Layla has, what a person calls, an ‘average figure’. She doesn’t have much of a chest and is rather average in the height department, if not smaller. What does catch other’s attention is her blurred eyes and then the gentle smile on her face. She always seems to wear a doctor’s lab coat just to look professional and carries around a retractable cane. She does have wing tattoos on her back which, when activated, actually turn into white angel wings.

The Axis made her contacts that would make her look like she’s not blind but she leaves it behind at most times, even lost them once or twice. Her wings were actually modified to be able to contract her wings into a tattoo so she wouldn’t stand out too much but everyone in the facility knows about it anyway. Her back also has multiple scars that couldn't be fully healed thanks to these experiments.

Layla is a very calm and caring person. Despite knowing that the Axis, whom she is working for, killed her parents and took her in as some sort of healing slave, she doesn’t bear a grudge towards them. She is passive about a lot of things. She believes that they treat her well enough, given that she was allowed free roam around the facility and even create friends despite her obviously different properties. She is also highly dependent on Vincent when it comes to her personal life when they were young so that’s why she was able to forge a friendly relationship with him.

Layla was born to an angel mother and a human father, causing her to actually have pretty distinct angel physical looks and powers. It was only when she was eight when the Axis raided their home and killed both of her parents. Upon seeing the blind child, they took her in and experimented on her angel wings. It caused pain and they were able to actually hide the wings. They also found that she was able to heal humans, making her quite an asset. But they had to assure her loyalty, and thus was left to Vincent to take care of her and become her ‘friend’. And so she grew up around killer humans who hunt her own kind, but for some odd reason or another, she doesn’t have the heart to hate them. Perhaps it was because of her angel half?

She has the power of flight and can lift at most, twice her size while flying. Any more and she begins have more noticeable difficulties. She also has the power of healing. This works on humans, demons and other angels. She also has a much higher sense of hearing, to the point where she sometimes uses echolocation to figure out where she is, and touch, which she uses for medical purposes (checking for any fractures, heartbeat and things that need actual equipment to figure out.)

+ Her echolocation skills are very advanced and can probably get through a complicated maze without much trouble

- While she does have heightened senses, most of the time, she fails to notice who she is talking to or is beside her until they speak up.
- She gets tired when she treats truly fatal wounds
- She doesn’t have the heart to kill other people (unless extremely angered which is hard to do)

There are times where she would take care of Ichi, Vincent’s German Shepherd, so she actually grows close to the dog.
Despite her disability, she learned how to write. She also knows Morse code which she often uses to convey hidden messages to Vincent.

I was planning on making a halfbreed angel that is blind and can heal wounds. I was thinking that maybe the Axis caught on her power when she was young and decided to kidnap and groom her to help them, with the supervision of others of course (I guess I'll just make it Vincent).

I don't know if the Axis is willing to do that or not though.

Vincent looks older than what he actually is. He is rather small for his age and looks lean. He rarely smiles on missions but when he isn't in a mission, there's a relaxed smile that is ever present in his face. When doing assassination attempts, he usually wears a mask to cover his identity. However, he is quick to hide this mask when he's in the public.

Vincent will do anything to do his job properly. You can say that he’s one of the people who just loves doing his work and his only reasoning is because he needs to repay the company for taking care of him ever since he was a child. It can be said that he doesn’t have any mercy or any form of morality. Anything is fair game to Vincent, may it be a child, a demon or an angel. As long as you’re his target, he will kill you. He has never been bribed into sparing anyone. However, when he does kill a child that is just right in front of him, he has a tendency to close his eyes as soon as he pulls the trigger.

However, outside of the job, Vincent is pretty relaxed and nice despite his rough upbringing in Axis. While he kills half-breeds, angels and demons as a job, he doesn’t have any personal grudges towards them although there are exceptions to these (like the one that ripped his arm off). He is brutally honest at times and is usually straightforward, not sparing any effort to sugarcoat the truth.

Vincent was one of the orphans that was taken in by the Axis so he grew up inside a facility with no one to call his family so he began thinking as the other kids as siblings their instructor as his father. He never saw much of the outside world when he was a child and instead of action figures and video games, he had guns and knives to play with. Holding a gun felt very natural to him. It was on an outdoor training when a demon appeared and began barraging him with attacks. He was alone and still very much inexperienced. He did everything he could to defeat the demon but couldn’t and lost his arm in the process. While he failed to defeat a rogue demon, they still allowed him to stay and made a cybernetic arm for him. He showed excellent marks when it comes to long-range assassination and also showed interest in robotics and such. He also grew up with Layla, a halfbreed angel, and still continues to take care of her and sometimes takes her with him on assassination missions, depending on what he needs.

At most assassination missions, he brings with him a Barrett XM500 with thermal vision. Also on missions, he carries two Glock 17s. He always has two‘Baby Glocks’ and two knives hidden within his person.

Vincent has a German Shepherd named Ichi derived from "Ichaival", a mythological Norse weapon. It serves as his guard and attack dog when he's on sniping missions. It is very loyal to its master. Vincent had picked up the dog when he was in his teen years when he saw it abandoned as a pup and with permission, made it his own.
Ichi is well known inside the Axis base that Vincent is stationed at. It is more than an attack dog as when it doesn't go on missions, it's usually out and delivering letters.

Zaru the Chimchar

Zaru groggily rose up as he heard the nearing footsteps of Spirit. Once the guildmaster entered, he greeted him with a nod, still half-asleep for the moment. He was tired from the day before after all. The curtains were opened and Spirit left. It took a minute or two before he finally stood up and made his way towards the window. He looked out while stretching his limbs. After he was contended with that, he began making his way out of his room. Before going downstairs however, he made his way to Devon's room to see how the Totodile was faring. The guy passed out yesterday. He did not enter as he saw Celty already there, he'll greet them later on.

With that, he made his way downstairs and saw that the twins and the couple was already there. "Mornin'." He greeted and then sat down near the other pokemon.

He looked towards Phoenix as she asked about the orphanage teaching them how to control their powers. Leo looked down at his hands, clenched it and opened it again to reveal a small paper clip. The orphanage certainly helped him with controlling his power, especially in his sleep. He used to materialize a lot of things when he was asleep. Now, he can sleep easy with the knowledge that he's not going to materialize a sword while he's asleep and accidentally fall into it.

Leo averted his eyes back to Ms. Smith as she answered both her and William's questions. By now, he was pretty sure he's close to finishing his current studies. He's not too sure though.
