Eliezer made his way to the butler's office with his knight, still weary from the evening before during which he and his family had a meeting with the wardens of Dainia to attempt to convince them that the incident of the assassins escaping should not be of concern. It most certainly did not help that the conversation he had with Raven before that had already taken quite a bit out of him. However, there was about to be even more trouble this day, as he would soon find out once they reached the entrance of Allister's quarters. He froze when he heard Raven's voice, and when Hildebrand spoke, he held his hand up, prompting the knight not to do anything just yet.

Both the young men listened to the exchange through the door, glancing at each other in shock at the part about Allister being the one who had released the assassins. Eliezer's expression then changed to one of disbelief. How could he have done such a thing? Did he think of the consequences which would result from such an action? As the assassin and the butler continued to argue, the change in Raven's voice as she spoke about how much she had cried the night before hit Eliezer hard. It hurt him badly that he had to do this to her, but as the future of Dainia, he did not have a choice, did he? Perhaps he dared not consider the possibility that he actually had one because knew deep down that it would hurt even more if it were true.

Hildebrand had picked up on how painful it must have been for Eliezer to have to listen to it all, and shot his prince a look of concern. "Your Highness..."

The two outside then suddenly flinched at what sounded like wood cracking. Alarmed and worried that Allister might be in immediate danger, Eliezer urgently nodded to Hildebrand, who swiftly threw the door open. Once inside, they quickly took in the scene. The butler was cornered by a hooded figure against a damaged bookcase, and the latter was clearly holding a dagger before she hid it. She tried to disguise herself, but both Eliezer and Hildebrand already knew that she was Raven, because they had heard her voice from outside the office. Hildebrand showed that this was so by calling to her.

"Lady Omrea," he began, stepping forward with his hand around the grip of his sword, ready to draw it. "Move away from him."

"We heard everything. Are you alright, Mister Cornell?" Hildebrand then turned to the butler, visibly suppressing some laughter as he addressed him. He had never seen or heard Allister so afraid before, and he frankly found it to be rather amusing despite the intensity of the situation.

Eliezer shook his head with a deep sigh as he closed the door. "Shut all entrances to this chamber, Sir Hildebrand. Nobody is to enter or leave until we settle this."

At the prince's apparent frustration, Hildebrand's amusement faded, and he proceeded to shut the windows. "Of course, Your Highness."

Eliezer then spoke directly to the butler. "What is this I have heard about you releasing the assassins who had attempted to cause trouble in the village? Are you aware of the distress this had caused my family? Do you know what would happen to you if the king and queen ever found out?"

"The reason being that you wish to protect Lady Omrea and I cannot continue to excuse all reckless actions that you choose to take, Allister, especially since you would not even have cared what happened to me if you did not know that your niece was in love with me," he added bitterly, before turning to Raven. "It is a wonder that he has not told you this, my lady. You would not want to harm one who might possibly be your only family left, would you? Also, I must inform you that entering the palace unannounced and threatening the staff is highly inappropriate."

I have this idea to make it such that Angel had brown eyes before he got his powers.
Ah alright, thanks for letting me know.
The bus hitting a particularly large bump caused the head of the snoozing teenager to lightly smack against the window frame that it was resting on, jolting the boy awake. Angel stirred in his seat, letting out a muffled groan as his eyes fluttered open to reveal brilliant emerald orbs. When did he doze off, and for how long had he been asleep? Turning his attention to the scenery outside, he figured that he had been out for most of the trip, seeing as how they looked to be near their destination. He took notice of the snowy peaks, and just the sight of them made him shiver. He hated the cold, and he was not looking forward to having to step out of the vehicle once it would stop.

Continuing to gaze out the window, he became aware of his mixed feelings about this whole experience. So many things had changed within such a short amount of time back home, and it would seem that he had left much too soon, that he was not ready to be doing what he was. However, he could probably use the change, and it would do him good to get away from it all. Apart from the presumably freezing temperature, the aesthetics of the place made it appear rather cozy. Angel also realized the lack of activity in the area, and appreciated how peaceful it looked to be. Furthermore, it was also refreshing to be around different people, regardless of whether they would become friends, just acquaintances, or even rivals to him. He was not too keen on that last possibility, however.

He then turned his focus to the occupants of the bus, not that there were many. He was glad that it was a small group, though, he wondered about the frequency of the academy's intake. He met the gazes of a couple of other students as he glanced around the bus, but no words were exchanged yet. Well, that was until someone first spoke up in a long time, the voice coming from the back of the vehicle. A boy with a giant book on his lap had called out to the driver, and as he anticipated a response from the latter, Angel caught sight of a piece of equipment in the former's jacket, though, it could be anything else. After slightly raising an eyebrow at it, he looked away and turned back to the front.
