Welp, let's see if this Digimon RP will go through XD

Considering trying to re-run a digimon RP that didn't really take off. Dunno though. Digimon rp's are met typically with a terrible fate. :l

Hello. . . Umm, I'm Pyro. How do you do? I'm not really sure about what to say. XD

I like lots of the less serious (especially Ecchi ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) ) anime out there and super actiony games. I rather like Touhou and Hyperdimension Neptunia too! If you want to talk about those at all send me a PM or something!

As worried as she was about these Shadow creatures, Mari was much more currently worried about her footing in running down the mountain. Those other worries came right to her though, with a shadowy figure appearing in front of her. Taking the beings as no good, Mari swiftly brought her knee up and hit it. . . Where a human's stomach would be, slightly knocking it up in the air and flowed into hammering into its head with her hands joined together, spiking it right into the ground.

Seeing potential, she hopped on it and rode the body down like a sled, with a lot more bumbs going down than if there were snow, to be sure. Eventually sliding to an immediate stop. . . Very abruptly into a building. Braced against the building, it took a second and then Mari stepped off the now-not-moving shadow creature. About ready to rush off, she gave it a last good kick to make sure it wouldn't do anything. At least her hope was these things had a similar point breaking down due to damage as a human did. If so, she'd have likely utterly decimated the thing.

After turning her back on the thing she was greeted with the nice warming embrace of a giant blinding light. Closing her eyes quickly was the best thing she could do to reply quickly to the bright stimulus. "Not that I don't like the light or anything. . ." Something made a sound behind her, it didn't sound entirely human. . . Somehow. Going with her judgement, and possibly self preservation, she spun around and kicked high. It connected, and whatever it was smashed right into the stone structure practically right behind her. Able to see again, there was a second of the shadow creatures almost flat as a pancake against the wall. "Glad I'm as strong as an ogre." The woman said, quickly making a move to the rest of her current allies.

Fires raged around as Mari continued forward. There were quite a few of her allies seemingly working together. The one that caught her eye the most was the short haired woman with the shield that seemed to be asking for help. Perhaps she was just giving orders like one would do to soldiers. At the least it seemed to work for now.

Still, these shadow creatures seemed to not stop whatsoever with three of them showing up around her. "Really now. . . Tell me what you all are doing here. I might even relent." No answer from the shadows of course, still she thought it was worth a try. "That's ummm, expected I suppose." One of the shadows slashed at her with it's dark blade. She quickly grabbed the beings arm and watched as another one thrusted at her. She pulled the shadow she had a grip on into the strike, letting it be a practical shield for her as the dark blade pierced the body. She kicked the two shadows away with one hit then turned to the last one. It wasn't waiting for her though as it was already charging her and very close to striking her. She ducked into the shadow and rammed into it with her shoulder. The being was knocked back slightly and seemingly slightly dazed giving Mari a small enough amount of time to bring her fist in a great blow against. . . What would be it's jaw. It flew up into the air and the came back down right into the extending fist of Mari sending it flying horizonatally a little before rolling out and stopping quickly.

The other two returned soon after striking at her again. She of course dodged both blows, "You guys are tenacious. Just take a rest for me." Quickly she stuck one of them into the ground and turned to the other giving a quick succession of blow after blow before delivering one last blow against the creature. It simply collapsed and all of the shadows she fought were now gone. "I suppose I should help the others now."

She made her way up to where the shieldmaiden woman was and the few others with her. It took a bit more than usually to take out these shadows, perhaps it was best to stay with the others. "Greetings fellows. I'm here to help."
What's everyone up to? :D
All is quiet, how is everyone?

Really???? I thought I did a good job of simplifying it all.

I'm just really not so good at sciencey things. To me, it sounds like a really really hot air balloon. Without the balloon part I suppose. XD
MOAR SCIENCE!!!
VASIMR stands for VAriable Specific Impulse Magnetoplasma Rocket! It is comprised of several different components. First and foremost is the fuel injection system which, just like it sounds, injects fuel into the system. The fuel injection system is connected to a quartz tube which carries the fuel (Hydrogen or Helium) through the engine until it passes though a coil called a Helicon Antenna which strips the Hydrogen/Helium atoms of electrons so they become ionized atoms.

At this point the ionized gas has left the quartz tube and is contained by an electromagnetic field produced by several superconducting magnetic coils that form a cylindrical barrier for the ionized gas to pass through. That's the 'Magneto' part of Magnetoplasma but there still isn't any plasma!

