Still around.
Damn, thought this would have more interest!

Manifest Destiny?

Sounds more appropriate although it might get confused with that Bungie Shooter game of the same name.
I'm interested, glad to be working with you @Polybius!

Glad to have you. Now let's come up with a better name for this RP :)

Darkest Space...

The universe is expanding, racing towards its own inevitable heat death. What joy, what wonder to be alive at such a time! Mankind, a progenitor race from a long-dead planet has multiplied and evolved in a myriad of ways making contact with thousands of species across the galaxy. The Omkla Ygar Empire wages war, not for profit or glory, but for the lulz. Hyklian courts argue pedantically while their kingdoms burn. Tears in the very fabric of space have become a concern for all whilst Ilgjessi Chrononauts steal entire centuries and rule them as their very own fiefdoms...

Payday, The Princess & You Idiots

Mercenaries hired by a shadowy corporate figure are contracted to steal the Omkla Ygar Freighter "Gargatha" and abduct a Hyklian Scions Daughter being escorted to Ygar II for trial (and most likely execution). The Ygar are known for there ruthless rule, disregard of human life and overall nastiness. It is a tought job, but the payment agreed upon could set each of you up with your own ship and crew.

Sample Characters:

Araba Tarque , Hyklian Mercenary

Veteran of the Three Days War, Mr. Tarque is a Hyklian scion of questionable moral dignity. He carries a dueling sabre powered by Sun Slugs from Psokos IV. His tongue has been forked and his skin stretched and tied and bolted per Hyklian Scion custom. His family crest tattoo has been mysteriously burned off. Tarque is gruff, but even tempered. His duty is to the task at hand. He is not fond of Humans.

Jacobi Delt, Human Progeny

Jacobi Delt is a descendant of the original race of man, tall and dark. His bones have thinned from a life spent in space and bears the surgical scars of alloy and polymer skeletal reinforcement. His homeworld, Flavius II was ruled by the tyrannical Omkla Ygar Empire for 41 standard cycle years. The peaceful people of Flavious were subjected to diabolical bio-experiments. After the occupation (some emperor was overthrown or some such Ygar nonesense) ended, Jacobi Delt left his homeworld to track down the Royal Bio-wizards that had subjected him and his family to horrific experiments.

Corla Ipah'fa

Half human, Half Tswami Psion, Corla is a trained in Fo'Pa'la'Nia (the death of all things) a martial discipline that induces maximum pain to the opponent. Corla is running from a trio of Tswami Synthetics with ties to the UBER_AI.exe crime syndicate she pissed off. She is currently traveling under the alias of "Myra Burke", a recently released corporate tech-drone. Her shipmates suspect she is not who she says she is.

The Ship

What a tub you think as you download the engineering report. Atlas class stellar-corvette named for some shlubs dead wife. Picked up near the Andrakki minefields left over from the Laughing Wars. A skeleton of a ship, burns fuel like a double star system. Weapons systems nearly 4 centuries old, a few neutron bombs in the hold. Won't do any good on a crack-and-grab mission like this but it's better than nothing. Guidance AI is shot to shit so we'll need a pilot worth a damn. The shielding seems to be intact so that's a bonus. Ah, and what's this? Someone left a Praxis cloaking sheath on board. Almost too good to be true....She'll get you to the Ygar freighter. Then it's payday...IF you get the job done.

OOO good idea! Since people are put into the stone at different times and then they stop aging in stasis, the timeline is a little off, but I think working Romulus into the bio is kind of cool. Lets just say that Leda Orson was an actress for the Rock Bridge theater when Romulus came to the city for the first time. Maybe Leda was one of his mentors or something. Genevieve would hang around and help out backstage sometime so they may know one another, but this was back when she was 5-7 years old, until one night Leda and Genevieve packed up and left without any goodbyes. Does that sound ok with you?

Sounds good. He would have been in his late teens when he was in Rock Bridge. When he went into the stone he would have been in his mid-thirties, an utter shell of the man he once was, twisted by the torment of his cursed "Last Play". Maybe Genevieve would remind him of the humanity he once possessed?
Accepted.

Yeah, sure.

In other news, some things came up that may make it impossible to continue with this. I'll let you guys know if that happens.

Ok just let me know if this thing is still on.
Made some minor updates to my sheet. Adding bits of info on the members of the castes. And minor name change(Figured Uarshi Swarm is more fitting then Uarshi Collective.)

Wow. The Uarshi are horrifying. Come to think of it most things in this galaxy are...oh. It's called Hostile Galaxy. I get it. Very well. I guess if my Oomaloo are excepted I will RP a massive collapse of generations of Moral and Ethical devotion. Could be fun.
