Being truly on my own is a bit of a weird feeling. It's never really happened.

Let it never be said that sometimes extreme brevity isn't the most appropriate post, though. Everything is a tool.

My Goddess was intended to be patron of the lost, being the Goddess of Poverty and such.

Those are completely unrelated things. Poverty =/= Forgotten Stuff.
Either God of Oddly Small Things or God of Forgotten Stuff. : D

He comes from Roman lineage, his name is that of said lineage. He thinks of himself as If there's anything else, please ask on.

You do realise that Roman naming customs are utterly bizarre, his father's name is Greek, and if there were any true Roman families left after the time of Justinian I, they would have been in Greece or Anatolia, and finally gone by the sixteenth century, right?
I will... probably not be using a traditional fantasy race because that is less interesting and because I don't think there's any that I like and aren't already claimed.
... why is his name in Latin if he's basically just Italian? Why specify 'Roman' lineage? O_o

No way, Wolverine goes down more often than Worf.

Well, he does get back up again. :p

Eh, whatever the reason for it is, I'm not really enjoying posting in a training simulation where my post could be anything and it'll have an effect for maybe three posts at most. It gets us no closer to the end of the fight.
You didn't spend all your XP? Huh.
"I'm a stealth and infiltration specialist, and you're mad at me for not getting drawn into a slugfest? Don't be stupid." <- I have an IC argument.

It's hard to take the initiative when a post might represent a few seconds at most, and then the trainers are up in a few seconds more. The training mission is dragging, because it's simply not possible for the characters there to take anyone down long enough to progress with it. It kind of looks like somehow experience also equals becoming Wolverine, which would be amazing but seems a little implausible.
Honestly, my reason for sitting out the rest of the training session is that Phantom's worked out she can't contribute, and OOC it's both confusing and rather frustrating, since the trainers are getting up only a post or two after being taken down--which either means they're all immensely durable, or they're absolutely terrible at treating intentionally-softened attacks like they're incapacitating.
Or the GM will get a new monitor.
