I can think of plenty of ways that can be achieved right now without having a ninja inexplicably better at a sword fight. Standing on a ceiling and ignoring the rest of the battle comes to mind. And ninja are all about fighting dirty. >.>

Kotone Shinobu has made an appearance in that episode. Shinobu is kind of a common name in anime, but it's still odd that the first and last name was the same as one of our characters.

Even weirder is that we have the names the other way round.
