By the way, and here's another spoiler so watch out, China crumbles as a result of this and Japan gains a lot of it's territory. Later on the US fights the Japanese Empire which has a lot of Asia under it's belt. The battle would be epic. *tries to bait you guys over into my roleplay instead* We could even fight for the empire of the rising sun! Yay!

Oddly enough I can't find any info on Blue Drop that sounds anything like the plot I gave, but if it does have similar aspects with the background the plot will certainly differ greatly, being about humans rather then an alien invasion.EDIT: You ninja'd in an explanation. I guess they didn't post about that because it spoils the plot.

The manga are set AFTER the invasion.

I may eventually reinstate an old roleplay idea where the y chromosome has been severely deteriorating so that men are born less and less until they're near extinct, thus making the entire human race threatened by extinction by the time there aren't enough men around to get women pregnant. This would obviously lead to some yuri action (there aren't enough men around to keep everyone satisfied). Once this roleplay ends, if you guys like the idea then we can have another roleplay involving this. However, I probably wouldn't have it take place in a school so we can have a change of scenery. There are many more story ideas that go along with this plot then have it simply be a romance anyways. After all, if nothing drastic is done then entire countries can fall, so it ignites plenty of wars.

Seen the idea before. Hmm... sounds similar to Blue Drop's backstory, for one. :p
