Is this too dark? Just to see where I'm going with this..super WIP. Yes, the name is a pun.

Perfect for an opposition faction to my hedonists.
Considering a loose alliance of pleasure planets that secretly fund piracy across the galaxy. Maybe have something up tonight.
How far in the future is this?

Edit:just wanted to point out that computers were abolished in the dune universe. Not really pertinent to this RP but I thought it worth mentioning.
@MetalLoverThe ideas behind communism are actually very old. I mean, the ancient Greeks had the basic ideas down. But yeah, communism as an actual full system was pretty formalised by the renaissance -- especially with regards to Protestantism.

I dunno the word communism just makes me think of modern (20th) century states. I was interested in the RP because of the line " Sol-S shall basically be an attempt at turning the Milky Way into a place divided into houses similar to Medieval Europe" which makes me think of Lords, vassals and peasants. Doesn't matter however as that seems to be out the window.
Long leap between feudalism and communism.

What they said. A nice green rock or prescience inducing spice that can only be found in a few places goes a long way towards making the feudal hierarchy work galaxy-wide in an otherwise post-scarcity setting.

Yes, but is this a post-scarcity setting? Shouldn't it be an Emperor and not a United Nations? I think I'm missing something...
What are the resources to quarrel over? Seems like that's a major point of historical feudal conflict (and the Dune movie)
Still interested. But what is the plot/conflict? I'm not familiar with the NRP concept here on these forums-it seems to be a bunch of different characters that one person plays as?
Removed @Crucibles character because he is inactive and hasn't responded to my PMs. Added @BingTheWing's character Adrien Sylvillus.

Everyone still here? Any complaints or comments/questions?
I think he means dune-like as in the whole space feudalism. Royal Houses controlling worlds and systems in the dozens or hundreds rather then patches of land.

Ah that. Cool.
