Current A kind action means the world, but that doesn't mean kind words are useless. The cruelest thing a person can do in this world is to keep their kindness to themself.

Because they're trying to encourage other people. What, do you think it's 'vain' to tell a friend in the hospital you hope for their speedy recovery?

That said, I won't lie, this is a website of geeks and nerds and I don't know how many of them bother with any sport, much less baseball specifically.

All I needed to hear, have a nice day.

Bio

I live in the EST time zone. Due to work, unless I think it's important not to leave someone hanging, I will be off by 11 PM. I will rarely post daily, but I can at least guarantee I'll never give you a substance-less post.

Strange things have been happening in the Digital World lately. Digimon that go missing without a trace. Tears opening up to show the coding and structural lines of the Digital World. Eggs hatching into monsters. Digimon never seen before ravaging small villages. A small little wagon inviting in digimon who come out a bit differently. And to top it off, it seems a quarantine is being imposed by the Knights until these problems are solved. No one goes into the Digital World. No one goes out.

@MegaraFoxfire how's this look?
Long-time rper, I'll vouch for 'dead OOC' - yeah, sometimes they can be all in the IRC, but if you're in the rp and the OOC's dead, then either they're not in the IRC, or they are and haven't told you. The latter can be a symptom of poor communication that, later, will result in people getting mad at you because your character actions interfere with a plot developed in IRC that everyone knew about except you.
Related, if one player starts plotting around their character and someone else's character without notifying the other person. That's just asking for a grudge to develop.

Also vouching for the GM who won't take criticism even for a blatant logical fallacy. Like, let's say the rp's backstory would influence player's characters' backstories and personalities in a very significant way. However, the GM does not share this backstory until about halfway through the rp, and he's sharing it because he's complaining about how his 'shades of grey' are being considered purely evil and unreasonable. This being directly the result of the fact that he did not inform players of relevant information at the rp's beginning. Also related, a GM who cannot be flexible. I'm sure their plot was very interesting and epic and all, but sometimes you just have to either get VERY creative in getting the players back on track, or cede the fact that they want something else and roll with it. Insisting OOCly that they need to follow the story the GM planned in defiance of characterization, logic, and common sense should be considered a red flag and a sign to leave as fast as possible.

And, one last bit for a sign to avoid - a GM placing restrictions on player characters and then proceeding to violate those restrictions. I don't mean something like 'your characters wouldn't reasonably know about the legendary artifact we're looking for but mine does because they gathered you all here'. I mean stuff like 'no one can have an edgy past' and then writes one for their character.

I know there's a lot of focus on GMs. I'll probably post later for warning signs from players.
....when the heck was this?

And if you say Emperor, this NEVER came up before.
As someone who posts in Casual largely:

A) A day between posts isn't anything to get worried over. Sometimes, it can be a week between posts. Slow and not ideal, but not dead. If the OOC is semi-active, though, it's usually not a problem.
B) Since I signed up, I've been in at minimum 17 group rps. They're all pretty much dead now. It's a problem with group, the GM can get bored or pulled away by life, and if one person leaves, it can halt an rp entirely even if they weren't the GM, depending on what their character was doing.
C) Depending on how long a post should be, they may not be online long enough to actually respond properly, or they may have more inspiration for another rp and focus their writing there.

So personally I don't think it's a problem with just 'Free'. That aside, the mods have confirmed that it's up to GM discretion as to where your rp is and if you want to take a stab in the Casual section for a more reliable group, go ahead.
I notice you have Digimon listed. I'm willing to PM a sample of my writing, along with a couple of potential plots, but first I'd like to know if you prefer a more traditional human/digimon partner set-up or more digimon-only.

And funny image.... ah, hope this suffices?
tl;dr: EVERYONE BIOMERGE NOW PLZ
There's this station that showed up in the past couple of years that airs old tv shows. Most didn't catch my fancy, but M*A*S*H sure did.

I've watched all the way through Season 7, the start of Season 8, and the finale (long story short - college didn't get the channel, then started working). Godspeed to you, fellow fan.
In all fairness, most school rps will be largely boys unless you make it all-female, at least in my past experience. Most all-boy school rps I've seen were code for 'yaoi rp'.

... Isn't an animatronic not supposed to have a tongue?

As a matter of fact, I'm 90% sure Foxy never had a tongue before.
