Bio

Welcome to my Bio, random person. Yeah, my name is pretty redundant (Polaris - North Star, North... well north.)

Things you need to know about me?

I live in the Philippines. I'm a student and life gets a bit hectic so please understand if I suddenly become more sporadic when it comes to replies.

I'm involved in a lot of fandoms (mostly anime) and as long as it gets my interest, I'll join. My range is from free to casual [or well, as long as I can get it from the post I'm replying to]. I'm more of a fantasy kid than a slice of life but I think I can join something like that. I'm not much of a romance writer so I keep myself to PG-13 and not exceed anything else.

Oh hey, Maya and Rikuo probably know each other from back when they were training in the Northern Water Tribe. If they're friends, it'd be a nice conflict when they meet each other on the field in opposite sides.

Aaand, there we go.

EDIT: I messed up the Water Tribes. I fixed it though.
Leo dumped his backpack into the Impala's trunk. He then rubbed the back of his head as he only now noticed that his laptop bag was also there. Oh man, he had a lot of stuff to carry. Oh well! Such is the life of a photographer! He's lucky he didn't have to drag his tripod around... unless that would be needed and then he'll regret not bringing it. He then hopped onto the side seat and began fiddling with his camera. It was all cleaned and ready to shoot.

As Leo leaned back onto the car as they started to move. That was when Ben began leaning over to look at someone. When he excitedly said that it might have been Gabby, a rather kind girl in his opinion, he whipped out his camera to take one last shot of her... unless they were going to the same college in which case he'll probably hang out around her more. As Ben confessed his love for her right in front of her boyfriend, Craig, he snapped the perfect picture of Craig holding up a middle finger with his mouth wide open.

He chuckled at it before looking over to Ben. "Yeah, I can see that." He said with a smile. He personally didn't have any experience in love, and he will never have experience in it, but he knew how to spot someone who's in love. "Ah New York, the city that never sleeps. Let's go." He said with a nod. He then looked over to Cyrus who was saying something about compiling some music.

"Oh man, you should be the one here on the passenger seat Cyrus! Ben here was looking for a DJ. Right, let's get that music plugged in."
And I'll probably wait for Delta for at least a day or two.
Leo chuckled before slamming his hand on Ben's back, though not so much as to hurt him. "Dude, you know I'm no music guru. Anyone in your car can just tell me what to play though." He said. He was that kind of guy who just listened to anything people could give him. No preferences whatsoever. He just guessed it wasn't really all that interesting for him. It was good for some background noise but it never helped him with focus, unlike what other people claim.

He then looked at Rowan and then gave her a goofy smile. "Yeah, should've been more specific. But the open air car is something I can appreciate." He said, gesturing to the Impala. "I can bear with Ben here for a while." He joked before adding a chuckle at the end.

Cyrus had then arrived and he waved at the male. The guy wasn't known for being socially active so he guessed that him greeting Cyrus the usual way would be too overbearing. "I think they can fix you up on the window seat." He said reassuringly to the anxiety-riddled male.

"Congrats to you too Claire." He then turned to Ben to hear about the answers.
Leo grinned as he brought the camera down, "You would have been so dead Ben." He sounded like he was regretting ever warning the guy that he was going to take a shot. Though, he wasn't exactly looking for embarrassing poses; he had another time for that. He then fixed the strap of his camera bag, which was separate from his other bag that contains his essentials. "So, how are we assigning the seats? 'Cause I call window seat... or shotgun." He continued with a little laugh. He was a little bit too excited for this field trip. He's never been out of town without his parents.

Then a familiar voice greeted them. He turned around to see 'them'. Leo had learned that Rowan didn't refer to themselves as a 'her' or 'him'. It was difficult to get used to, since he would often fall on the group that calls Rowan a 'her' but after a while, he finally got the hang of it. Even so, he didn't know a lot about Rowan aside from their name, the fact that they were gender neutral, and that they were a schoolmate. Not that unfamiliarity was a barrier for him. "Heya Rowan! Glad you're here with us bud." Honestly, he was glad that he was going with the group. There were people he didn't know there, not much anyway, so this was a great chance to finally interact with them.

It became glaringly obvious that Leo wasn't going to change out of his long sleeved button up shirt, dress pants and sneakers. He was used to dressing like this when outside anyhow, and it wasn't particularly hot for him. He was pretty sure that he had a ton of button up shirts in his bag. He adjusted the cuffs of his shirt as he waited for the others. He looked around the parking lot to see if anyone else came up. He remembered who was on the list and he practically knew everyone in the school by name and face. If you were practically the professional photographer of the school, you were bound to know everyone's names by the time you graduate. It was also the reason why he was part of the school newspaper.

