Being truly on my own is a bit of a weird feeling. It's never really happened.

Let it never be said that sometimes extreme brevity isn't the most appropriate post, though. Everything is a tool.

Well, basically... compared to canon (particular the 4th and 5th Grail War) Berserkers, he has no stunning offensive ability, nor matching defences.

On a one-by-one basis:
Lancelot still retains fighting ability. This, on its own, is enough to get him out of trouble. On top of that, his armour is enough to survive being run over by Gordius Wheel, or hit several times by Gate of Babylon projectiles.
Bersercules has the near-invulnerability by God Hand, insane speed and strength... and residual ability left by Eye of the Mind, making him hard to feint. Definitely a nightmare; in this war, the only way to take him out would be to hit him with Arondight, a horse, and then hope Archer could get in a good shot.
Fate/Extra Berserkers: Amongst other things, the war format helps protect them from what would otherwise be a very sorry circumstance; it all comes down to straight one-on-one fights. Still, Lu Bu has frankly insane stats, armour, and a semi-functional transforming weapon NP. Arcueid... is a True Ancestor, and even nerfed she's not wholly incompetent.
Apocrypha: I'm not so sure, but Frankie seems to be relatively sane, plus has odd NP's, and a useful skill. The Great Grey Gimp is basically a walking tank from the wiki descriptions. Kintoki, in the cancelled project, is just childish.

The problem is that you've got a Berserker with all the crazy insanity of Heracles, without any of the defences, anything to attack with, or much compensation other than 'sheer raw strength'. If he hits, the damage would be enormous--but he's not fast enough to make simply 'getting near' a dangerous prospect. I think Samson killed a guy with a bone, which might be a start.
Unrelated, since this is taking a while and I have an idea, would you have any objection if I start off the IC posting and summon Lancer? XD
I doubt there's a single path through the caves.
I wonder if Saber's ability to stand on water would allow her to surf?
For instance, Archer rarely uses a bow.
Eh, I can think of an easy way to arrange that. Ranged characters in the middle, close combat on the edges, once they've fired, melee guys move forwards and ranged back. Works unless surrounded, which would be a mostly melee affair anyway.
"It's been a while, hasn't it, Saber?" Archer replied, look of surprise barely more than a flicker. So she remembered the war, too? That was strange; her entire situation was unique, for want of a better word. Though with a situation as inexplicable as his appearance, perhaps it was only to be expected that she would remember, too.

The talking sword was giving opinions on strategy, and wanted... to put everyone whose abilities relied on having a clear view in the middle, where the mass of bodies would simply get in the way. Archer's estimation of the sword dropped somewhat, though as a talking sword it was still quite amazing. It wasn't a type of weapon he'd come across, before.
Up above, Nanoha gave the pink-haired girl an odd look. Not for the colour of her hair--she knew Signum, whose hair was somehow even more pink--or even for her size or the vast amount of hat she somehow wore. No, it was simply a look of total confusion. No-one was allowed to fly on her level? What was that even supposed to mean? Was flight height so important on the world she'd come from? Probably not a Mid-Childan mage, in that case; it didn't really fit the world's culture.

"Can you tell me where we are?"
I think you might want to reconsider your Berserker's skills/Noble Phantasm. I think he's at a level of totally lacking in defensive functions that Caster would have no problems subduing him. An NP that handily blinds you is a death sentence. >_>;
Want to pair with Hanako?
Hanako can pair with anyone. Whilst it would be interesting to reverse the normal Master/Servant dynamic--like with Medea and Kuzuki--it isn't something Faust has the ability set for, and thus her presence as a passive provider and owner of baffling dodging ability is all she can provide. XD

Considering it's been three weeks, what was it you were saving up for?

... writer's block. She said trying. And I've been trying to help. Badly. I am not good at helping. XD
