4 months into this hole 'being a responsible adult thing' and I've come to a conclusion: It sucks and I want to go back to the days where I didn't have to plan out my game time.

"I'll admit that I underestimated the defensive abilities of Groudon, and possibly overestimated it's attack power. Either way, I thank you for helping us out, Lady Terrane." John said with another just low enough bow. "As for the rumors, please don't judge me too harshly in saying this, but I much crave it. To be able take my mace and smite those Lugerian dogs would bring me no small amount of pleasure. Speaking of Lugere, I wish to ask of you a question. Do you know of any house that is represented by the legendary pokemon, Darkrai, or possible locations where Darkrai is rumored to lurk. The reason I ask is that I have a *personal* matter with the pokemon, but I have yet to find any concrete information on it, aside that it is most likely to reside in Lugere." While John would never admit this, his inability to gather decent information was mostly due to his inability to read much more than the most basic of vernacular. The monks who had raised him hadn't put much faith in the written word, and he had been to focused on learning how to fight until recent years. He had tried to get a teacher out of the nobles, but they had quit trying soon after due to not being able to handle him. Anyway, he figured that the lady of a higher noble house like Terrane would be able to give him better information than the servants and squires back at home. **Fang, Drakescale Island, equidistant from the coasts of Lugere and Ayero** Fang was currently patroling the northern cliffside of the island, thinking about the outcome of the last clan meeting. It was official now, they had to find a new home. They had grown to large and the island couldn't sufficiently support the clan for much longer. They had at most another year before people began to have trouble finding food, and a couple months after that for the starving to set in. It had been decided that she would take a group to one of the two lands, Lugere and Ayero, for a place for them to live. What ever place she chooses, a different group would head to the othe land, led by the hunting leader, Shane. She was leaving the clan in the hands of the spritual leader, Shaman Maelida. She was going in a grouo of three, te other group will be one of four. It was taking away a lot of the clan's best warriors, but she didn't fear much, as this settlement was unknown to humans, as only flying, rock, and ground type pokemon could live here, as it was more likea plateau in the midfle of the sea than an island. All the edges were sheer cliffs with a very long drop to the bottom. Their were ways to get on the island without flying, but they were hidden by nature and guarded very well. Still, she worried about leaving the clan, but she knew it could survive without her for a few months. Fang turned her eyes to the horizon, wondering where to go. Ayero had nice weather, but it didn't have much in the way of mountains that her people preferred. Lugere eas cold, which they could deal with, but it had a harsher view against Morphs than Ayero. Plus, she would rather not risk falling into the hands of House Umbraisis again. She shivered in the memory of her years of imorisonment and slavery. Looks like Ayero was the winner, she'd head back and inform the others. If they hurried with their flight, they could be in Ayero within the next hour. After that, it was just a matter of not getting caught.
"My first opinion is that I you burst into our conversation and you have yet to even tell us your name. That is what one might call rude. My second opinion is that I do what ever the hell I can get away with, whether that be sneaking stink bombs into my neighbors bathroom, or hacking into someone guy's facebook and set up links to multiple websites of dubious content. My final opinion is how the hell did you get Sal to not be quiet with out saying a word, does it have something to do with your pretty boy face, cause that's what I'm thinking." Haiden then turned back to Sal, seemingly dismising the other guy's presence as he continued his conversation with Sal. "My sister is like a angel, a beautiful, fierce paragon of justice and morality that is always ready to strike me down with her righteous anger. And there is no such thing as over thinking, to say so proves that you just aren't thinking enough. One needs to think of every possible outcome to any scenario, think of all possible meanings to all sentences. How else do you think I am able to get away with everything I do, I never stop thinking about things that could happen."
Jackson's constant smirk widened into a predatory grin at the woman's comment. His eye were unconciously flickering between their normal golden hazel coloring and a haunting scarlet red. "Aphosis and I will have all 3 of them singing like canaries in no time, fear is our specialty and breaking down minds our favorite hobby. Besides, I only kill two types of people, those who get in my way and those who give me a good fight. But nevermind that for know, for we have to cover a more important topic." Jackson pointed at her with a slightly dramatic flair. "You have had yet to introduce yourself, and have been the only one here not to do so. If we are to be a team, I need to be able to call you something other than 'that woman over there'."
