Name: Honda Kaede
Age: 18
Race: Fairy! Sadly, this doesn't mean wings. It does mean being very very small.
Appearance:
Personality: For the most part, Kaede is quite reserved with her emotions, being both naturally rather unemotive and resigned to the fact that people tend to not notice herall that well. She is, however, quite easily worried when it comes to changing classrooms--like for a science experiment--and even getting home, looking quite plaintive and holding her arms up whilst hoping that somebody picks her up.
Scared of large animals.
Skills: Amazing stamina from having to walk with writing instruments to actually get anything legible down, and quite fast, too. She's got a surprisingly loud singing voice for such a tiny little girl. Plus she's pretty good at baking, though it's somewhat exhausting.
Hobbies: Watching TV, karaoke, food.
Club(s): Baking Club (Icing Specialist)
Background: Not much to say. Lives just down the road from the school, in what looks like a real-life dollhouse set on an earthy block to raise it to arm level.
Other: Tends to avoid wearing shoes, because she spends large amounts of time on furniture and other people's clothing, plus the difficulty of getting proper footwear in that sort of size.

This RP got off to a bad start because I skimped on the OP, so here's a better attempt. Like, with an actual OP. And character list. And defined setting.
The cat mode picture also contains a side view of the uniform, I guess. Western rather than a sailor uniform. Ribbons are still important.
Name: Tsukihime Koneko
Age: 18
Race: Nekomata
Appearance:
Personality: Koneko has an immense weakness for cute things, and sometimes starts trailing cute girls with all the subtlety of a supernova. If she sees a cute toy, she'll buy it without hesitation, then fall asleep with it as soon as she gets home. Being a cat, she's prone to sleeping at times she really shouldn't, but she's generally friendly and excitable once awake--if far too physical for most people's liking.
Skills: Extremely agile and flexible, can see in the dark, can talk to cats, and she can turn from cat to human and back again--but rarely does so, because she has a bad habit of forgetting where her clothes are. She can also make the dead move about as she wishes, but Koneko hasn't the faintest idea why she'd want to use this ability or what it's actually supposed to achieve. In terms of skills valued by humans, she has absolutely nothing.
Hobbies: Napping in warm spots, collecting soft toys, obsessing over adorable girls.
Club(s): Ceaseless Remedial Classes. Not actually a club, but with her academic ability, sadly a necessity.
Background: For fifteen years, Koneko was simply a small cat looked after by first and old couple, and then simply an old man. It was then that she proved to be one of those lucky felines that not only lives a long time, but becomes a nekomata; her tail split and she gained full intelligence. In the modern world, it's become necessary to register such occurrences and set up the resulting people with a reasonably accurate birth certificate--plus, if possible, find a family willing to adopt them. In Koneko's case, the old man was quite happy to, having no children of his own and having owned her since she was merely a kitten.
Several months into her first year of high school, the old man passed away, leaving the girl with no education whatsoever as the sole inheritor of his possessions. Fortunately, he was... well, the primary shareholder of a vast international business empire, which was more or less run by other people at that stage anyway. Koneko is pretty much in the care of various employees, even as she steadily fills up her cavernous residence with cat after cat and stuffed toy after stuffed toy.
Being essentially uneducated and only in her current school on funding alone, she has no time for clubs and spends vast amounts of time making up tests and attending remedial classes. It's made worse by her tendency to doze off on warm days, especially since nothing has managed to stop her bringing part of her collection along with her.
Other: Size-wise, Nadeshiko beats her out by the height of her ears; Koneko is a tiny cat and this carries over.
Basically every first year is better at every single class--except P.E.--than Koneko. She is academically the worst person in school.

Mizumi is a small town, nestled between forested mountains and a crystal lake. Despite its scenic beauty, it doesn't have much in the way of tourism, with roads between it and the next city over being ill-repaired and unlit, whilst the only trains stopping at the station are delivering goods. Yet despite this, it still has two high schools--one male, one female--even though they only have three classes each.
Why? Quite simply: Mizumi is a hotbed for the supernatural. Youkai newly coming down off the mountains, more urban spirits seeking a bit of peace and quiet, aliens who arrived to the Earth on an out-of-the-way hillside... all of them filtering through, and needing some form of education. A few disastrous accidents involving succubi and yuki-onna later, it was decided that two schools would be better than one, whilst also solving the increasing crowding problem the initial buildings were facing.
Thus, just outside of town proper, grounds stretching right up to the waters' edge, is the all-girls' school. Peaceful, picturesque... and only about a third of the school's population is actually human.
So, this is going to be both a yuri RP (meaning that if you aren't interested in that sort of thing, it isn't for you) and a very slice-of-life scenario without inbuilt drama. So, whilst this means monsters and aliens are common, they're going to be looking more like this and this than this and this. Basically: cute girls, without backstories leading up to 'there will be an enormous tragedy in the roleplay'--think of K-On! and the like for tone.
The other rule: within the first few days of the roleplay, despite knowing each other, I would rather not have characters pairing up and outright going out, because that too easily descends into a race to pair everyone up and I don't wish to get stuck in a situation where everyone my character talks to is already in a relationship again. So is pairing people up OOC within a similar timespan.