Plasma exists as super heated gas and is most notably found in fusion reactions (like inside of a star). In order for the ionized gas to become plasma it has to become SUPER heated. To do that you need the last component of the VASIMR engine. The ICRH Antenna, which I honestly don't even fully understand how it works, heats the ionized gas into plasma at many millions of degrees Kelvin.

As we all know, a gas will always try to expand to fill it's container and the same is true for plasma, so as the newly formed plasma tries it's best to expand it starts to put itself under enormous pressure. Remember the Magnetic field that keeps all the gas and plasma in one place? It has an opening at the rear of the engine. That means that all the force of the super heated plasma will escape through that opening and burst out of the engine propelling the spacecraft forward.

The amount of thrust generated through this method is almost entirely dependant on the temperature at which the plasma is heated. Hotter plasma has more energy and more energy equals more thrust. Conversely, cooler plasma has less energy and therfore less thrust. So the way that a VASIMR engine varies it's throttle is by adjusting the intensity of the ICRH Antenna which heats the plasma.

Soo. . . . This is all Greek to me jajaja
Just ignore that last post.... wrong thread.

I was wondering XD. I thought it was funny though, if that makes you feel better.
It was a bit boring. Kirei had only been at it for like, what? Two? Three hours? No one interesting had gone by and her mark wasn't doing anything. . . Irreputable. Not openly at least. She was sitting in the park, seemingly waiting for someone. "'While I'm at work she seems to be doing something behind my back. . .' he says. Just people watching. Like me. Waiting for a friend as well." She muttered to herself. It was easily October now, slightly cooler than had been a few months ago. A few months ago. . . She almost thought back on that time, when her mark suddenly stood up. The woman was a non-human, though what kind Kirei didn't know. Just that her husband had thought she was cheating on him or something. Well, if she was Kirei didn't think it was too bad. If he was that overprective of her that he hired a PI to keep an eye on her for a week, well Kirei would definitely want to keep her didstance from the man too.

Still, she just seemed to be meeting up with a woman. A friend, really. The two had met the last two days as well. They then went to the coffee shop right across the street from where Kirei lived. That's mostly why Kirei thought the woman was at least non-human, seeing as most of the customers at the shop were, in fact, non-humans. Unsurprisingly, they went the same place again. She didn't need to follow them in the store though. Her time to watch them for the day was just about up and previous study told her that they would just stay and gossip at the cafe. "I suppose I can just follow them home, seeing as it takes me to the same place." She followed the two, at a distance of course. Couldn't have them know she was there.

However, on the way she saw the Llama behind the cafe across the street from her house. Perhaps he was out on a morning run? Or something at least. Wanting to not seem impolite, she spoke up and greeted him. "Good morning, Simon." The woman said with a slight bow, show off her cultural background. Since coming over from the island nation, she found that having contact with others was a good thing over-all. Contact with others that wasn't about finding food for the future that is. "Enjoying your running?" She continued with a question. She didn't care all too much, but it was the way she found conversation worked over here.

@Spawnling
Sorry it took me so long. I forced it out a little bit, but it came out fine I think.
The Orb took Mari on a trip she was sure she had done multiple times before. Down a long winding road, through hills, forests and other things too. "Oh my, we're close to home aren't we?" She said to the orb that kept floating away and away towards where-ever it was taking her. "Perhaps we could head to the temple for a few?" It has been a while since she had tried the monk's special brew and wanted to drink the delightful stuff. The Orb didn't seem too wholely opposed to it, though the same could be said that the orb was for it either. After all, it was just a floating orb. It would be a bit difficult to read it's thoughts or emotions if it had any.

She made the trip quick since the orb just followed her for a bit. Tell the elders what was happening with her, give her hellos and goodbye to the other monks and nuns, then finally grab a whole barrel full of the preferred drink of the monks of the mountain. Sharing a quick drink with the makers before she left, she made her way to where the orb was leading her with a barrel tied to her back and mug in her hand. Eventually, she came upon where the orb wanted her to be. She only really guessed that since there were so many other orbs there, people as well. Many of them she recognized, somehow or another she had seen them in her travels. The others spoke a little bit before she had a chance. But all of that was pointless when one of the others had noticed something. . .

"A fire?" She asked aloud. She could see it was a fire, really. She was just a little tipsy so she needed to make sure. In a town no less, more likely than not, there were people in danger in that case. She couldn't do much about the fire, but she needed to make sure the people were okay one way or another, didn't she? Forgetting the barrel on her back, she took off down the cliff mountain towards the town. At this point, she wasn't really afraid of much be it through her physical ability or the fact that she was a little drunk.
Sorry I've been absent for posts. I'll get one up tonight after work.
