Cat King Mantle - Novella is capable of instilling a deep sense of fear into both animals and humans upon direct and intense eye contact. Typically this manifests itself in various way. With practice, the range of his gaze can be extended.
Rule of Darkness - Novella becomes two times stronger at nightfall; four times, up to fifteen minutes after midnight. His strength falls back to two times stronger fifteen minutes after midnight and returns to normal as the sun rises. During this period, shrouds of darkness flow form his shoulders and upper arms.
King's Claws - Novella's claw are capable of cutting through any man-made material. The cutting power of his claws can also be sent out as shock waves towards his opponent, holding the innate cutting power of full-powered swing. When under nightfall, darkness shrouds his claws, burning and infecting his opponents with a temporary miasma that .
Superhuman Physiology - Novella gains superhuman strength and speed when wearing the Cat King Mantle, as well as an acute awareness of his surroundings. All of this culminates into a near extreme level of agility. At his peak he exceed speeds of seventy-five mph and can lift up to twenty tons. The Cat King's Mantle is also bulletproof against conventional ammunition and durable against Noble Arms weaponry.
Personality: Novella is an assertive teenager with a passion for saving people. He believes whole-heartedly that people can get along, despite the imaginary differences they've created. A lot of his values and beliefs came from a martial artist named Bruce Lee who broke racial barriers and introduced a lot of eastern philosophies to the west. He tries to flow with most situations, though at his core he's stubborn, self-conscious, and crude. Because of his ability to back up his talk with action, Novella is excessively prideful though he does make attempts to be humble. He has a soft side for animals, cats in particular because they taught him the value of being independent and affectionate.

Bio: The son of two nurses, Novella grew up with a deep understanding of the preservation of life. His mothers, Mary-Ann Hearth and Jackie Hearth made sure to shower him with love but also give him space to discover himself. They bought him a cat to teach him responsibility and give him companionship outside of them. Where they traveled he was close behind; trips to Africa, Australia, Russia, and Europe left him with an appreciation of the world. There was plenty of beauty around him, however, there was also strife, famine, and war. Mary-Ann Hearth, an Arms Master had a powerful place amongst her kind. She was important to the medical field, with a Noble Arms in the shape of a Stethoscope, she could pin-point illnesses and injuries in the body with unparalleled precision.
However, some Arms Masters didn't take kindly to her marrying a regular human.
Novella experienced several hate-crimes against his mothers. Where his mind was once exploring the infinity that was his reality, it quickly became closed with anger, revenge, and his own ego. For a time he shied away from people and instead found himself more and more alone. If not for Leon, his Savanna Cat, he would have walked a different path long ago. However, he was far too confused to figure it out himself, so he opened up to his mothers about his problems... eventually. Oddly enough, it was Jackie that sat him down and coerced him to let go of his fears.
He found that practicing Jeet Kune Do with her was therapeutic.
At the age of twelve his own Noble Arms bloomed into existence. A garb that actually gave him the abilities to protect his loved ones. So for a time he did that, but soon it put him on the radar of the Oregon Arms Academy. There he received some training before being recommended for Operation: Symbiosis.
