Bio

Welcome to my Bio, random person. Yeah, my name is pretty redundant (Polaris - North Star, North... well north.)

Things you need to know about me?

I live in the Philippines. I'm a student and life gets a bit hectic so please understand if I suddenly become more sporadic when it comes to replies.

I'm involved in a lot of fandoms (mostly anime) and as long as it gets my interest, I'll join. My range is from free to casual [or well, as long as I can get it from the post I'm replying to]. I'm more of a fantasy kid than a slice of life but I think I can join something like that. I'm not much of a romance writer so I keep myself to PG-13 and not exceed anything else.

The two quieted down when Koga began speaking again. Channelling the power of the summon to you and use it. That was basically what he was saying right? "Right, right, that. Yeah, I'm willing to help!" Skelly said. Vincent then recalled how their powers were in sync upon summoning him. With the aid of Skelly, he managed to do it. This was something he couldn't read in the books so this was a first time experience, blindly stumbling into the basics. Although it was quite simple once he learned how to do it. He took a deep breath as he felt the power channel into him.

He raised his palm upwards and then focused the energy there. It wasn't soon until a small ball of black energy appeared at the center of his palm. A little more concentration made it shoot out into the open air. Vincent grinned as he looked at the fading ball of darkness and then to his palm. "Good job Vincy!" Skelly exclaimed in his mind. Vincent didn't reply but he did nod and he knew Skelly felt that. That was pretty cool. To think he would be able to do that in a much larger scale and without meditating, the idea of it really makes him smile.
@olcharlieboi

Alright, got it.
@olcharlieboi

Ah, alright, got it. I wonder if I could blind a character because shadow and all...
@olcharlieboi

Wait, what are we supposed to achieve? We get the summon's powers (shoot out a shard of ice if it's an ice summon)? Sorry, I'm a little confused.
Nah, I meant magician as petty card tricks and such. You know, to capture people's attention using a performance and having another to swoop in and steal from them.

Look at all those informants. Bet all of them will be the best of friends, sharing top secret information about kingdoms like it's the latest gossip.
Name: Emi Takamitsu [though she has a whole bundle of other fake names]

Age: 15

Appearance: Emi is quite the small thief. Standing at 5 feet flat, she is probably the smallest in her age group but she doesn't care much about that. She has shoulder-length blonde hair and bright blue eyes. She has that cute, innocent young girl look going on for her. Her clothing isn't very intimidating either and quite plain when paired up with her bright colored hair and eyes. She wears a custom-made mask and cloak whenever she meets someone out of the camp for information.

Personality: Emi is just the ball of cute energy and fun. She probably made the whole camp her friend and cheers up most of the people she comes across. Although she has very few emotional attachments and nearly no one she actually trusts (save for her partner in crime). She is very secretive about her past, as she was not born there. She manages to control the conversation so it wouldn't focus on her entirely. Although to those who she cares about, she can be a little protective. One should not even think of crossing her when it came to dirt in your name, if she doesn't already know your deepest darkest secrets, bet that she will soon enough. After all, she is an informant worthy of praise.

Weapon: She has two daggers hidden in her person that she uses for self-defense.

Other: She is also a magician (uses this for thieving most of the time). She is also a trusted informant in many parts of the kingdom, however illegal her methods of finding out are. Partners up with Will on multiple occasions.

Name: Will Trubant

Age: 18

Appearance: Will stands at a height of 5'7", a little small compared to the average height but good enough. He has jet black hair and dark brown eyes. He has an athletic body, built for speed, precision and acrobatic skills. He has a variety of clothing in his disposal, depending on who he plans to target.

Personality: Will is observant but outgoing. If anything, he's a gentleman worthy of praise among the nobility, mostly because he was a noble before he became a thief. He can be a smooth talker when he wants to and has been known to manipulate those he tries to steal from. Taking away their concentration from their valuable and onto him, his partner (Emi) would easily pick someone's pockets. His nonchalant behavior to trouble is something that worries most.

Weapon: He has six throwing knives inside a specially made holder, three on each side of his leg, but of course hidden from view. Another dagger hidden underneath his cloak/coat.

Other: His past is somewhat interesting, ask about it and he'll happily share. His partner in crime is Emi.

Location: B-list dorm area
Interacting with: His sister -> Holden via text @HushedWhispers

The two siblings were going back and forth talking about random things. They were not using pure English, mind you, rather a combination between the international language and their mother tongue. Although if one were to at least have some little knowledge in Filipino, they would manage to understand that Max was actually pretty worried about his sister. She was, in fact, sick in bed and had decided to call her brother who she knew wouldn't be busy today. It was that day that Max couldn't entirely understand. For someone who doesn't exactly like football as much as the Americans did, it wasn't a day he was too excited for. "Yeah, I'll call you later when I have the time." The call ended after that and he stood up to look out of the window.

