Being truly on my own is a bit of a weird feeling. It's never really happened.

Let it never be said that sometimes extreme brevity isn't the most appropriate post, though. Everything is a tool.

Change my mind, I've read the posts and, I think this is just too slice of life and anime like for me. I'm just going to go ahead and withdraw if that affects anything. Sorry

I think this is the first time I have ever seen anyone sign up to an RP, referencing a specific anime series in their application, and then leave because 'too anime'.
Why do we need so many links in the OOC? : (

Anyway: Amelia is, whilst a well-liked and practised Priestess, sadly lacking in ceremonial diligence. She's had the position long enough that she basically only holds services on special occasions, and mostly just hangs around with members of the clergy she personally likes. She's been at it for longer than the average elven lifespan, at least. XD
I doubt anyone has any pressing need to decapitate him, I just worry that he might not be strong enough. He's good with a sword (if I haven't gotten things mixed up), but we have a magically-buffed King Arthur in the cast.
Yay~

Well, if that's the case: my current idea basically consists of 'what if we gave a child a lot of Reiatsu and a reaaaaaaaaaally big sword'? Or, in other words, female young Kenpachi without the fighting obsession.

I think, when I used them in muted form, they were 2nd Division. XD

Fine then i was thinking of playing as Venom,Jason Todd,Connor McLeod, or Yoshimitsu.

I know three of them, and two of them have no problems; Venom is sadly inconsistent.
'Related to Canon X' leads to Mary Sue-ism, and in anything with multiple female love interests leads to... arguments.

By removing all canons from the equation, you have a clean slate: you have the organisation, and the power definitions. The perfect sandbox; no need to worry about explaining how an OC took over the 11th Division without basically saying 'they beat everyone in a swordfight' or the like.

It seems you've been ninja'd, my dearest Daze. SUCH MISFORTUNE~!

It's not being ninja'd when it's intentionally expanding on your post. Or, at least, echoing it for effect: This Is A Bad Choice. :p

To maintain continuity between the thread and the series, all events that have taken place in the manga are set to have taken place a century or two before the beginning of this thread.

... not an AU? A thread based upon an unknown ending, and in the future and with most of the current captains (possibly lieutenants in some spots) too... um.

This is a recipe for disaster. Rank paralysis is only the most minor symptom.
I'm in favour of Casual; grammar errors make me wince but I am far too lazy to so much as consider making an application for an Advanced thread. XD
Name: Heidi Schwarzwald

Age: ~150

Gender: Female

Race: Pixie

Appearance: A slightly tan child with emerald eyes, Heidi is on the small side for a child, thus making her a bit small for a pixie. She makes up for this by avoiding haircuts like some horrible plague: her hair is over six feet long when in its normal curls, making it a very good thing that she can fly everywhere it the need arises. As a wingless pixie, she has more options for clothing than is the norm, but she doesn't take that much advantage of this, favouring a strapless, sleeveless dress composed wholly of fresh leaves.

Profession: Gardener-in-Chief, Carmine Park

Personality: Somewhat easily distracted, but infinitely more mature than she appears to be; Heidi is reliable enough to ask for advice... but if you present her with a complicated problem she'll probably be gone before you finish explaining it. As a result of what she is, she tends to dislike harming plants, but is even more baffled by the concept of stabbing things to death, cutting them up, charring them, and then devouring the half-burnt flesh. Taking the byproducts of reproduction and consuming them is only mildly less weird.

That is, when the pixie eats something, it's invariably vegan.

Equipment/Weapons: She has access to gardening tools, little as she needs them.

Abilities: As a pixie, Heidi has the innate ability to fly. She also has the ability to control plant life--for the most part, to make it grow faster and to some desired pattern, but she can also shrink plants back and cure them of such things as Dutch Elm Disease (not that Holland exists). Thus, she tries her best to avoid mundane gardeners: what they take years to achieve, she can pull off in an afternoon. When it comes to landscaping, however, she has to put in as much work as anybody else.

Brief Backstory: Born in the same park she now tends, Heidi is extremely strange for a pixie in having come into existence in an urban area. Thus unlike most of her people, she's far from shy, and is used to navigating crowds to get something to eat (not that it's a necessity, but it is better than an empty stomach) or to buy clothes for fancy functions. After about a decade taking care of it of her own initiative, she was officially employed by the mayor's office to take care of the park, with less magically-gifted gardeners answering to her. As she refuses to sleep anywhere but the park, Heidi has a surprisingly large supply of funds stashed away when she decides to celebrate something.
