Bio

Welcome to my Bio, random person. Yeah, my name is pretty redundant (Polaris - North Star, North... well north.)

Things you need to know about me?

I live in the Philippines. I'm a student and life gets a bit hectic so please understand if I suddenly become more sporadic when it comes to replies.

I'm involved in a lot of fandoms (mostly anime) and as long as it gets my interest, I'll join. My range is from free to casual [or well, as long as I can get it from the post I'm replying to]. I'm more of a fantasy kid than a slice of life but I think I can join something like that. I'm not much of a romance writer so I keep myself to PG-13 and not exceed anything else.

Myno

Myno could barely gaze at Roane and barely registered her words. He let out a grunt as a reply - whether it was a 'yes' or a 'no' would be up to her to decipher. But he was obviously in no good shape. He, himself, knew it. He inwardly cursed to himself for being inattentive. Years of sleeping seems to have made him rusty in the art of war. The Mauthe Doog he had summoned stood by him loyally, its aim to protect him from anything that was an enemy. Although no one seemed to even notice him anymore as the Varjans and Dwarves ignored him to battle with each other.

The Manakete heard yet another voice - it was the boy prince's voice. His eyes blurred and cleared repeatedly as he gazed upon the prince. He was saying something he could not decipher. But he guessed it was somewhere between the lines of 'we have to get out of here' and 'get to safety'. He let himself be dragged by the prince, feet under him barely walking in a straight line. He fought for his consciousness. He certainly couldn't fall unconscious now, not in the battlefield. He would just be a burden and that was the last thing he wanted to be.

There was a flash of bright light that temporarily blinded him. It took a while for him to process that it was an attack - a lightning bolt striking down on a huge portion of the battlefield. He could hear a new voice calling out to the prince who was supporting him. He still had his consciousness for now and could understand bits and pieces and he managed to put two and two together. That red clothed girl and the blue clothed girl - Keerin, he thought her name was - were fighting whether or not they should leave the others. Myno wasn't thinking clearly as his mind was too busy fighting for consciousness but he said the first thing that came to his mind.

"Leave." He muttered but it was loud enough for others to hear. "Retreat. Too many."
You guys' choice. I don't really mind either way.

Robyn

@Fubsy @oWhiteDiamondo @Nikki Moonlight

Robyn listened intently. So this was about her - the loner from earlier. She remembered about it just earlier. Homicidal reasons was one way to put it so the pups wouldn't have to worry about it. Crescent Moon and that incident did happen back when she was just a newcomer. While the rest of the pack viewed it as terrible and expelled her from the pack, Robyn didn't really find anything too wrong with it back then. She still had the mentality of his old pack. So when Crescent Moon defended herself and told them that she acted in self-defense, Robyn actually believed her and wanted her to stay. She was the strong one - the strong will live and the weak will die. It was her old pack's mantra.

However, she soon learned that Ai Espiritus was nothing like her old pack. She always heard about them being a bunch of weaklings who couldn't take on another pack. Though it was only because this pack had a lot of different rules. When Robyn learned these rules, she knew that the other packs were only mistaken. This was a tight-knit pack who could take on a lot of others. She knew that fact now, and accepted it wholeheartedly.

When Angelwing told the warriors, hunters and the deputy to stay, Robyn did. She watched as the others went back to their own respective dens or do what they were doing earlier. Now what would Angelwing want this time? Find and destroy that wolf? Keep a lookout for her?

Julio breathed out a sigh as Terra began to speak. It took a while for Terra to finish what he was saying and activate his semblance, and Julio wasn't going to let the opportunity slip. Before Terra could strike the ground with his spade to order the seven spectral balls of fire towards him, he already shot three bullets that was infused with fire dust. Hopefully that would catch him by surprise.

But the fact that seven balls of fire were heading towards him was still there. He had to get out. But there was no way out. With all seven coming at him at different directions, there were only little gaps in between. He began analyzing what he had in a short moment. He had to tank a hit. But he'd lose... wouldn't he?

Julio turned and began heading to the fireball that was behind him originally. He would tank that one. He headed towards the ball of fire and dove in between that and the other ball of fire, but he was sure to get hit. But he would at least be safe from the others. He hated having to show his semblance at such an early time in combat, but he had no choice. He at least wanted to win. Before his aura would go lower than 15%, a pale yellow color would envelop Julio and his aura meter would go back to 50%.

Julio noticed that Terra was actually growing impatient. He could understand that - they were going on for a while now. This was way longer than Asher and Terrance's fight. Julio knew this would happen though, since he had to keep his distance from the enemy and thus draw out the fight. And it was an open arena without anything to use to your advantage, unfortunately enough. Perch Julio on a tree and let him snipe from there with someone else distracting the enemies and they'd be good to go. However, this fight was nothing like that.

When Terra closed the gap, Julio knew he couldn't take another onslaught. His tail grabbed a wind dust crystal and then activated it, sending Julio backwards and then he skidded to a stop a few meters away. Terra should have had his aura somewhere near his own. Only a few more. He would switch it to ice-infused bullets and aim at his hands and feet to hopefully freeze them into place even if it's only for a moment.

Julio didn't take it. He moved away and the bullet missed. Once Terra had landed, Julio didn't give the guy a chance to recover from hitting the ground and immediately shot three sniper rifle rounds that are infused with fire dust.

Ah, so this was getting them nowhere it seems. They were evenly matched. It disappointed Julio to be honest - not only was Terra a close ranged fighter, but he was also a great sniper. It made him rethink how well he actually trained himself. Then again, given that he was more or less self-taught upon reaching Vault, he shouldn't be too irked.

Julio finally stopped, right after Terra would shoot one bullet. He didn't seem tired though and he seemed extremely focused on Terra's movement. Analyzing every single small movement. He was waiting for an opportunity.

It was a good thing that Julio was already thinking of rolling away, or else the bullet would've hit him. He then sat up and then stared at Terra for the shortest of seconds. So the guy had his own sniper rifle eh? He could've revealed it earlier on, when Terra had been in a distance, but Julio guessed it was part of the surprise. Because it definitely did surprise him. Guess this was the downside of having an unknown opponent.

But it at least gave Julio some experience. His lips tugged upwards revealing a small smirk. Let's see who's the better sniper, was what he was thinking. Julio began constantly moving, running around while occasionally shooting at Terra. Julio knew that he had a small amount of aura left - 25%? 20%? Heck, maybe even lower. But that wasn't the point, he needed to keep on the move, make his movements as unpredictable as possible, as to avoid being hit by another bullet.

Julio was pinned. He was doomed. Or was he really? After two times of Terra smacking his staff down on his stomach, he finally formulated a formula. His tail quickly sneaked into his pocket and took out a wind dust crystal. Without any intention to aim, only to get out, he activated the dust crystal that would send a strong gust of wind aimed at Terra that would certainly make him stumble, if not fly away a short distance. It would give the monkey faunus breathing room after all and that was the main point.
