Bio

I'm a 28 year old guy from Middle of Nowhere, USA. Nearest town of any size is nearly 30 minutes from where I live I now live in a slightly-larger-than-small-town I now live in an actually decent sized town. I spend most of my free time on a free to play Magic the Gathering client where I'm a mod and judge but I do still spend a little bit everyday on here. I now spend most of my free time working on my own creative endeavors which includes the media review podcast Copilots Review of which I am one half of. And basically spend no time on here. I have however not been overly active as of late on here. Anyways I've been roleplaying for about 15 years now, getting my start in tabletops and only recently joined the ranks of forum roleplay about 9 years ago. That said I love RPing, Magic the Gathering and music.

If anyone needs to reach me off the guild I'm very reachable on Kik at rawrespada4 and at my hotmail... which you guessed it is rawrespada4@hotmail.com. Honestly if you see a rawrespada4 somewhere it's probably me, this is my username for just about everything so feel free to say hey if you me somewhere. Best bet to reach me off guild now days though is on discord where my user is Rawrespada4 #0581.

That'll spoil the fun. Besides, this is a highschool. We all want to show off. ;)

I took it to be closer to a Uni than a high school but that just might be me misinterpreting. That said no one likes a snitch and I'm sure staff and enforcers had to have noticed... after all the aggressor in the scenario is the size of a mountain.

Also @Ebil Bunny are you working on something, not trying to rush you as I've been pretty afk the last three days or so but it's been a bit since I last posted in the Theo/Iron interaction.
Hey everyone sorry for being afk the last 3 or so days a combination of life and a little bit of a lack of motivation on my end was making it hard to piece a decent post together. Gotta do some catchup on the threads and should have something up today.
@HeroicSociopath
Love the banner for Alex, it's actually pretty awesome.

@TheHangedMan
I miss your old profile image already

Also apologies @Ebil Bunny if you've been waiting on me, a combination of friends visiting and lack of motivation slowed my roll on both this and another roleplay.
Iron Atwood

With Theo taking Iron up on his offer Iron had to postpone his return to the world of mid-century jazz, although since having entered the dining hall the need for music had diminished as Nialla’s music was no longer audible. Whether the music mage had stopped or was just being drowned out by the din of the students in the hall was a mystery, either way was relief to Iron. As Theo sat down at the table Iron took that as his cue to begin eating. Iron’s typical breakfast at B.U.M., the breakfast that he had put together this morning, consisted of what most would call “classics”: biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, bacon, a glass of orange juice and a cup of coffee. He had, like most students, been enthralled by the sheer number of options his first year here but had eventually found himself back to what he was comfortable with.

As he started in on his breakfast Theo proceeded to ask the upperclassman more questions. Iron couldn’t blame the first year, having stumbled on a wealth of knowledge it was only the worst of mages that would pass up the opportunity to learn more. “I hadn’t really given any thought to the matter, but given that there is electricity on campus it would make sense. However if it had been enchanted upon construction to maintain warmth it wouldn’t have made too much sense to update it,” Iron contemplated. “You know that’s actually a good question,” despite the minutia of the heating Iron marked it as something that he was going to look into. Taking a sip of coffee Iron continued on “You asked about Nialla earlier, it’s magic. He’s a music mage. Playing to campus became a habit of his last year, some people have no consideration of others.”

The two sat in a silence only interrupted by the occasional clank of silverware on plates as they indulged themselves in their foods of choice. This silence was eventually interrupted by another question from Theo, “Hey, out of curiosity... Um, is it considered rude to ask others what type of magic they use? I've never really been a part of any communities with other people who have magic, so I don't know the right way to do things. Up until I applied here, I've never even met any other people who use magic other than my uncle, and I already know his magic."

Iron slightly chuckled at the question, “It’s really a case by case basis. Some people love discussing there magic others are more reserved or maybe embarrassed by their discipline. A good mundane comparison might be discussing someone’s weight, although most girls aren’t typically offended when asked about their magic.” Iron’s previous chuckle turned into a full blown laugh as Theo reacted to the taste of his pastry, having found himself victim to the pastry in his first year it was good humor to see the reaction of someone else who found themselves on the not so fruity end of a bialy. This laugh however was cut short by a girl’s scream from over near where the food was being served, turning in his seat it took Iron only a couple of seconds to locate the cause of the scream. Morholt. The Death Knight as he was called was making his first appearance of the year and had honestly slipped Iron’s mind until now.

