Zyxon was intrigued by the response given to him by Irvine. "Darkness manipulation? Not sure exactly what that ability has to offer but it sounds interesting" Zyxon had slowed down to think about what irvine said. "What do you think Grim?" He began speeding up to catch up with the other students. "Potentially he could render everyone In the school blind with darkness unless there are light manipulators as well, or potentially he can make your own shadow attack you, so he definitely has his usefulness". Zyxon could here grims interest in Irvine in his voice and he guessed he understood. Fear and darkness have a long history together.
"What about what he said about fear being a strong ally and all that stuff?" he hadn't been listening fully since he was thinking about Irvine's power. Grim decided to twist what he said since Zyxon wasnt listening "fear is a strong ally, its your strongest ally, which is why you should just give in to it already". Zyxon grinned "Nice try, ask me again next week" Zyxon was used to hearing that every once in a while since grim has been trapped in the book and it's owners for centuries and the only way out is by the owner voluntarily giving him there body to possess. He finally made it to the grand hall and sat at the row closest to the exit so he could get to his dorm before a crowd kicked in.

Upon getting to the island the wind blew strongly at my face and a vision of a short redheaded Fae using ice came through his mind. 'so that's my roommate? Perfect doesn't seem violent or loud which is all I ask in a roommate'.I entered the grand hall and took a seat next to a guy around my age in the back, but he kept whispering to himself so I decided to not try and say anything.
I looked around and saw my future roommate Sera, though he would still ask her for her name later, just to seem normal. I also saw that the students even consisted of some monsters like the two-headed dragon and the ice bird sitting in the open spaces of the grand hall. I didnt know if there would be a tour or not but I would definitely need to find the library here, I figured they probably have books I've never heard of up here. But for now I was just waiting for the headmaster to start the assembly.
