Nic was prepared to exit the car and start asking around. They had oh so little in terms of intel, and the only way they could learn more was to ask around the town. Social places, Schools, Hotels, cafes, any place would suffice. The town was only so large, and eventually they could set up their web and get cracking on what happened.
Just as he began to reach for the handle of the door, Cassie engaged the lock and cast a glance at her CO. Of course he would look back at her to see what was on her mind, but it didn't take any sort of conversation to figure out where she was thinking. She loved her spy movies and spy toys. It was no secret that she just wanted to sit around and look imposing until someone talked to them. However, that could take a while. Who knows how long it would be until someone finally decided to walk up to the ultra fancy, cherry red supercar with black tinted windows with a former hollywood actor and a young, wet behind the ears agent at side. Neither said anything, and the volume of the radio was increased only slightly. Maybe they could take a look around other places in the town if the school lacked leads.

Trying to work on a post, but I'm not entiely sure where everyone is at and what they're doing, so while I can make a post just between Nic and Cass, It wouldn't really take either of them anywhere. Plus, because it's a mystery murder, y characters only know what little I myself know.
@BCTheEntityIf there's anything that you need help on regarding the show, I'm sure that we can fill you in if you don't have the time to watch the 70+ episodes of the series. What you've given us is pretty much all you need to know, but again, we can fill you in if need be.
There are a few things that You'll need to know, like what's happening at the moment that you jump in, but given the context of the characters, you should be fine without a recap, unless you would like one, that is. Yeah, we've stayed up until the crack of dawn in all of our respective time zones to post as much as physically possible, and we are currently in our second Bulk, as I like to call it.
While I'm trying to help, I can't speak of Kronshi or Akaya on your character idea. I had the idea of an elderly man who knew about the gems, and befriended a gem long ago to learn about them, but the idea was shut down for various reasons.
If the idea is passed, what if your character had some sort of map? If they are a gem-human hybrid, then I'm sure that things were left to them since the gem would have been required to abandon their physical form to create the hybrid. Maybe a map to the Kindergartens, and your character is just doing rounds in a desperate attempt to find some new gems or anything that could help them?

@HaltingBlooperIts the same reason we have so much 90's nostalgia, people are bitter and unwilling to let go of the past. It divides people.
dang, it was a cute episode, but it didn't even end with a little star. That's how we know it's serious. Also nice to see that Peridorito is getting a redemption arc, hopefully the Big Buff Cheeto Puff is next on the list.
