Angelo is an extremely fit individual. A man of shaggy white hair and pale skin, of shocking blue eyes and a playful countenance. He’s considered handsome by many, the boy-next-door type. He carries himself very loosely, far too carefree for a Slayer on the frontlines. Even still, it might just be the shape of his Nichirin’s guard that draws the most attention. A silver ring with lines drawn to the core. Much like a wagon wheel ‘cept one half is filled in with silver and etched with a finely depicted wolf giving it the final impression of a crescent moon. The handle is sky blue and its blade a pale white.

Typically lighthearted and good natured, Angelo presents himself as a somewhat cheeky and all-knowing sort of fellow. And if you call him out on it, he’d pout and sulk rather easily. Of course it's all jokes to him but not many are able to discern his falsehoods and truths; leading many to label him as fickle. Only he’s far more complex than that. He’s picked up ticks and quirks from his training. He carries palpable undertones of seeming distant while openly alluding to being very close to those around him. He’s adaptable to most situations (emotional or mental) and would just as quickly push someone away as he would pull them close. To a keen observer it would appear he guards his emotions tightly. That observer would be right.


》 𝖧𝖨𝖲𝖳𝖮𝖱𝖸

Angelo’s life was exceptionally sobering in its early stages. His father was a retired Demon Hunter, educated in their ways and diligent in his duty to become stronger. His mother and younger sister were gentle by nature but valued family above all else. All was normal with the exception of his unusual training regimen. Brutal hikes up verdant mountains and extended survival trips in those same woods when time permitted were frequent. But best of all was the esoteric swordsmanship that was made to fit into his days (seven days a week for five hours straight everynight). 

Though the dangers of demons were always prevalent and his father’s involvement with the Hunters were wide-spread, the topic seemed to go unspoken in the Sayer household. Despite that, with his training and skills steadily growing, it seemed almost guaranteed that Angelo would join the Demon Hunters. Like a thread drawn tight towards the horizon. He even had a chance to prove his medal against one; if only he had hold of a nichirin sword to finish the monster off. He was lucky dawn had approached and the sun had scared it off. His younger sister was particularly proud of his chance encounter.

She bragged about him to her school mates, standing proud and smug. And for the first time in a long time she leapt into his arms. It was nice to be a source of pride for her.

When he turned sixteen he left to join the Demon Hunters under the recommendation of his father. There he learned that his father was a skilled Water Breath user who had fallen out with the Western Branch over his heretical musing over Moon Breathing transcripts and scrolls. 

Those worn scrolls, incomplete and inferior as they were, happened to be the foundation for Angelo’s current Moon Breathing techniques. Even a century later the tales of Kokushibo holds a terrible grasp over the style. A sinister grip that strangles one's tolerance for it. It was only a matter of time before the stigma fell upon him as well.

Luckily, Angelo was prodigious at his job. A skilled Slayer for his time and his Moon Breathing techniques were a gift and powerful asset. Most of all though, there was deep transcendental coldness about him when determined to kill. He’d made many reckless maneuvers to get his targets and his muscular structure seems flexible and limber enough to pull off those difficult snap-like movements. So was it such a wonder when the rumor of a Hashira having eyes for him started to circulate. Start to spread like a wildfire. ‘He’s to be made a successor.’

Some have commented that ‘It’s like he was born for killing Demons.’

Moon Breathing expresses itself most potently in the form of various chaotic blades. They appear like spontaneous crescent moons along the arc of the user’s chosen technique. One’s mastery of this particular style is judged by the amount of control he or she might have over these seemingly random blades. Couple that with the extraordinary concentration and unearthly form it takes to perform the moves and Moon Breathing becomes more trouble than it's worth. Many have ushered it close to the legend of Sun Breathing, and since Angelo’s emergence have begun calling it nigh unbeatable one-on-one.


FIRST FORM [DARK MOON - EVENING PALACE]: A single, near-instant draw of the sword is accompanied by a mass of chaotic blades. This deals great damage when done on a single opponent and light cuts when attempted on a crowd.
SECOND FORM [PEARL FLOWERS MOONGAZING]: While not as fast or powerful as DARK MOON - EVENING PALACE this technique's strength is drawn forward from its relentlessness. Several strokes, multiplied by the chaos that is Moon Breathing barrages his opponent with gruesome precision.
THIRD FORM [LOATHSOME MOON - CHAINS]: Two powerful strokes of the blade are made against the opponent, within these powerful strokes are the chaos blades; whittling away at his opponent's natural endurance and foretelling a false rhythm of the users making.
