Bio

Welcome to my Bio, random person. Yeah, my name is pretty redundant (Polaris - North Star, North... well north.)

Things you need to know about me?

I live in the Philippines. I'm a student and life gets a bit hectic so please understand if I suddenly become more sporadic when it comes to replies.

I'm involved in a lot of fandoms (mostly anime) and as long as it gets my interest, I'll join. My range is from free to casual [or well, as long as I can get it from the post I'm replying to]. I'm more of a fantasy kid than a slice of life but I think I can join something like that. I'm not much of a romance writer so I keep myself to PG-13 and not exceed anything else.

I shall expect dark themes then.
Something I should mention. This is not going to be as.. innocent as other fantasy roleplays.

Not innocent is just what I was looking for, no worries.

And for formality.

@Superman

Eh busy with school anyhow so go ahead.
@Superman

He'll go first I guess and I'll post some time after that.

Ah the SWAT, the sweet sweet SWAT.

Oh, and not convicted but sends a team of better trained soldiers after them. The government amuses me.
Kenji had not noticed the obvious kitsune appearing, but he did take note of her later on when he saw her again. Though he was quite aware that the kitsune race is quite mischievous, he didn't put any blame on her. This didn't seem like an illusion after all. He could feel the spiritual presence of these yokai, and even get their scent. Either she wasn't doing this or she was a very powerful kitsune - however, evident by her having only three tails, he guessed it was the former.

His, for now human, ears perked up when he heard a shout but didn't think anything of it as he didn't understand what the word meant so he simply dismissed it. He looked back at the oni and then chuckled before jumping back to avoid a swipe made by a skeleton and promptly blasted it to pieces. "Ah, if only I was then this would have been easier yes? Unfortunately, I am but a mere yokai - an okami, if you want to be more specific." He answered honestly, seeing no real reason for him to lie about his race. He guessed it was his still human appearance that threw her off. He tirelessly wrote the fire symbols and hurtled multiple fireballs and the ever increasing amount of small skeletons with the humongous one looming over them. Though he fears that if this were to go a lot longer, then he would eventually tire out. Even with their extraordinary stamina, there is a limit. "You raise good points. Perhaps a subspecies then. And no, unfortunately, sealing talismans would prove just as effective on me as it would on that skeleton."

He kept an ear out for the boy who had ran towards the in as he began to speak. Oh? A talisman? What an amazing coincidence. Once he was sure that none of the skeletons were close enough to do any harm to them for even a moment, he turned back to look at the young man. Yes, that was perfect. If it was, indeed, a sealing talisman - then it would put an end to that giant skeleton and the hordes of smaller skeletons. He was certain that he and the black haired oni could make a clear path towards the skeleton. Slapping that onto the skeleton should solve their problems. Then the black haired woman with the bokken suddenly shot lightning at one of the skeletons but quickly retreated. Was his speculation of her being a raijuu correct? Though it seemed to shock the girl as much as it did to them. He wondered why.

But there was no time to keep dawdling over something like that. He could speculate more later. There were more pressing matters at hand. Then, a silver haired girl stepped up and then claiming that she was fast. The oni then told her to place the talisman on the skeleton and that she'll clear a path towards it. "Be careful." He told the silver haired girl before turning to the oni who had been trying to catch his attention and then signaled towards the giant skeleton.

Oh, so that's how she was going to play it. "I'll cover for you then." He said. Once the oni had charged towards the giant skeleton, he began to rapidly draw the fire symbol in quick succession and sending fireballs to the skeletons that got too close for comfort to the oni. Hopefully, with her kind of physical strength, it would be enough to remove the skull clean off its shoulders and end all of this once and for all. Though he had the gut feeling that they really need to use that talisman or else it wouldn't end.
@Cuccoruler

Ey bro, haven't really put up the barrier spell yet. Thought I should point that out. He was just thinking about it.

Sorry for the confusion.
@easy modo

Indeed they are.
So they were grabbed as well hm? The same thing happened to him. Someone must have dragged all of them to this place - whoever it was, though, still remains unknown. Kenji nodded at the other male's suggestion of exploring the grounds, but the feeling of the ground shaking took him by surprise and it was followed by a deafening roar which made the male flinch, the sound louder to him than the humans with him thanks to him being a wolf and all. He turned around to see a giant skeleton arm rising from the bottom of the stairs and then slamming down on the bottom steps and another one followed suit.

And finally the body had shown itself. Kenji narrowed his eyes at the skeleton. A yokai? Definitely one. He can't mistake such a giant skeleton for anything else. A Gashadokuro perhaps? These ones were hard to cleanse, but smashing it should do the trick. Several skeletons crawled out of its body, eliciting a groan from the white haired male. He heard the male suggest they run away and he could hear his footsteps as he ran away.

"I agree. Let us take shelter at the shrine." Kenji said, reaching under the wraps of his clothing and then taking out the Celestial Brush. He looked at the two other girls who were still remaining - with one having visible electric currents circling above her head and the other having horns. A Raijuu and an Oni? He couldn't be too sure about the former as she showed no signs of wielding the electricity but the Oni, with her superior strength as she shattered one of the skeletons to pieces, made it obvious that he was right.

The white haired male looked back at one of the skeletons who was charging at him, bare-handed. He quickly started to write the kanji for fire in the air, each stroke visible as if he was writing on paper, but he was writing on thin air. The symbol was very simple and very quick to do and once that was done, he crossed the symbol and it turned into a fireball and hurled itself at the skeleton, the impact shattering it and the fire still remained burning at the bones. It had been a while since he had actively used this against other beings, mostly because it was not normal (as it was magic) and it could potentially kill humans.

