The Whittaker brothers both look good. Amadeus' research might pave the path for the means to better fight the beasties, and Whalen fills a niche I hadn't thought of- someone has to be able to actually get near the damn things. He might end up being the guy to deliver some of Huan Xiao's toxins.

Take note, though, this takes place in 2019. Either their ages or DOB will need to be changed.

Like Gimple said, probably next week. I know this is a very busy time for a lot of people so I'm trying to keep things at a manageable pace for everyone. Also gives me some time to plan and give you the best possible experience.

In fact, here's a question for the wider group- given the globe-trotting aspect of this RP, are there any particular regions or locations you might like to see featured in here? Even if it's just a city you hate and want to see trashed.

Wow, you guys have been busy. I really do appreciate seeing so much enthusiasm! Let me go through one person at a time here.

@R31GN I assume we're going with the animal psychologist version to avoid having two toxicologists? At any rate, looks good, I think Dirk will be a valuable member of the team. Go ahead and post yourself under the CS tab.

@Jangel13 I like the character, I just have a couple of notes. One, I just need his rank if he's active duty military. Lieutenant is probably appropriate for what you're describing.

Two, 21 is just way too young. Even if he's some kind of child prodigy, graduating college and getting a commission in the Army Corps of Engineers at that age is just unlikely. Not to mention becoming Lead Engineer on an undertaking this size- no matter how much of a genius you might be that won't happen without some practical experience under your belt.

@datadogie Knight looks good. Always good to have a pilot handy. Go ahead and add her to the character sheet.

@KaijuBaragon Huan looks good. A little young, perhaps, but I assume his personal experience with kaiju gave him the dedication other applicants might lack. Poison is a good anti-kaiju weapon, tricky part is just the delivery system. Feel free to add him to the character sheet.

Also, thanks for the pics! The Goya painting was meant more as a placeholder until I found something better, but it seems you've spared me the search.

Name: Malcolm "Colm" Davies

Backstory: Colm Davies comes from a family of cops- his father, uncles, and brothers all wear badges. Very recently promoted to Homicide, Davies is determined to prove himself. However, this "tickle monster" case might be a little much for an inexperienced rookie detective.

Theory on deaths/sighting of tickle monster of child: Davies is not a believer in the paranormal. He firmly believes they're dealing with just a regular human serial killer. A demented, monstrous human, to be fair, and one who is in possession of some kind of weapon or equipment they don't quite understand just yet.

I know it's pretty short, just let me know if anything requires expansion.
