Phoebe two forms bear a fair amount of similarity. Her amber eyes change to a brighter color and the left eye develops a ‘star’ shape within the iris. Her fair grows longer, dividing out into two long tails hanging down her back. Her outfit becomes more ornate, with the interior flap shifting colors constantly to match that of a nebula. Still, in both her forms, Phoebe stands at 5’4” tall with a rather athletic build. Her naturally warm-yet-quiet personality shifts to be a louder, more confident type. Still warm, the confidence of Ouranos can be heard in her easy-going jests and even casual flirts with others. Yet despite this outgoing confidence, one does not need to push hard to find the flaws in her personality. 

Afterall… it is hard to be so sure of yourself when you’re so new to the job.





Under the effect of Dan's magic, her lovely space-themed outfit had shifted into a rather flattering bikini that hugged her curves rather tightly. She looked every bit the part of an idol on a beach vacation. Her hair had been braided into a single braid that nearly reached her rear, and a jewelry chain wrapped around her midsection. A small sunhat sat atop her head to complete the look. Most infuriatingly, however, the trio of Tungsten spheres that Phoebe had referred to as her ‘Meteorites’ all were turning into beach balls!

Phoebe is a known persona in this world, but not as an esper. That part, if very much new to the girl. Instead, Phoebe is known more to the masses as Astra, a rising Idol known for her energetic pop music. Selling out shows, avoiding paparazzi, and doing late-night tv interviews were all that danced about her mind in recent years. Certainly nothing about the possibility of magic or monsters existing within the world. Such stories were preposterous, nothing more than just that… stories to keep children from misbehaving at night. At least… that was what she had believed for so many years. 

Until the night everything changed. 

Just outside the hotel room she’d been staying in during a stop in Pax Septimus, a brilliant light flared through the glass doors… borderline blinding the young Idol. Upon a nervous, timid investigation of the balcony… a strange black sphere with floating lights circling it floated harmlessly at eye level. No bigger than a necklace pendant, the object captivated Phoebe’s mind. Almost as if it were… calling to her. Beckoning her forward. So lost in the strange beauty of this object, Phoebe didn’t even realize she was moving until her hand made contact with the object… and she was blinded by a brilliant, violent light. The scream in her lungs dying before it could even be uttered, and the poor Idol collapsing unconscious to the cold stone of her room’s balcony. 

Only to wake hours later, wind whistling through her hair. Under her. Her eyes searched around in foggy confusion until a sudden realization shot the girl awake. She’d felt the breeze underneath herself, despite her prone position. Her gaze snapping down, Phoebe’s eyes widened with the realization that she was hovering. Her outfit had changed entirely from the loungewear she’d been in when stepping out onto the balcony before. Now, the scream did emerge from her lips, one of shock and confusion. The first reaction of a girl suddenly thrust into the world of magic and monsters. 

In the two months since that incident, Phoebe very quickly found herself learning so many new truths about the world. Of the Factions vying for their solution to monsters, of the monsters themselves, and of her own magical capabilities. She was… an esper. That was the term. A sort of… witch, and many like herself existed in this world. Most, it seemed to her, chose to fight monsters and use their magic to help others. A goal which Phoebe found herself wishing she could contribute to, and found herself practicing her magic and leading a triple life. Phoebe, the girl behind the Idol. Astra, the Idol. Ouranos, the newly-created Esper. Afterall, it was nice to have a life to retreat to and pretend there wasn’t terrible, awful monsters lurking around every corner…

Two months into her training, the world changed once more. Pax Septimus suddenly became a beach paradise. Her magical outfit and the trio of tungsten orbs transitioning into a swimsuit and beach balls respectively. A change that seemed so strange and sudden, it had taken Phoebe nearly three days to adjust to this new reality… and decide to enjoy some time in the sun. A decision she’d barely even gotten to enjoy before her world suddenly changed once more. In a blur of flashing light and violent noise, the Esper had found herself now within the metallic confines of a cell. On a spaceship no less, held prisoner by none other than an honest-to-god alien. 

Yet she refused to stay. 

While the hours and days blended together, her sense of time lost as a captive, Phoebe found her escape. Over an indeterminable time practicing, the Esper finally managed to use her magic to hurl a small object through the side of the spacecraft. Then once again applying her magic, the forces of gravity itself tore the hull open… allowing the escape of the captured Esper. 

One that proved to be less than graceful, as the missing Idol found herself tumbling from the ship… Freefalling into an unknown circumstance.

But at least she was free once again.
