@RandomParadoxThis is actually similar to Metallover's old "Age of Rebirth" NRPs.
Not like it's a bad thing, mind you. They were wildly popular every time they were made.

Space is an interesting situation. Right now they don't have the ability to terraform, but they can set up small domes that can maybe house 100 to 1,000 people.
Orbital Strike platforms are also plausible.
