Being truly on my own is a bit of a weird feeling. It's never really happened.

Let it never be said that sometimes extreme brevity isn't the most appropriate post, though. Everything is a tool.

The important thing to remember about Alice's previous location was that it was several stories above ground level. On top of that, she was also absolutely terrified of heights; when the sudden falling started, Alice started screaming like a little girl and landed in about as undignified a manner as possible, landing half on the path and mostly on the grass... face-first. This, combined with dirt-encrusted glasses and her own bad eyesight, lead her to not notice the boxes for a brief moment whilst she sat up and cleaned the surprisingly-undamaged lenses.

With her glasses now clean, Alice adjusted her hat, tried to look imposing, and read the messages that were coming up in thin air. That... was an extremely annoying feature. Already, she was wondering if there was a way to customise or rearrange the UI, since it was getting in the way and an annoying shade of blue. On top of that, whoever was naming these quests was frankly terrible at it.

That wasn't a catchy name at all.
It explains why Satsuki cut her hair, at least.
You're not going to collab everything and post obnoxiously huge walls of text every post, are you? :/
Alice Curze, Elsewhere in the Island Kingdom

A small student was continuing to whittle away the hours doing essentially nothing of particular interest, leaning over a bunch of plastic squares and staring at an ever-shifting pattern of bright lights. After spending half of the day asleep, and having done the essential things such as 'get something to eat', Alice had ended up sat in front of a computer, consuming large amounts of sugary drinks and keeping out of everyone else's hair in much the same way that she hoped they'd keep out of hers. On the whole, it seemed to be working; the hat-wearing girl's day had been joyously quiet and devoid of human contact.

Well, except for food, she supposed, where she'd just gone and bought it rather than cooked anything. Quite probably because she'd run out of things to cook and had no desire to go shopping. Still, that minor excursion aside, Alice had spent the entire day sequestered in her room, looking in irritation at code that continued to not be doing what she wanted it to do. So she'd given up, closed the textbook, and turned her attention instead to watching videos.

So when the text box showed up, the girl adjusted her glasses... and moved her mouse to where it said no... and clicked. Obviously, nothing happened, and this was more irritating than the box itself. Not only had the thing obviously gotten past pop-up blockers, it was a stubborn virus at that. Just killing the whole process didn't do anything, so she set the antivirus to scan, and got up to dig out the older computer that, running a completely separate operating system, should hopefully be immune to idiotic malware.

The textbox followed her. Removing and cleaning her glasses didn't make it go away. This was strange enough for her to actually pay attention to the box. Maou, huh? Well... she was fairly certain that meant something like demon, and playing a villain was always more fun. Deciding to play along with what was obviously a dream, Alice reached out and pressed yes.
Name: Alice Curze

Age: 20

Gender: Female

Appearance: Using a picture drawn of something else by White there... grumpy thing is tiny.

Personality: An odd mix of pessimistic and overenthusiastic, she seems to alternate between seeing the worst of everything and rushing forwards without really caring what the hell's going on. Still, even at the best of times, she's not what you'd exactly call 'social', being on the whole unwilling to even introduce herself, let alone go out with other people. Not that this gets in the way of taking part in those activities she does find fun--she's just more or less disinterested in the social aspect.
Someone not prone to putting effort in until it's extremely necessary; where mental pursuits are concerned, she seems to do well enough whilst half-assing it. Surprisingly perverse imagination for someone as generally unemotive (Rage excepted) as her.

History: British uni student, second year. Wholly uninteresting due to rarely getting out, she takes part in tabletop games and anime-related groups, and that's about it.

Skills: Alice can find her way around a computer well enough--kind of handy when your degree is about computers, and has a tendency to mess with little mechanical devices and things in general until they work to her specification. She's also surprisingly adept at picking up new things, provided that physical exertion isn't provided.

Maou Arts: [Lust] [Computers] [Tinkering] [Learning]

That's a pretty epic looking attack. :D

And GS won't let me use Gilgamesh. : (
Pokemon don't really compare to Cirno. Kinda an ability difference here. :p

I think there are only three canon swords in Fate that Archer has no business replicating*, since, well...

*Ea can't be replicated, Excalibur is suicide to copy, and the third... I don't think he'd have ever seen?
Archer

So the cat expected them to fight the dragon with equipment made from lesser dragons? Not really something that Archer could see himself doing; killing one would be hard enough to start with, and despite his ability to alter and work with swords, Archer didn't really see himself fashioning bits of a carcass into usable equipment. For one, he doubted that there would be enough undamaged dragon left to make anything from: dragons of any description couldn't be fought with intent to protect them.

This left a few choices for weapons. Most were swords--despite their size, heroes seemed to like attacking dragons close up, regardless of the personal risk to themselves. Archer, himself, had a sword preference. In this case, a sword was far from his preferred choice: dragonslaying swords were often wielded by the greatest of heroes, and their individual power would be a terrible drain to project. Instead, the Knight in Red prepared to project a spear to deal with the dragon, once they got there.

Ascalon was really the best choice.

TINIEST GIRL

"I knew you would be teaching today," Kaede pointed out, squirming out of the small vampire's grip and scampering up her arm, seating herself firmly on the girl's shoulder. Being carried around in someone's hand was... well, for a start it was more than a little demeaning to be carried around like a child's doll, but on top of that, it was nauseating to be swung around as whoever was providing the lift swung their arms. Plus she didn't get a very good view.

On the other hand, the odd short girl--Kazamatsuri, she thought--would probably be staring at her now. She wasn't sure why Nadeshiko had such an interest in here, but it was rather unnerving to have someone that shy look at you regularly.
KITTY

Straightening her ribbon, the catgirl yawned and got up, moving over to where the little teacher was waiting. In her arms was a rather limp-looking teddy bear, its arms and legs dangling forlornly as the nekomata silently approached the teacher. She was, in Koneko's opinion, by far the cutest teacher in school. Oh, how she'd like to hug her and dress her in an even frillier dress and then go put her on a shelf surrounded by lots of dolls and take a picture. It'd be the cutest thing ever!

She appeared to have stopped paying attention to her surroundings in favour of daydreaming about turning her teacher into an actual doll.
