Current Man, I remember those last few statuses sounding funnier when I was writing them... Is this what aging does to people?

Good news, I'm not failing out of my cooking course tomorrow! Bad news, it's only because I nearly sliced a chunk off my finger practicing for it and needed stitches.

Also, I have a question. You said that the teachers from the series will still be around, so I guess Spirit will still be there. That makes me wonder though, do Maka and Soul and all the rest of the kiddos still exist in this version and just aren't the focal point, or does Spirit just not have a kid now, or a different kid? It's not really a big thing either way, but I started thinking about it and now I can't stop wondering.
Boom, here's my app! Hope its good! Tell me if it sucks!
Edit: can everyone else see the picture? Because it might just be my phone, but I can't see the picture I put up for his appearance.

Zander Branc

Name
Zander Branc

Nickname/Alias
Zan, Blank, Acrofat.

Age
Sixteen

Gender
Male

Race
Demon Weapon

Appearance
Whether you mean his height or his stomach, Zander is someone you'd be hard pressed to not call... well, large. Somehow, this manages to consistently increase, despite eating relatively healthily. His skin is ever so slightly dark, and he rarely dresses in anything other than Hawaiian shirts, cargo shorts and sandals.

Personality
Zander is a fairly laid back, optimistic person. It is rare for him to not be smiling, and he tends to try and go out of his way to lighten everyone else's moods as well.

However, if there's one thing that annoys him, its when something interrupts or otherwise cuts into his relaxation time, which in his own words, is unquestionably sacred. He values sleep and rest heavily, and anyone who gives him too much sass about it will quickly learn what it's like to be on the bad side of a guy who is built like a hippo, moves like a spider monkey, and constantly tries to bury his anger.

Backstory
Zander's life, when compared to many others, has actually been fairly tame. Shortly after his birth, his parents, a skilled weapon and meister couple, died while on a mission. This led to his placement in an orphanage, where he was closely watched by employees of the DWMA just in case he turned out to be a demon weapon like his mother.

Sure enough, that turned out to be the case, and he quickly got taken in by Sid Barrett, who had been close friends with his parents. Over the years, Sid helped him learn to control his abilities, as well as teaching him how to fight somewhat effectively without needing to become a weapon.

When he finally ended up joining the academy proper, people quickly learnt that he was surprisingly capable despite his large size and blatant laziness.

Partner Name
You fill this out once we make partners in the actual thread.

Weapon Form
Three-section spear

Weapon Form Description
Zander looks like a simple, yet very large three section spear. His blades are curved, similar to a naginata, and each section is around two metres long. It is also entirely possible to retract his chains, connecting the three sections to use him like a normal double-bladed spear.

Miscellaneous Abilities/Skills
He is surprisingly agile considering his size and weight, leading to him being given the nickname Acrofat.

He is capable of transforming his arms into the two bladed sections of his staff form, chains included, allowing him to fight even without his meister. However, he prefers not to do this, however, as the way they hang from the chains can make it difficult to properly control, and he worries he might accidentally hurt himself or someone else.

He is a startlingly good cook.

Soul Resonance

Extra
He tends to use either a monkey motif or a Hawaiian shirt style flower motif in a lot of his things.
Hey, big soul eater fan, definitely gonna make an app for this one.
Alright, well here's my app then. I was wondering if its possible to have more than one FNG, or at least another person similar, because I know there's already Sisyphus's character, but I'd already thought of a lot of stuff about this character before I saw it. Also, I know you said the FNG would start with an MAS of your choice, but I was wondering if I could have the one in this app be the one he could get later.

Appearance:

Sorry if the picture is a bit to anime-ish, I just couldn't seem to find one that wasn't anime or a photo. Also, his hair isn't actually white, just blonde, and his eyes are brown.

Name: Moore, Joseph

Age: 21

Gender: Male

Callsign: Junior, as his father is an admiral in the Imperial Navy.

Kills: 0

Psychological Analysis: Joseph is the kind of person who, in most circumstances, would never be accepted into the military, let alone as a front line fighter. In most normal situations, he is shy, nervous, and prone to anxiety attacks. This is only exacerbated when people are counting on him specifically, as he believes he is going to let them down no matter how hard he tries.

However, behind the controls of a MAS, his demeanour goes through a complete transformation. He calms down completely, able to make complex manoeuvres and choices in mere moments, and his ridiculous attention to detail shines through in a way that tends to be completely buried normally. However, he still feels that he needs to prove himself while in the suit, so as to show that he is a part of the 101st on his own merits, not those of his father.

Military Record:
Joseph Moore is a boy who has had pressure put on him since childhood. His father, Hewett Moore, is a skilled and well known admiral in the Imperial Navy, and has had extremely high hopes for Joseph, spending a lot of his money and spare time on bringing out his potential.

Unfortunately, all of the pressure from his fathers hopes served to push him into a state of potential anxiety, as he repeatedly failed to meet Hewett's expectations. Sure, he was talented enough as a fighter, but his naturally passive, anxious personality prevented him from putting that talent to effective use. Time after time, he embarrassed himself in front of his father and any of his colleagues who happened to be helping supervise, and each failure only served to shatter his confidence further.

Now, unlike many might expect, Hewett never showed any disappointment in Joseph, always quietly encouraging him and remaining positive. However, this only made things worse, as it made Joseph feel terrible guilt for failing his father. However, it also kept him from simply giving up, constantly searching for a chance to meet his father expectations at something, anything, even though he was sure deep down that his father no longer had any for him. Still, his father kept giving him chances, unable to bring himself to hurt the son he realised he had created.

And then, finally, Josephs efforts were rewarded.

When the imperial navy began implementing MAS's, Joseph requested a chance to see if he could pilot one effectively. Naturally at this point, no one really believed he'd be able to. Not even Joseph himself thought it would make a difference.

And then he got behind the controls, and transformed.

No one, not his father, not the other officers, not even Joseph, could believe what was happening. However, no one could deny that Joseph was, for all intents and purposes, a completely different person to the usual nervous wreck once he got into the cockpit. In fact, the common consensus was that he appeared to be made for this. Almost immediately after getting out, he was offered a place in the pilot training program. It was here that they learnt that his new confidence didn't last once he exited the MAS, but if they could get back the surprisingly competent pilot they saw in the exercise, then it was worth it.

Equipment: A small holdout pistol

Appearance:

Designation: M100 Astra C

Role: Scouting/Sniper

Chassis: Light, 15 weight, 10 power

Engine: Twin core power system, 10 power.

Description: The Astra is an MAS designed specifically to get into a good position, take a few shots, and then move on. It carries a high powered sniper rifle, which if not for its sonar stakes locking itself to the ground, would likely push it over backwards with the recoil alone. That's not to say that it can't take a hit, however, as in an unusual move for a light MAS, the Astra utilises heavy armour plating. It also has a small composite shield built into its right arm, which is mostly used to deflect melee weapons.

Internal upgraded targeting suite

I'd probably be interested.
Ok, so wait, is there still room in this? Because I'm super interested, but I get the feeling this would've filled up pretty much immediately with just five slots...

Mine are just comfortable.
Though when the event we are planning. We'll thr family will be in more detail and we'll, put on a damn good show :)

Yeah, later on I'm planning to bring them in somehow, and have them completely different to the strict, resentful image Joseph has of them.
If you wanna be technical about it, Joseph is technically the current heir to some undecided form of ridiculously rich family in the form of his maternal grandparents. He's just never met them, and is actively trying to keep away from them.
