Alright, guys, so here's where we're at.

Right now we have nine completed characters. You've been very patient and you're all obviously very excited. I would absolutely love to include @Diggerton@Riptide@shaitarn and @Ghost Queen, but I recognize that in this hobby sometimes you have to cut your losses and move forwards. The four of you, please don't let me rush you, and if you've decided not to participate, that's cool too.

But as it stands I think it's time we move forwards and open the IC. It'll be up sometime in the next twelve hours. @Diggerton@Riptide@shaitarn and @Ghost Queen, if you're still interested you'd be more than welcome to join after the IC opens.

That is, unless anyone objects?

It's funny you should mention that- how you received that letter is going to be something of a plot point. The people getting you all together don't lack for resources and do have a general strategy for taking it to The Coalition. Or you could all just ignore that noise, pile into a Toyota Camry, drive to Coalition HQ in Midtown and start breaking shit. It's up to you!

Okay, folks, thought I'd give you an update on where we stand.

We'll hold off starting for a little while, I'd like to give @Diggerton@Riptide@FantasyChic and @shaitarn some time to finish up their sheets, as well as @Ghost Queen to finish retooling.

Also, The Coalition isn't the only force you'll be fighting by any means- independent superheroes, conventional law enforcement, or even other criminals might confront you, so be prepared for that!

While I'm at it, is there anything you guys in particular think you might like to see from this RP? Themes you'd like to explore, character arcs, setting details, or even just a cool idea for an action scene? This is every bit as much your RP as mine, so don
t hesitate to make suggestions or share ideas!

Every time they fight it's basically a reenactment of Godzilla vs. Megaguirus. I like Dragonfly a lot, seems like he's going to be the muscle of the team. Accepted!

I'm so tempted to go with Psyren the lunatic with her mental powers (favourite ability: dropping the fragment of a minor pop hit into someone's head where' it'll stay for the next 24 hours, circling endlessly and forcing them to hum bits of the tune at the most inopportune moments), but would it be okay if I switched my old hero Cheetah to the dark side and threw her up against Redline? Her powers are/were super speed and claws (not like Wolverine's, I'm talking steel under the fingernails retractable claws).

Whichever you prefer! Both sound great, though personally I think I'd go with Cheetah.