The area was already bustling with activity. People were scurrying here and there, most likely those who were actually involved in the pep rally itself. Then there were the others who were just out and about, checking the preparations and such out of sheer curiosity. Usually, he would be down there, trying to help however he can but that call from his sister prompted him to stayed inside for the meantime. Actually, he was ready to get going before the call. Now, he felt lazier than ever. If the pep rally wasn't a mandatory attendance, he would've stayed inside his room.

Closing his laptop, Max placed it inside his laptop bag. He, of course, carried the laptop everywhere he went considering a moment of inspiration can strike at any time and who knows when he might need it. He also carried around a notebook inside and a pen in his pocket. He looked around. Everything looked neat and tidy. Holden had already left the dorm room earlier because of his position at the Glee Club. And Max was pretty sure that there was something going on in the club, some complications. Whatever it was, there was nothing he could actually do to help.

He was about to leave since he had everything ready when he noticed that he left his phone on his bed, silent too. Max sighed and went for the object and noticed the message that was sent to him. Speaking of Holden, he sent a text. Enjoying the pregame activities huh? He should've been.

To: Holden
Sad to say that I'm not. But sure, where to?

With that, he put his phone on vibrate, slid it into his pocket and went outside. The halls weren't particularly busy save for the occasional person passing by and saying hello. It wasn't long until he got outside of the dorms and out into the open. It wasn't soon until someone came up to him and asked for his help. While waiting for Holden's reply, might as well help out right? Right.
@Dark Light

Yeah, I figured it wouldn't be the last. Looking forward to how he'll get himself in the nurse's the next time.
@Dark Light

You know, I guess the nurses in the med bay would start to wonder how a guy could've gotten so hurt in under two hours of their first day in school.
Vincent's breath had began to be erratic and his legs began to burn. The dark silver haired boy wasn't going to give up easily though. He could still go on and if he couldn't then he had 'ol trusty adrenaline to do that for him. But it can only do him so much. His pacing and breathing was fine. His main problem was stamina. He had garnered enough stamina to last 10 normal laps but 10 laps, 1 mile each was ridiculous. He was a librarian before this after all. He felt pathetic really but what could he do now? He could train in the future but for now, he shouldn't wallow in self-pity.

It wasn't long until another one stopped. It was that guy that did some sort of interpretative dance when he attempted to summon a creature. Wasn't that guy in the clinic? And when did he join the running group? Well it didn't matter. He was soon flicked and was sent flying to another golem bird that sent him to someplace Vincent didn't know. It was then that he noticed that the golem had considerably slowed. Vincent knew he shouldn't find this as a point of rest for his tired legs so he faced straight and started to run once more.

He could see Charles at the head of the group. The guy had it all, as to be expected from the grandson of the headmaster. He had stamina, pacing and breathing control. Just like Lazzerus, that guy who was beside him. There were only few who realized that they had to keep good pacing and to control their breathing. Vincent was proud to say that he was one of them but sadly didn't have the stamina to back up his knowledge.

It wasn't long until the guy named Drake Sigurd had seemed to trip but he was still alright and kept on running. And run he did, face-first into a tree though. Vincent winced at that. That should've hurt him and that was evident since he passed out, along with exhaustion, that was understandable. Poor guy. It was then that they were signalled to stop and the golem stopped before it could step on Drake.

Unlike the others, he headed to Koga first before he tried to catch his breath. He placed both hands on his hips and then began taking deep breaths. His legs were threatening to give way under him. It shook in exhaustion and when he was done taking deep breaths, he let his arms fall to his side. He then looked back at Koga and then he introduced the golem and told them what they should do next. However, before he went into a meditation position, he looked up at the golem. He had a newfound respect for the giant. "It's nice to meet you Reginald. I look forward to training under your and Mr. Koga's supervision."

With that done, he then sat down, practically collapsing at that. He eased himself into a meditation pose and then started to meditate. He calmed himself and let all wary thoughts disappear from his mind. His concentration fully on meditating and connecting with his summon in the other dimension. It wasn't long until he heard Skelly's laughter. "What's up partner? I feel that you're tired, out of breath! You alright?" The skeletal dragon's voice was happy and full of mirth. It was like he was just talking with another spirit like it was nothing.

"Running two miles while being chased by a golem does that." Vincent replied and the two shared a telepathic laugh. Vincent was truly happy with Skelly but somehow, he knew that Skelly was just putting up a front right now. It was like he was hiding something for now, from him, and it had something to do with the real him. The one who was lost within mountains of masks.
