@WanderBug Nicely done. Similar but opposites in many ways. Both female, but yours is androgynous while mine is very feminine. Yours is humble while mine is proud. Yours can lose focus, daydream, while mine is staunchly focused at all times. Yours likes the hard sciences, while mine is attuned to the social sciences.

I expect you're right. On the other hand I believe the benders are harder to create (the avatar being a total bitch) since you hve to think about more stuff. The non-bender is relatively easy. At least that's how it seems to me.

I would disagree and say it's probably the opposite, actually. All styles of bending are still the same basic concept, so you're just throwing varying personalities and histories behind a general ability. Non-benders, as you mentioned in the above quote, have to find ways to contend with an unfair supernatural disadvantage, and they have a toooon of options available to them, from different kinds of martial arts to hundreds of different weapons, strategies, and the like. Are they spiritual at all? Are they something of a beast master? Adaptive thinker? More traditional military tactician? There's more options than I can count, really.

@Dawnscroll Only the spots for a waterbender and airbender instructor have ben taken, leaving a non-bender, firebender, earthbender, and the avatar, all of which have some healthy competition. I myself threw my hat in for the avatar.
