Bio

Welcome to my Bio, random person. Yeah, my name is pretty redundant (Polaris - North Star, North... well north.)

Things you need to know about me?

I live in the Philippines. I'm a student and life gets a bit hectic so please understand if I suddenly become more sporadic when it comes to replies.

I'm involved in a lot of fandoms (mostly anime) and as long as it gets my interest, I'll join. My range is from free to casual [or well, as long as I can get it from the post I'm replying to]. I'm more of a fantasy kid than a slice of life but I think I can join something like that. I'm not much of a romance writer so I keep myself to PG-13 and not exceed anything else.

Via cursed under her breath as her sword didn't cut all the way through - or hit anywhere near where she was planning. But at least she was able to injure her first enemy on this dungeon right? However, it soon became evident that she was in trouble as the Kobold was still alive and kicking - and more bloodthirsty than ever. The Kobold charged towards her, with all the speed and rage the Kobold had inside. In a split second decision after realizing that she couldn't dodge by now, she decided to attempt to block the attack by moving forward while attempting to swipe at its arm that was threatening to rip her apart - essentially just doing what the Kobold had done earlier to block her attack on its neck. She wasn't sure how this was going to play out, but hell, she didn't know how anything would happen.

She heard the Berserker Dwarf call out to her to ask how she was. Honestly, she didn't know. However, the girl had a big grin on her face despite being faced with near-certain injury. "I think I'm doing good!" She yelled back, but never looked towards him. Or else, she was pretty sure the Kobold would slice her head off given the chance.

Hancock was pretty much impressed with what was happening. After taking the workers out, with the assurance that the Triggermen would protect them, they started going to work. Hancock even went to help them with his own band of guards - though a lot of them stayed within Goodneighbor to make sure that nothing happens while the Mayor was out. Fahrenheit and Whistler aided the Triggermen with providing security - with the Whistler being up in the buildings with his sniper rifle and spotting anything that was amiss. There were some ghouls, yeah, but those were easily disposed off by Pipe weapons.

Hancock was pretty much surprised when supplies started coming in for the people of Goodneighbor. Junk that was usually just brushed off was being taken in by the dozens, and the people of Goodneighbor were actually impressed with what was happening. The Mayor, himself, found some old junk that he managed to pocket - and some ammo as well, leftover from before the war. Or maybe some idiot Raiders who forgot it? Who knows?

But then the treasures started popping up. Chems were being found left and right, and the good people of his town gave it to him and his team. Some went over to the Triggermen who had wanted it. The civvies didn't seem to be fond of chems, but they didn't seem too angry that their Mayor was a chem-addict.

"Everythin's going well, ain't it, Amari?" Hancock asked he took another shot of Jet in front of the doctor. The Mayor was taking a break for a while so he was just outside the wall of Goodneighbor and the good doctor was just visiting.

Amari looked at the chems the Mayor was holding and rolled her eyes. "Yeah, sure. You're getting all the chems, of course it's going well." Hancock simply laughed at this. She then looked towards the workers. "At least they're motivated."

Hancock nodded. "Nothing like protection and treasure to get them workin'." He grinned at Amari. "We've only just breached the surface. Who knows what else we can find?"

"Ghouls?"

He stuck his tongue out. "Chems, Amari! Chems and treasure in forms of junk!" He said with a loud chuckle.

The two talked about where they would get the supplies to actually build the wall once they were done cleaning up the territory. While they had some supplies already, they still needed more. Amari suggested that they send someone to Bunker Hill to speak to some of the merchants there. Hancock still wasn't sure about that but decided to put up a poster. If anyone was interested in going out to the Commonwealth only armed with whatever they had, then they should step up to Hancock.

Gabriel's breath hitched as he rolled away from another volley of arrows - but thankfully the building he was hiding behind covered him from death. Jack's attack didn't damage the monster as well. Damn, there really was no defeating this thing. If there was, he wasn't seeing it He looked around and saw their resident giants going around as well - and some people evacuating others. Or, was it already done? He wasn't even sure anymore.

If his guess was true, then they could only stop this if they could stop whoever was controlling them. A necromancer, right? Strapping back his bow, he unsheathed his sword and then attempted to stop the skeletons from surrounding him. After the third skeleton went down, he noticed someone frantically waving his arms at him. Gabriel backed away to look at him and try to understand what the man was saying. Retreat? Evacuate? He wasn't as well-versed with the delicate art of sign language, so he couldn't catch most of it.

But then, someone else came along. It was the mystery woman from the tavern from earlier, and that man was the flute guy. She translated what he had said. More or less, it was what he had expected. He was telling them to retreat since they evacuated the people inside the church. Gabriel actually didn't know that there were people inside. He had expected that there was only one person there, and that was the person who had tolled the bell, but he thought the person had escaped. Well, that was unintentional. He was only ever supporting Jack as he charged for the monster.

