Being truly on my own is a bit of a weird feeling. It's never really happened.

Let it never be said that sometimes extreme brevity isn't the most appropriate post, though. Everything is a tool.

The hair, wherever the thinnest part connecting her to Irene would be.

... it's not like it's a single rope. It's the same pieces that stabbed her.
@Raineh Daze
Would high powered sniper rounds be able to go through her hair right now? I feel like it would because she wouldn't have time to react and brace for the attack. Need to know for the post.

... shooting at what, though?
Sorry for not doing anything for some time. I have been extremely busy with school work lately and not been able to do much. I will have something soon though, less than a day. Sorry again, but busy.

It's fine, it's fine; it's something everyone does at some point for some reason or another. Real life stuff is the best of the reasons.
Well, strictly speaking, no they won't.

I think the beach is more-or-less waiting on GM intervention to conclude. Or X-forgot-the-rest's random NPC's to try something
Yes... may my plans continue unimpeded... :D
Alice Marlowe

"You mean that inhaling poison is bad for you? I'm so glad that you managed one display of intelligence today," the victorious hero said, taking a drag and shrinking the flaming hair... an odd process that seemed to start from the ends, leaving no flames left. Though the insult reminded her more of a five year old, and made no sense because she wasn't even close enough to smell, Irene's voice was getting rather grating.

So she just fashioned one of the restraints into a gag. Simple, efficient, and it preserved her insanity as the other heroes caught back up.

Not looking away from Irene--at least that way anything unexpected wouldn't mean an escape--she listened to Buster Fist's clanking. It was finished, did he really have to stay in that bulky thing? "Everything's finished this end, too. We just need someone to arrive and pick this idiot up."

The Undying Silence

Demonstrating that today was apparently quite an exciting day for the supervillains of the world, a research facility in the heart of the city was under assault. It was a strange choice to come under attack--cell regeneration, mostly--but of some interest to Maria. On top of that, it was just one branch of a much larger group focusing on all aspects of the border between the living and the dead. This one, in particular, was picked simply because it was the closest and relatively least guarded, as it didn't have direct offensive applications.

Though nobody had been killed, yet, there were rather a lot of broken bones to go around, and a request for help had been sent with a basic description. It was probably a good idea, as the blast doors left over from a previous use for the facility had been hacked through.

The Undying Silence herself was standing in front of the lead researcher, blade in one hand, note in another. The passwords. Give them to me.

From what she'd learned through the underworld, their research was nearing a breakthrough, yet still not appropriate for its intended purpose... which was fine. She didn't care about the intended purpose. The failed version would give heroes more practise at killing things that wouldn't die; they might learn something.
Yoshikawa Miu

Miu seated herself opposite what was likely to be the closest thing to a challenge this war would offer--and even conceding to label Asami as a challenge was a stretch at that. She was good, which was inarguable, but she wasn't awe-inspiring. Her ability was an interesting one to look out for, however, and not something that could be copied and thrown back at her. A pity, then; simply showing her the full extent of real fire might be the appropriate way to demonstrate the vast gulf between 'good' and 'worthy of the Origin'.

"No, she is not. Though we are familiar with each other through the institute she recently attended, today is the first time we have met in person," the white-haired mage said after a moment's pause to weigh up the correct (and unnecessary) way to avoid saying 'we're both involved with the same Circle'.
How many heroes aren't involved in stuff, if any?
@tanderbolt Waiting for your post.

And Jay's, too, come to think of it.
I think I'm waiting for someone to either A) pick up my captive, or B) said captive to do something. :p