Turning back to the underclassmen Iron cleared his throat, “You might want to add something to your notes, Morholt,” Iron gestured to the hulking figure before continuing. “You should probably steer clear of him, he’s not the friendliest face on campus.”

@migyudon indeed welcome, hopefully you'll enjoy rping with us here at the Guild.
@RawrEspada4 What would you say to Sadie working at Footsteps Sports Bar? After reading the thing about it the thought came to me.

I'm have no issue with it at all.
Well I got my first IC post up and it was only like 9 hours later than planned.... I'm going to blame the fact that I was introducing someone to Firefly and kept getting distracted by the greatness that is Nathan Fillion.
Tommy Lomax

Location: Old Harbour, Morning

Tommy awoke to the gentle rock of the waves, having long ago dispensed with the need for alarms, the waves tended to be how Tommy woke up most mornings. Blinking the sleep from his eyes he could see the early dawn sunlight beaming through the port side windows. Getting out of bed Tommy began moving through his morning routine. Checking his phone, turning on his Keurig Mini, grabbing himself a towl, and hopping in the shower. After a quick shower Tommy dressed himself in his usual attire, a pair of dark slacks coupled with a white button-up, a black suit jacket and a pair of black oxfords. Afterwards it was just a matter of grabbing his coffee, keys, and cane, something Tommy didn’t leave home without anymore, before he disembarked from his home and made his way to the parking lot just east of the pier. Sliding behind the wheel of his Continental he turned the engine and the car purred to life. Pulling the car out of the parking lot Tommy set course for The Coffee Pot, where he would continue his morning routine with a hot breakfast and an additional two or more cups of coffee.

Location: The Coffee Pot, Morning

A short drive later and Tommy could be found in his usual spot at The Coffee Pot. This too was part of his morning routine, he had become something of a regular at The Coffee Pot. Sitting at his usual seat, in the back, it wasn’t hard to observe the other patrons on this Sunday morning. Watching other patrons come and go had become something of a habit for the retired athlete, and today was not different. This morning the café was frequented by a couple other regulars that Tommy recognized by face if not name as well as some faces that he did not recognize, including that of an overly exhausted student. Had it not been a Sunday, an early day for Footsteps, he might have been tempted to strike up a conversation with just about any of the patrons. However as it was nine weeks into the NFL season and an away game for the Icarus Angels, Footsteps beckoned and Tommy had to answer.

Location: Footsteps Sports Bar, Morning

Pulling into the employee lot behind Footsteps, Tommy’s watch read 9:38 A.M., just early enough to make sure the bar was open on time. Tommy wasn’t really needed to oversee Footsteps, he had hired more than competent cooks and wait staff, but the intent behind opening the bar had been to disrupt the monotony of retired life and letting others run it just didn’t contribute to that plan. So Tommy had made it his own personal duty to be there when Footsteps opened and when Footsteps closed as often as possible but with today being an away game for the hometown meant a higher flow of business and so Tommmy decided that he'd be spending most of this Sunday at the bar.

Using the back entrance led Tommy directly into the kitchen where Ted, one of the two cooks at Footsteps, was already hard at work prepping for the day. Tommy gave the cook a curt nod and smile as way of greeting, which was returned almost instantly. Ted wasn’t much of morning person so the Saturday and Sunday shifts typically meant that conversation was a no go until later in the day. From the kitchen Tommy moved out into the dining area where three other members of the staff were getting things set for the day. Exchanging brief pleasantries with each Tommy also set to work checking the register and making sure everything was stocked before at three minutes ‘till 10 unlocking the front door and turning the outside lights on.
Ah yes I completely forgot the two I just @'d are both on the other side of the world from me lol.

Ahhh it's only like 2:30 in the morning where they are, they're both probably still up