"Jack, let's go!" He shouted at the gauntlet wielding man as he sheathed the sword and took out his bow once more. He then began shooting arrows to cover Jack. He wasn't sure if the guy was hit by the boar monster or not, but Gabriel still would support the guy to get out. But he wasn't sure what Jack would do. Gabriel retreated backwards to get to another cover and closer to the mysterious man and flute guy. "You guys think there's someone controlling these guys? Nadska's in ruins, and... would someone do that?" He looked at the two for a moment before turning back to the enemies. Really, Gabriel wasn't even sure why someone would attack the quiet and small town of Nadska.

Or maybe it's just monsters. Who knows?

Hope you're doing well on your exams man.

Via watched as two new adventurers, she assumed, rushed towards the dungeon. She knew the feeling. Her body wanted to move faster - to hurry ang get inside already. After all, this was her first dungeon crawling experience. She turned to Amrec and gave him a thumbs up and her signature grin. "I'm not too keen on taking the back seat too much, don't worry." Via's hand curled around the hilt of her sword as they delved inside. There was a sinking feeling in her stomach - probably her nervousness acting up. No matter how excited she was, she still was aware of the consequences of going inside. She may have Amrec with her, but still.

Listening to the calming, and grounding, sounds of Amrec's armor was what occupied her as they continued down the hall. Just as they were about to reach a dead end, Kobolds began appearing through the cracks appearing at the wall in front of them. Seven of them huh? Amrec had already charged by the time Via adjusted her grip on the hilt of her sword and held onto the scabbard. The Dwarf sliced a Kobold's head off and slashed one right through its chest. Via smirked. Of course, couldn't expect anything less from a Level 3 Adventurer like Amrec. But one of the Kobolds seemed to finally notice that Amrec and Via weren't on the same level so they charged at her.

Excellent.

Taking a deep breath to calm herself, she charged forward and unsheathed her katana in the form of a slice aimed at the kobold, aiming to decapitate or at least injure the kobold seriously. Whether or not the kobold would be seriously injured or even die, she would retreat sidewards and kept an eye on anything that might attack her.
If the Triggermen decided they weren't being paid enough for this shit and bugged out, the Robobrains would ignore them.

Just being armed wouldn't automatically be seen as an aggressive action, but if one of them stepped up to Isabel and pointed a gun in her face, that would be met with lethal force.

It would be funny if the Triggermen saw her and just - she got robots, let Hancock deal with her.

Gabriel ducked down as a skeleton swung its sword at him and then he bashed it down with his bow - which held together even after the impact. It did send the skeleton's head flying though, which he was thankful for. He took an arrow out of his quiver and shoved it into another skeleton's head, and then pulled it out once more. He then nocked it back and shot down another skeleton. Gods, no matter how many he puts down, more just keep on popping up.

He heard two more rumbles - and now he saw three giants. The undead boar, an orc and a... a living tree? What were they called again? Golems... ah, Forest Golems! The latter two were friendlies though, as they helped plow down the undead that were attacking. Well, that was certainly helpful. However, he saw the Forest Golem barrel straight into a building and destroy it - leaving the being dazed.

Gabriel heard another set of screaming. He grabbed one of his arrows from one of the dead skeletons and then jabbed it inside one of the skeletons again. It was good that they weren't as good as bandits or something. He then looked over to where the North Gate is - or was, at that point, as it was brought down by the undead. Back at the harbor, it seemed rather chaotic as well. The undead really is invading. Necromancers, probably. Ugh, necromancers.

He spotted Jack making his way to the Church - the holy grounds that they seemed to be intent on going to. The merchant started making his way towards the area as well, avoiding most of the giants. Jack was intent on stopping the boar creature, and Gabriel figured that the man would have a better chance in taking down the beast than he would be with his bow and arrow. However, he decided to play support. He took aim at one of the archers on top of the boar and released arrow after arrow in hopes to at least put down their numbers so the other wouldn't be rained on with arrows.

So, Kurvia's first day on the job. And, she started out a bit too early. After meeting up with Kagu-Tsuchi, and him giving her some pep talk, she was already off for the courtyard. Having already eaten, she was simply waiting there for her partner. Her god had insisted that she act as the supporter for a more experienced familia member, and she had no qualms about it. She did plan on just being a supporter. Of course, this did mean that she brought along some supplies so that she could repair his weaponry should it break.

Of course, she had done her own research about her partner. Amrec. Actually, she didn't need to look very far. Being one of the Level 3 members of the Familia, she already knew of him. And being the Dwarven Berserker, that went on double. Via was giddy with excitement. Not only would she finally step onto a dungeon, but she was also accompanying an experienced adventurer like Amrec.

"You look ready to go into the dungeon lass! Not every-day you get to follow the great Amrec into battle!"

Her eyes sparkled with excitement as she spun around to look at the Dwarf. As expected, he looked like most of his kin and favored axes. Via grinned at her companion and brought her hand up in a mock salute. "It's an honor, Amrec!" She jokingly said as well. Easing up, she placed her hands inside her pockets. "Really looking forward to it. Shall we go?" She seemed to have calmed down and then looked towards the dungeon. There were a lot of others who seemed to be first timers as well. Ooh, she wondered if she would bump into them later and maybe even team up? Different Familia or not, they all needed to help each other in a place where they could actually die, like the dungeon.
Yep, discord sounds good to me.
