Being truly on my own is a bit of a weird feeling. It's never really happened.

Let it never be said that sometimes extreme brevity isn't the most appropriate post, though. Everything is a tool.

Um... no. Absolutely not. No people puppets, no inexplicable fluffball things, no trying to get around the magical restrictions by just sticking extra words in the race section, and on top of all that there's a sorely lacking amount of detail and erratic grammar.
The sun was shining and the birds were making an infuriating racket as classes finally came to an end on this day in Mizumi's female school. It was a day totally without any intrinsic specialness at all; something people would undoubtedly forget as their lives stretched on and individual school-days blurred into a contiguous mass. For now, though, it was a paradisical day where the weather was the perfect combination of warm and breezy, whilst lessons had only been half the day due to being Saturday. Now, it was time for clubs.

In a nekomata's case, she remained seated and waited for the day's teacher to pick her up, grumpily accepting the needed tuition--it wasn't that she was stupid, just that she was a whole two schools behind the rest of the class, and needed the help to not spend the next decade doing nothing but highschool classes. Still, Koneko wasn't really the best student, and in the warm weather, the long-haired catgirl was drifting off in her window seat, using her arms as a pillow. Maybe she'd get lucky and spend the lesson in a more interesting club...

Over by the door, a member of the baking club was sat, cross-legged, and waiting for a lift towards her intended destination. Sometimes she didn't get any help at all... but most of the time, at least one class member helped the smallest girl out, carrying her over to the clubrooms and sparing her the task of having to walk over there herself. Admittedly, she was a speedy little thing, but the doors were trouble and there was always the risk of being trodden on to consider...
Considering what Ba'al and Sorin are like, it would be fun to have made Vel'Koz a character instead just to laugh at three high-power dimension-travelling wiseasses interacting with each other.

That makes me sad that introducing Zelretch to anything is a ludicrously bad idea. XD
It's a case of the three miracles could be anything, but they're used up in doing so, so it's a bad idea to waste them. But you're a guy with an invulnerable sword.

Sure seems to be a lot of them floating around in this war.

Anyhow, now we just need a Master out of you. :P
I was thinking B. XD

And yes, that's what I mean. Stat buffs, spatial magic, breaking through defences the sword would otherwise be stuck against--that sort of thing.
I think mostly that Strength. He's a pretty beefy knight, guy shouldn't be going around with D-Rank Strength on foot. More in league with Iskander or Medusa on hitting power.

Well, if you think of the three miracles as something like command seals, you could get basically the same effect out of it if you wanted--and the other useful abilities. Power buffs for a critical fight, the spacial teleportation, breaking through a shield or the like you otherwise couldn't. All you're basically doing right now is giving yourself marginally better Magic Resistance.

Am I correct that the master needed is for berserker?

Um, not really looking for someone who only wants to play a Master, and someone else already has a Rider up.

On Roland: his stats seem rather... weak? Also a bit confused that a horn he refused to blow until he was about to be killed, and kept going until dying, for the sake of revenge buffs him here.

On Durendal, just going to paste this:

Durandal: The Peerless Sword ( 絶世の名剣デュランダル , Zessei no MeikenDyurandaru ?) is the holy sword favored by the paladin leader of the Twelve Peers, Roland. It was granted to King Charlemagne of the Frankish Empire by an angel, and awarded to Roland. Appearing in the “Song of Roland, it is a symbol of power splendidly forged much like Caliburn, having been the emblem of the Battle of Roncevaux Pass. It is a dazzling sword that possesses three miracles that allow it to maintain its sharpness even after its possessor's prana is depleted. Though Roland, on the verge of death in battle, had wished to destroy it to keep it from falling into enemy hands, it proved to be completely indestructible. It was featured later prominently in the various legends concerning Charlemagne, eventually becoming a symbol of the knight Roland’s bravery.[13]

One of the things Gilgamesh kept shooting in Fate. If nothing else, we at least have the sword's official subtitle. XD

Well, apparently we have to leave the cave for now. Minato has a spell which, in game, teleports all the party out of a dungeon. Would that work in this situation?

Wouldn't it leave us the wrong side of the cave?
Need a Master? Yes, but we need a Rider more.

If it comes to it, I actually have an idea for covering the lack of that pair, but it would mean pairing Mamoru with Benkei... though given that it's Berserker, maybe not the worst thing. Would rather not do it, though.