He reached the Oni and dodged one of her swings before writing another fire symbol on the air and sending one at another skeleton to help her. "Shall we fight together, Oni?" He asked, for formality perhaps. He then went up a few more steps and hurled another fireball at the skeletons. He finally noticed two others at the top, one girl and another male with his head lopped off but still looked very much alive. Nukekubi? But, that only occured on women according to all accounts. The Gashadokuro was still there and certainly still a problem.

"Do you think you can handle the Gashadokuro?" He asked the horned woman, expecting her to know about some Japanese lore. Though he was not entirely sure that it was a Gashadokuro, as it lacked the noise it would often produce, but it was the closest he could think of. "I can cover for you." He then turned his head towards the other people. "And them as well." His barrier spell should hold and they were further into the shrine which could be some sort of cover.

Just out of HQ --> Alleys

@FallenTrinity

Shindo leaned back when Sinnister leaned in, out of instinct. He stared at him blankly, listening to every single word pouring out of the older male's mouth. A side? Pick a side? True, they were all getting involved whether they want it or not. He didn't want to get involved, he never wants to get involved whenever this happens. The green haired male had only followed orders because he needed to - because he needed the money and the fact that he can freely enter or exit certain establishments because of his hero license under the guise of an 'investigation'. It was, in a way, but not officially approved by anyone other than him.

"Advice I can surely appreciate." It was the only reply he gave the man before waving goodbye to Sinnister. He rubbed the back of his neck and let out a heavy sigh. What a great way to end the heroic day huh? News of rumors like this spreading around HA. He would need to lay low for a while again. He was sure that the villains had their eyes on them. They would somehow get this information - they always did. It would be too risky to perform any investigations for now. He needed to wait this out and hopefully nothing goes too wrong.

He balled his hands into fists and took another deep breath to calm himself down. He then smoothed down his jacket and then let out his breath in another sigh. He should do something worthwhile today, get him out of this mood and all. Doing something nice should do it. He continued his walk, taking one step after another like any other human being and he found himself weaving through the crowd. He blocked out the noise, finding himself growing a little irritated with how noisy everything was. It might just be his mood affecting what he feels about other actions people do. He needed to be around less people.

Shindo slipped into one of the alleys and got away from the crowd, thankfully enough. He adjusted the collar of his shirt, feeling like he was suffocating from the crowd and his own thoughts. He shook his head and continued down the alley with no destination in mind. Maybe he should just head back home and see if any of his parents have anything planned for him. Or maybe go and visit a friend maybe? Nah, they're probably busy with a lot of other crap. He could do the homework in less than two hours.
Kenji wove through the crowds. New Year's Eve, the Japanese people always liked visiting shrines at this time to send their prayers/wishes to the gods and goddesses for another fruitful year. He felt that it was more tradition than belief by now. Now what was he doing at Koumi Shrine and not at his own? He was sent here to deliver a bottle of sake, a gift to the larger shrine and for those that help in it. He looked around, a smile on his face as he saw how lively the area was. It was always nice to see the humans mingling with each other.

Upon reaching the main shrine's entrance, he greeted one of the workers and then was led to their head priest to whom he gave the bottle of sake to. They conversed for a while, nonsensical questions and answers about what is going on in their lives and such. He lived way longer than these humans so he didn't get why they were so caught up with what happened in their lives. It might be something he will never understand. The head priest continued to talk about his nephew who was apparently very close to them and how he's growing up and that the priest missed playing with the young male. Kenji listened without much of a reaction. He simply sat there, drinking the sake given to him and listened, sometimes humming because he was impressed or approved of what the male had said.

The head priest looked at the time and then apologized for taking so much of his time, even though he only came here for an errand. The white haired male waved it off dismissively and then told him that it was no problem at all. They said their farewells and then Kenji left. He let out a sight once he stepped out of the main shrine. However, movement caught his eye of something or someone heading to the back of the shrine. Tilting his head to the side, he decided to investigate. Someone might need help after all.

Upon turning the corner, there was no one there. Probably a trick of the light or something. He turned around and then began making his way back to the festivities. However, he felt something grab his shoulder in conjunction with something else grabbing his leg and torso. It all happened in an instant and he couldn't even turn his head to look at the attacker. In a snap, he seemed to have gone unconscious.

When Kenji came to, he immediately noticed that he was staring up at the sky. That meant he was lying down. He would have assumed that someone drugged him and stolen something of his that looked precious, but seeing the sky painted red, he knew something was wrong. He slowly sat up and then surveyed his surroundings. Surprisingly, this looked like the shrine steps and there were other people with him, but not nowhere near as much as before. There was one girl pointing an accusatory finger at a guy and then another person who was taking a drink from a gourd.

He slowly stood up and dusted himself off. Yes, this was odd. The crowds had disappeared, the sky is now red and they are apparently in an exact copy of the shrine but it was not the shrine they were in before... and the problem was, Kenji had no idea how they got here in the first place. He rubbed the back of his head and then slowly approached the other people, stopping beside Yagra who was a few steps below the male and the other female.

"Apologies for the intrusion... and by your expressions, I do not think I should even ask if you know where we are." There was no time for panic. Panicking won't help this situation after all so he set aside his rational side arguing that this is all just a weird dream or something. He clasped his hands together, as a sort of polite gesture. "I would like to know if any of you remember how we got here. I certainly do not." He admitted. No shame in that.
