The long and short of it: a kingdom really wants this dragon dealt with. It's been there longer than the kingdom has, but... it is very, very firmly stuck. Still, it's sitting on a hoard of over a thousand years' treasure.
Being a colossal red dragon trapped in an AMF, the party has no chance of reasonably killing it.
Instead, you end up doing jobs for the thing. Because, really, after over a thousand years stuck in a cave, it's hard to still be Chaotic Evil.

Don't take things too seriously.
Unless someone REALLY wants a very AoO and (in general) space-concerned character, I'm not bothering with maps. Even then, you have to deal with hex grids because circles suck.
Excessive optimisation will be rejected on those grounds alone.

Alice's arrival was announced by the door--obviously less stiff than the would-be detective was expecting--slammed all the way back with a resounding thud, guaranteed to annoy Kaitlin beyond even packing. Though maybe she'd be a bit less annoyed that she had a familiar face as a room-mate rather than some complete and utter stranger...

Then again, this promised that she would be getting a lot of sleepless nights. Alice wasn't terribly discreet about what she spent her evenings doing.

"Kaitlin!" she exclaimed, presently surprised. The suitcase--one of no less than three--that she had brought with her stayed in the doorway. as the tall girl rushed in to see how her friend was faring in unpacking, "We're together?"

Yuki is best used for aggressive defence. It's really bad for a whole multitude of reasons to have her stick close. XD
