@RennyI've just never been that interested in the Sentai. I grew up with Power Rangers, so that's what I like. The creative and budget restrictions can be grating, though. From the snippets of Sentai I've seen though, it definitely looks pretty good. I just can't stand not actually being able to understand what I'm listening to. Subtitles don't do it for me, hahaha.

Darn, I wasn't able to finish Jaime before lunch was up. Oh well. All I have left is to get his post-outbreak history finished and he'll be all good to go. He will definitely be done before the end of the day, I'll just have to work a little bit here and there on my break, and finish up when work is done.

In other news, I do believe that enough people have claimed interest for me to officially go forward with this. Within the next week or two I'll be posting the actual RP thread with all the rules and sign-up. I'll link to it here, but keep an eye out, friends. ;D

@KoukiWith as much thought as I have put into this so far, not all the details are fully fleshed out yet. The whole point of this thread was to make sure that I'd have enough players to actually warrant putting in the rest of the work before jumping off with it, but things are looking promising. And no, they won't be cell phones. Ugh. Waaaaay too damn many cell phone morphers. I hate that.

It won't be a first come, first serve sort of deal. I will be taking multiple applicants per spot, if more than one person is interested, and will determine who gets the role based on who I think is better suited for the part.

@Wade Wilson Samurai was not good, but I found it bearable (at least until we got the incredibly disrespectful sexism there in the end). Megaforce... Is definitely my all time most hated season and I despise it. But Dino Charge has been very good. I've enjoyed it a lot.

@PrinceofheartsI am so glad you asked! No. I will not be placing gender restrictions on the colors. Unfortunately that's something that the show can't really change due to its dependence on the Sentai footage, but I have never believed in that. Want a male pink ranger? Go for it. Female red? By all means!

@Stern AlgorithmIn an oppressive world where even the very lights are designed to be bleak and cause a draining effect on the populace, the Strike Force teams costumes will be brightly colored with accents of neon to inspire the people. Additionally, the weapons of the Rangers will be made of hard light constructs (think Green Lantern style). Light plays a huge and important role here. The costumes themselves will look very streamlined and space inspired due to how these particular ranger powers were made. The mentor figure is going to be a middle manager for Galatec secretly working against them. Galatec is large enough that they've encountered other ranger teams on other worlds before, and they have won, thus confiscating their tech. So the mentor cobbled together what he (or she!) can from the remnants of past alien rangers.