He spotted the black haired debater looking around the parking lot, looking for them. Leo raised his hand and waved at her, "Hey Claire! Over here!" And once more, she was another person who he wasn't particularly close with. In fact, she was more of an acquaintance - a passing face. Leo would often take pictures of debates, again because of his earned title, and she would be the one featured. Now how many more were missing? Well, he'd know when he saw them.
Leonardo looked at the diploma he had on his hands. He was part of the honor roll. Surely his father wouldn't be angry. Wait, was he even here? He was sure that his mother would be there. She always was a supportive person. He felt a hand on his shoulder and he gave him a thumbs up. They talked for a while as they changed out of their toga and into their formal attire. He was wearing a long sleeved white dress shirt, black pants and a black suit. He had a red necktie. They then headed out and joined in on the photos like the teenagers they are. In fact, Leo even took out his camera to take pictures of his class and others. They were all smiles and some even shed tears of joy.

They passed after all!

He squeezed out of the groups and found his mother there. He quickly headed over and then they hugged. "Congratulations Leo!" She then noticed that he was looking around and she spoke, "Your father couldn't come. Business meeting."

"Should have expected that. At least you're here for me mom, thanks for that." Leo then gave her another hug.

"Here, a letter from your brother." His mother said, giving him a piece of folded paper. It was a letter about congratulating him for finishing high school and how he should enjoy his life. Lester also said that he was proud of him and that he was sure that he would go on to become a successful person. Even after his father technically disowned him, but didn't actually sign any papers, his mother and him would still visit Lester.

"I need to go mom. Time for our little field trip." His mother handed him his bag that was his essentials for the trip and some extra money, even if he had a lot. Leo kissed her on the cheek before saying goodbye after he gave her the suit jacket. He was fine with going around in his semi-casual outfit after all. He then headed over to where the meeting was.

"Yo Ben, Zac! Think fast!" He yelled as he brought the camera up and then snapped a photo of the two, whatever their positions were.
@Hawklyte

Thanks man.

Just put Leo on the window seat or the driver seat and he's all good!

Name: Leonardo Westerian
Nickname: Leo
Age: 18

Why your taking the trip of a lifetime: He just wants to have fun with the others and to make a lot of memories. Though, it seems that he also wants to take a bunch of pictures for his photography blog.

Personality: To a lot of people, Leo's an outgoing and fun-loving person. He is often referred to as a ball of energy. He doesn't seem to let anything get him down - even the reality of the world, which he is completely aware of, isn't enough to bring him down. He's quick to bounce back from sadness, should it come to that, and continue to be his cheerful and optimistic self. He's willing to try a lot of new things if it sounds fun but his interest doesn't stick too easily. Aside from photography, he has no other hobbies to turn to.

He seems to have a need to constantly have someone by his side as he finds himself feeling lonely only after a short while away from any contact with others. He easily gets lonely, and when he gets lonely, that's when he gets depressed. He also finds talking about his problems very difficult as he doesn't want anyone to know that he has problems. To him, he feels like it is a responsibility to be a beacon of positive energy for other people.

Backstory: Leo was born to a father who is an oil tycoon and a mother who is a contractor. He also has an older brother named Lester whom he was once very close to. He was born with a silver spoon in his mouth. Anything he wanted, he could get. They were rich after all. That's why he was able to look back at his childhood very fondly. He had caring parents and a good older brother. Of course, all good things must come to an end. When Lester had failed to meet their father's expectations of him taking on the family business, heated arguments ensued every night at dinner. His mother tried to quell the heat as long as she can but they would always end up parting ways before anyone could finish properly. Lester had also fallen to drug abuse which only furthered their father's anger for him. Lester was soon put in jail but his father refused to bail him out.

In the span of this time, Leo couldn't open up to his parents that he also didn't want to be a businessman or anything like that. He wanted to try his hand at professional photography or maybe even medicine! But he would end up like Lester so he kept photography as only a hobby and promised his parents, mostly to his father really, that he would take up business management. At the start of high school, he had started up a blog that was just filled with photos of the places he went to, which was a lot considering his family often went out, and it garnered quite a bit of followers. He now diligently posts new photos every time he goes to someplace interesting.

Favorite Music Genre: Doesn't seem to have a preferred type of music

Others:
- He's an aromantic asexual person who usually acts like a wingman for both girls and boys
- He's willing to drive for most of the trip
