Awesome post. Nice introduction that shows off a bit of the character's personality, her home, and skill level. I do think that at some point when the bodies are piling up, you should listen when you are told that the one armed, half blind, and probably drunk Samurai can serve you your ass for dinner. XD
The hard part is getting her sober long enough for her skill level to matter.
She's had around ten years to improve since her backstory. She's basically a weaponry genius as it is. But making use of that is a trial in and of itself. XD
