Why does Aiden never get any attention, it seems that Sable is a good deal more popular than him.

Aiden Aiden stopped questioning the woman as they were attacked, quickly moving to Sable and Cynthia's side. Standing on Cynthia's otherside, he summoned his ice focusing it towards his hands as he prepped for battle. "You fishified rejects of nature think you can take 3 Dragonslayers, an S-class, and 5 other mages with this many, then I must say that you're quite the dumb-ass fish." Aiden smiled, cracking his knuckles in anticipation. "Now then, let me show you guys what happens when you decide to mess with Vypers. . . Oh, and, um, harpies too." Aiden added the last bit lamely, he had been pretty cool until then. "Ice Make: Howling Night!" Aiden clawed his hands together and smashed them into the ground, causing a wave of ice to rush forward and freeze the oil the octopus-demon had summoned, then began smashing into the pirates. That was not all however, as the moment they hit the pirates, the ice transformed into fierce wolves that proceeded to tear into and attack the pirates. The attack took a good bit of wind out of Aiden's sails, but he summoned his ice claws and leaped into the fray, slashing at every pirate he could with a fierce savagery, and making his way towards the freaky octopus man.

Xavier Xavier let out a shout as he was pulled back, almost about to roast Gwen until he realized who it was. He went to look at the creature, but quickly looked away upon Gwen's warning. He kept his eyes low, focusing for a bit before he cried out "Tephra God's Bellow" letting out another blast of super heated ash surge towards the beast, giving it a curve so that it didn't interfere with Gwen's attack. "Tephra God's Divine Judgement: Obsidian Rain" He cast a dense ash cloud towards the basilisk, quickly condensing them into a barrage of razor sharp obsidian pieces that would converge on the Basilisk at high speeds. "So much for it being a legend huh." Xavier said, his eyes subtly shifting between blue and black, the voices whispering to him again. 'Kill it, my prince, kill the basilisk and take it's soul and make it your own.' Xavier's grin grew wide, a bloodlust he had never felt before beginning to take hold.

Aiden heard a voice from behind him and turned to see a girl with flaming red hair that seemed to have fallen from the tree quickly hiding herself in some bushes. Finding this very suspicous, Aiden walked over to the bush she was in, making a grunt as he saw her seeming to drool over Sable. 'What the hell was wrong with the women of this island, what do they ese in the walking fire hazard' "Oi, who the hell are you, and what are you doing spying on us?" As he spoke, he took a stance, not sire what to expect from the woman.

Insomnium couldn't get through the other demon's hide, but he didn't stop, he couldn't stop. His mind was gone, replaced by a berserker rage, When the demon's fist smashed into his head, he barely felt it, his rage too all-consuming. He took hold of one of the creatures arms with a clawed hand, intending to flip it over and smash it into the dust, but then he heard someone yell out in their direction. Immediately forgetting about the creature he had been attacking previously, he charged at the other one, letting out a roar as he went to smash it into the ground with a clawed fist.

Natasha & Nova The fight between Natasha and Nova was about to get physical when Jacob, fortunately, broke through with his question. Nova took time to think about the question, and why Jacob had suddenly brought it up, while Natasha just chuckled as she stood up, her hand on slapping her chest in an act of confidence. "Fear, hah, I fear nothing. In fact, fear is scared of me, and that's why I have none." Nova, still deep in thought, took notice of something crawling up his sister's leg, "Hey fearless, there's a spider on your leg." After Nova's comment, the air was filled with such an ear piercing scream that you would have thought the girl was a sound conduit, as she immediately began shaking her legs to get the thing off. As soon as she was sure it was off she ran out of the room, still screaming until she made it all the way to Cruor's room on the train car and shut herself in. Nova, after his ears had stopped ringing, could only chuckle at his supposedly fearless sister. "You know, I had completely forgotten that she's deathly afraid of any type of bug, spiders most of all. Which is why no one takes any of the available sleeping areas near this one, as their tends to be a lot of those in abandoned tunnels." Nova got up and walked over to sit next to Jacob, taking a few minutes to look at the man. "You know, I can't think of much that really scares me on any meaningful level. When you asked, only one thing came to mind. I do't want to ever watch my sister or Cruor, or anyone I care about die. JUst thinking about it fills me with such anger, such rage. . ." Nova clenched his hands together, before staring at Jacob, his eyes cold, far too cold for one of his age. "So if you do anything at all to endanger any of them, I will end you. I'm watching you, Jacob, never forget that." With that he said being said, he walked out of the room, the blood construct following him out. Cruor "Shall I start calling you Queen Scorn now, Madame?" Cruor chuckled, "As for recruits, only one, the one Natasha was recruiting earlier. Seems we should let her out more often, and I''m glad she helped us find this man. It's clear to see that he's troubled, probably with poor control of his powers, and with nary a place to call his own. I believe he is in desperate need of help, so I say that should be our next destination. You are much better than I am with people, I'm just the gentle care taker. Also, I'm thinking of changing how I use my tendrils, do you think I should go give that old man behind the Amp a shout. Former DUP or not, I think he's definitely an asset we should use. I'd have to take Nova with me, though, as to keep myself from killing the vile swine." "I also met a possible canidate, though he seemed rather agitated at the moment so I didn't press the issue. I gave him a calling card for another meeting, and will send a blood creature to scope the scene nefore I bring him to a secure location. Can't be to careful. So then, Shall we head back to welcome the new recruit?"
