Maps.. Letters.. They're all the same, right? :P

She was glad that her team, D-A more specifically, had calmed down for the most part. She quietly listened as Commander Morrison explained a little more of the mission. Guarding an objective was something Zhi-Ya was quite comfortable with, however she wasn't very good with recon or stealth. Her weaponry made way too much noise to be used in such a way, it was made to sound powerful and be powerful.

As they gathered their gear, the engineer spent some time testing her drones to make sure they were operational. they wouldn't want the drones to malfunction during an important mission like this. She couldn't help but lightly chuckle at D-A and Phoebe's comments. "Let's hope there isn't too much conflict~" She said cheerfully as she organised her mobile drone station, strapping it to her back. She gave Phoebe a curious look as she heard the other girl's mumbles, "We don't know how Talon moves, so I think it is best if we keep our minds flexible. There's no need to make solid plans for this. Keeping an open mind helps keep you out of trouble." She said, trying to reassure their team leader.
I'll post up in abit

As they moved passed the trees, Zenovia could feel the gaze of other wood elves upon her. She knew that they wouldn't hurt her, considering she was one of their kin. Also, the spirits didn't seem agitated by their presence. Perhaps they looked upon the band with curiosity. In the background she had heard The Storyteller talking to Vert, however she decided not to listen, as it had nothing to do with her.

The wood elf responded to Ivan's funny expression with a small smile, "History likes to repeat itself in interesting ways." She replied with a slight chuckle. She decided it might be a good time to start to get to know the people she was going to be travelling with, especially since this journey wasn't about the end anytime soon. "If you don't mind me asking, what did you do before being brought into this.. quest?" She inquired.

Meeting -> West Gate

So it had been decided that Vert would live. Zenovia felt a slight uneasiness wash over her as Tiberius spoke to the group. She felt a weight of responsibility suddenly cling to her. She voted white for her own selfish reasons, not for the monster that stood before them, however now there was no going back on what she had voted for. In the back of her mind, she had hoped that black votes would win, but of course, such thoughts gave her a guilty conscience. Something she didn't need as a Shaman, especially one that was to succeed her family.

She stayed behind as the others put their 'two cents' in about Vert. The Storyteller seemed quite interested in Vert's situation, however Zenovia wasn't even sure if she wanted to greet her. The mage could feel such cold emotions grip her heart like a vice. The spirits shook, perturbed by the young shaman's emotions. 'I wish they weren't so sensitive..' She sighed inwardly. It was a bad sign.

As the meeting came to a close, the young elf got up from her seat. Ivan was also on the move, however he went off in a different direction, saying that he had something to take care of. Zenovia wasn't about to pry, let alone follow her new acquaintance to where he might be headed, thus she went to go double check her supplies. Satisfied that her belongings were in check, she made her way to the West gate.

It seemed that a few of the party had made it there first. Tiberius, The Storyteller.. and the monster.. She averted her eyes from the group, choosing to keep quiet in their company. She didn't like making a scene and she didn't like being a part of it, thus silence is always a good choice in her books. Zenovia observed the spirits that floated near Vert. Despite their lack of expression, they seemed curious, excitable even. Perhaps they hadn't come across such a person in these areas before.
Got caught up in stuff, I'll post soon
He's pretty sad, Ron.

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Ivan. You can just call me Zenovia." She responded with a warm smile, repeating some of his words. So this man was a 'brawler'? It sounded a little.. rough, but he looked like he could fit the part. She went silent for a moment as she gathered her thoughts, she was still quite traumatised by the whole ordeal.
"We followed a trail to find a monster.. a-and she tried to eat me." She explained briefly, trying not to stammer, but failing. It occurred to Zenovia that she hadn't properly thanked everyone for helping her when the girl attacked. Something extra to add to the 'to-do list'.

Zenovia's gaze was drawn to the people that went up to vote. White stones.. Then black. The party seemed to be in disagreement, as she thought. Who would want to travel around with a girl that can just eat people? The elf didn't want that, but she didn't want to have anyone's blood on her hands..'How selfish..' She thought dryly.
Oswyn Ainsworth
Diver's Paradise, Western Entrance

Oswyn clicked his tongue in irritation as people began screaming for help all around. He couldn't catch a break, he just wanted to restock his potions and be gone. Obviously he picked the wrong time to be here. A familiar voice screamed nearby. It was that angry guy's voice, how interesting to hear it in such a state. The alchemist sighed as he packed up his table once again, swiftly placing everything back under the rock. It couldn't be the CMAS, they only just passed through. Perhaps it was the orb dudes? Here's a good opportunity. Interrogation time.

He shifted his gun from his back, getting it ready for a fight if need be. He quickly walked over to the nearby scream, not wanting to run as that would consume too much energy. "Can't a guy resupply in peace around here?" He grumbled as he arrived at the scene, his lab-coat fluttering dramatically in the slight breeze.
