What she always does, watching from the shadows and awaiting the perfect opportunity to either seize power or learn interesting knowledge. She'd rather avoid direct conflict since she shares the pain she inflicts upon others.
She's a manipulator and spy as opposed to someone that exerts their strength and power upon others directly in combat, after all.
