I may or may not be slowly working on something.
In a shop, far from the riotous arcade, a rich girl was poring over wares. The past few days had been quite chaotic, and she had sadly forgotten to do one of her favourite things in life: go buy food! Not that Minerva was the best cook, far from it, but she liked trying new things. The Doll that had saved her and Mr. Teddy, though... she was good in the kitchen, even if she had only been working with leftovers for their last meals.
Thus, Minerva had paid some shopkeepers to stay open just a bit longer than normal. They had, naturally, been quite happy to oblige. The butcher currently had her attention, though she was considering whether it might be better to focus on the fishmonger. Fish could be nice, and buying lots of meat could be considered flaunting her wealth... but was that really a concern in this scenario?
"Mio, do you think we should buy steak?"

Reasoning here is simple: if you want to turn it into a novel, you either already have the story in mind (read: railroading inevitable) or plan to use what we write as the basis, and I refuse to agree to that. So... not interested.
Also because all the remotely interesting characters are taken. Percival is basically Galahad before Galahad was added to the story, and is thus equally bland; the closest remaining guy to 'interesting' only achieves that because 'owns a lion'.