I have added my post for Sebastian to my post for John, and I may put up a intro post for Fang soon.
Sorry guys, but I seem to have lost interest for this RP. I wish you all the best of luck, and I truly am sorry.
"Thank you very much Kiera. This is the part where I ask you to join the Vanguard, only to have you refuse. You have no idea how much your rejections way on my soul." Ash said, taking a sip of his drink. Delicious, as usual. God damn, she was a good barista. "I'll probably stop bringing recruitment up soon, as it has proven fruitless so far. But with that psycho bitch Scorn causing all that ruckus a couple months back, the government has been on my ass about catching her. Yet they offer not a lick of help when my men get attacked Syndicate, saying that they don't have the clearance or some other bullshit like that. Fucking bastards, the lot of 'em." Ash sighed, finishing off the rest of his drink in a big gulp, before tossing it easily into a near by trash can. He reached into his pocket and pulled out two things, his wallet and a pack of cigarettes. He opened the pack and took one out, lighting it with a small flame from his finger, then took a deep draw. He held it in for a little bit, then breathed out towards the ceiling. As the smoke rose, it slowly formed into little shapes, such as rings, spheres, and pyramids, before they dispersed upon contact with the ceiling. After taking another drag, Ash turned to address Eli, another Curdan Cay inmate. He didn't know him as well, having only talked to him a couple times during incarceration, but he seemed like an okay guy. "How are you doing, Eli, life going on okay for you? Anything exciting going on that you want us to know."
Name: Jackson Devani Age:24 Appearance:![Appearance](http://static.tumblr.com/0859226dbbef5b3c6ebb20c0addc694a/zqjmifv/3Hwncjjxg/tumblr_static_4h9kut55n24g8kgcgc8wwkoo8.jpg) Personality:Jackson enjoys the simple things. Time with friends, a good drink, one night stands, and his favorite thing to do, fight. He has always been the type to start stuff with people he doesn't know, and especially with people he doesn't like. Generally, however, he tries to keep that in check when on missions or during serious situations. Skills:Knife and swordplay skills are very good, and his many years of street fighting have given him a good intuition and reaction time in combat. He is also marginally good at stealth, and you'll have a hard time finding a better pickpocket than him. He sometimes uses magic to assist him in those skills, but most of the time it's just his own personal skill at it. Favorite magical types:Elemental, Corporeal, Sorcery Spells: Hunter's grace(Corporeal): A spell that allows one to have near perfect balance, alike a jungle cat. Shadow Bomb(Sorcery): A elemental spell in which Jackson lobs an orb of shadows at his enemy. Upon making contact with a physical object, the orb explodes into a dark mist. disorienting those inside. The elemental power of fear can be add in to cause those inside to hallucinate, but it can be rather draining Summoning Aphosis: A rather taxing spell, and one of last resort, it allows Jackson to summon Aphosis through his sword to attack his enemies. Aphosis, being a spirirt of Drakness and the Fear of the Predators that reside in it, can take the shape of many animals that hunt at night, like wolves and hyeneas for example. He could do more, but jackson is not at that level to support those abilities with out keeling over. They share a bond of friendship, which shall be explained in the background. Fear inducement(Sorcery): A spell that strikes fear in Jackson's enemies, making them flee in terror in his presence. Only works on mages of his level and below, with the weaker mages fleeing in terror, and the stronger ones only being unnerved by him. Spear of the Shadowed Night(Sorcery): A spear made of pure shadow and fear, harms not the flesh of those it hits, but the mind. It slowly corrupts the foundation of their sanity, until they go mad. A spell with the long term in mind, very tiring, used mostly on strong enemies that he expects to see again. But since those enemies are stronger than him, the spell has a chance of not working. Shadow shards(Sorcery):A mixed range spell, it allows Jackosn to form and manipulate shards of solid shadow to use as a weapon, either for rapid, low damage close range attacks, or powerful, but slow to charge long range shots. Magical Items: A blade that stands that connects Aphosis to this plane, has a black blade and can shift into 3 forms: Katana, Longsword, and Dual Serrated Knives. He also has an amulet which was also gifted to him by Aphosis, allowing Jackson to manipulate shadows to help him say hidden when stealth is need. Conceals nearly all traces of his presence. Non-magical items:Smartphone, Brass Knuckles, Cigarettes, a special Laptop with a satellite uplink, so it is always