@Dawnscroll I don't believe that it does include you. The original time was setup for the two competing firebenders, and now apparently this third avatar hopeful, and that one was communicated through private messaging. You submitted the first half of your non-bender after the time limit was placed on the above individuals, so I don't think you're held to that same restriction. That said, originally we had a butt ton of people wanting the non-bender spot, and now you're only the second applicant, so I imagine either the GM will be pestering the people that expressed interest in the interest check thread, or will give you a deadline to compare with our Kyoshi warrior.
Just my own line of reasoning, though. GM could be acting totally differently from my understanding.