connected to the internet, when asked how he got it, he tells people 'I could tell you, but then I'd have to kill you.' He says this with such seriousness that most people leave him alone. Magical Enhancements:Marks of the First Hunter: Given to him by Aphosis, these marks enhance Jacksons endurance, strength, senses, and tracking skills. Takes the mark of a jungle cat tattoo running across the whole of his back. Backstory:Jackson was your average troublemaker, always getting into fights, pulling pranks, and just being an over all nuisance. But the one think that sets him apart from others was that he always felt like he was being watched. It followed him all through out his life, feeling especially intense when ever he got into fights. It wasn't until one day, when he was 16 years old, that he would find out. That was the day that a heretical order kidnapped him from his home and forced him to learn magic. The reason, they wished to bind the spirit that seemed to be connected to him, watching him from beyond the veil, and to do that they needed him to summon it. So it was that he learned the skills needed to summon the spirit, and in only a year as he seemed to have a hidden talent for it. When the time came, he did summon the spirit, but he made sure to leave out a certain part of the spell that kept the being contained. So it broke out, quickly overwhelming his captors in a wave of shadow. Afterwards, it took a form that looked exactly like him and held out it hand. Seeing no reason not to, he took it and the spirit surged forth into Jackson, leaving behind it's mark and the blade he now uses. Shortly after, a collection of priest came in, only to see all the heretics dead, and him unconscious, with the blade in his hand. When he awoke, Jackson was given two options, be executed on grounds of heresy, or join the order. He took the obvious choice, and hasn't looked back ever since.
|John and Axia| |Ayero, Road to Hiden| Axia was blasted away by the two attacks, not able to dodge effectively due to her horns being in Groudon's claws, the maze of rock blades around them, and her own maddened state causing her to have tunnel vision focus on destroying the legendary pokemon. She went flying through several blades and landed on the other side of them. John immediately went to her side, moving surprisingly fast despite his heavy plate armor. When he reached her side, he saw that she had fainted, but had sustained any fatal or serious injuries. He gave a sigh of relief, reaching into his pack to pull out some firsy aid supplies, some ointments, and salves to help her recover faster. Once he finished, he turned to the owner of the Groudon, wondering what her name was. Something with a C, if he remembered correctly. "Well then, now that the excitement is over, could you perhaps help me take Axia here to Hiden? That was were heading before we stumbled upon you and you big friend here, and I assume that's where your heading as well. Oh, and my name is John Flares, a knight to a Baron that I believe serves under your family, and former Monk of the Heatran Temple." John gave her a bow, just enough to show his acknowledgement of her rank. **Sebastian,** **Ayero, Ladyl Woods** Sebastian sighed when Aledia had gotten caught in the trap, shaking his head at her foolishness. That is why you should always watch your step in a forest. As he moved to help her down, he heard her sudden exclamation, turning quickly to spot it. He just as quickly turned to Seth, yelling an order at him. "Oi Seth, get on Belle and follow the bird to its lair. Once you find it,come find us so we can make aplan. Now hurry before you lose it." After he gave his order, he quivckly drew his knife and set to work quickly, yet carefully cutting Aledia down. After he cut her down, he started carefully inspecting her foot, poking and prodding it. "Tell me if anything hurts, so I can make sure your foot has been broken or sprained."
How do you think the Groudon and Kyo would react to Quazar?
Jackson looked over at the group that walked in, and he had to say thathe was not impressed. "Hello Aaron, my name is Jackson Devani. Now please tell me your not really worried about those three suckers that just walked in, they look like they'd fall over if ya breathed on them wrong." Jackson then turned to face the younger kid, giving him a good handshake. "It's nice to meet you Kyle, now tell me how ya want do this in case the three stooges over there decide to make a scene with our buddy Aaron. My suggestion is that you let me kick their collective asses, but I have a feeling that's not how the rest of you roll. If they don't mess with us, then we go with your original plan." Jackson honestly didn't care, because he knew they were in for a fight either way. He just hoped that smokin' waitress would at least put up a somewhat decent fight, otherwise this would be a rather boring mission.
