@rivaan

I should steal that as a Tech ability for my character; "Cookie Spam!" temporarily disables enemy software!

Also, I have been thinking of adding Advanced First Aid as a skill to Vella. Given her background and how often her old gang tended to injure themselves, it'd probably make sense for it to be a mandatory skill to say the least! xD

DW, Vella will bring the needles!!!
Okay, so two 7 to 8 foot tall Krogans, three over 6 ft Turians, an average human female, Ellis and his Mechsuit, at about 7.5-8 ft, a 5.5 ft tall Asari, a couple average Quarians, and I'm assuming batarians are about the same height as Turians. Good god. Big group.

Actually, Vella is more like 6.8ft xD

I'll keep that imagine in mind if I ever wanna change Vella's height in the future! <3
Adrianne surveyed the scene.

Or rather, the total chaos all around. She could see blood splatters, limbs and body parts everywhere. Most of the cultists, either panicked or confused, were running around without a plan, trying to get to cover as they were mercilessly picked off by the supportive fire.

It was a macabre scene, but that was but a small speck of what Adrianne truly felt behind her skeletal mask. Within the carnage and violence of the scene, she could feel the warp all around; the thin veil of fabric separating the materium from the mad realm of the warp weakening in all the bloodshed and chaos. The tear imbued with the primal human emotions for the cultists themselves, and the hatred carried by those whom gunned them down.

Adrianne took a step forward, not concerned by the cultists as they scrambled all around; too busy to pay her any heed.

She raised one hand up, deepening her consciousness as she attempted to touch that which no mortal mind should be able to. Reaching into the immaterium, she began to sense the currents flowing around her, a process that allowed her to feel the raw emotion and sensation of the moment. Though she could not see him, she sensed a terrified man huddled behind a heavy steel container 10ft to her right. Another man who had participated in the uprising was lying another 15ft to the left, shot but not dead; stunned; and though he did not scream, Adrianne could feel the raw terror, confusion and pain all emanating from his still body as his mind tried to make sense of it all. These emotions as well as their hosts meant little however, beyond their purpose as conduits to the warp. They were like flickering torches in a dark cave, burning bright for a moment, illuminating the way, before finally giving away, and dying forever.

Twisting her hand, Adrianne began to tear in the web of power and emotion, suddenly causing a sickening sensation to flow out across the entire yard.

Harold could sense it the most, as if parts of his body suddenly went on to live their own lives, like an arm suddenly feeling icy cold, whilst an ear felt hot like coal. As if his guts were moving, and his perception and balance were occasionally tilted, as if an unnatural presence had invaded his mind! It could be felt by the cultists as well. Adrianne spied in the corner of her eyes one of the cultists, hiding behind cover with a stubgun, looking at her with an expression of utter confusion as she simply walked around the battlefield as if she was in a different world, before he suddenly clutched his forehead as the sensation reached him, leaning to his left as the sickening feeling took hold.

Adrianne, so focused on her scrying, continued to twist her hand, sending out ever more unnatural waves of emotion, before she finally stopped; her eyes widening for a moment behind her mask, before suddenly narrowing on a fortified vehicle bay on the other side of the yard.

"I think I have found our anomaly." She suddenly spoke on her intercom, moving a finger up to touch the side of her helmet.
"I can feel an agent in the warp over at the old Vehicle Bay, an anomaly. I do not know what it is, but it may be feeding on on the nexus of emotions we have created."
@Rithy You wouldn't be wrong https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ja4v-qiFvBg

I imagine that being like a thing every time the team makes a dramatic entrance into a room!

Vella: "EVERYBODY FREEZE! THE A-TEAM IS HERE!"
Rykarn: "Yeah... any idiot that doesn't want to die should probably drop now. Just saying."
Tiberius: *Bonk* "Owww, my head... !"
Vella: " ... " *Stare*
Rykarn: " ... " *Stare*
"I take it you have never dealt with an angry bureaucracy, have you?" Vella said jokingly towards Sicaria, tilting her head playfully as she eyed the turian lady, yet her eyes seemed to betray a deeper intent as they spied her person.
"Hell hath no fury like a bureaucrat whose papers are spilled... or something along those lines. In short, they can make your life a living hell!"

Vella added as she eyed the turian, studying her with a brief but intense stare. Sicaria, as she was called, was an odd thing. She could sense somewhat of an inner paradox with her, a side of peace, and a side of chaos, that seemed to constantly vie with each other. It became evident the way she looked, the way she walked; harsh, aggressive movements intertwined with moments of unusual calm.

It was exciting, Vella thought. Sicaria felt like a storm that could blown either way, all depending on how events took place!

"Does anyone else have anything to add? If not, we move out."

Vella would pause to look over at Aegon, raising a black glove.

"What sort of personnel do we expect to meet? Pencil-pushers, mall-security, or elite combat personnel? Do we expect them to soil their pants the moment we open the door or fight till the last man/woman/thing, sir?" Vella asked as she cast a glance over at Aegon, curious what sort of resistance they would expect.

If someone told her there would be 200 enemies waiting down there, it did not matter much if they were underpaid security personnel who would surrender the first moment someone kicked in the door and shouted harsh words at them and hurt their feelings.

It tended to be a good idea to know your enemy, at least to a degree, whether you were going up against a bunch of part-time thugs or a dedicated death-cult or somesuch. She had heard rumours of the Cerberus indoctrination; capable of turning a peace-loving anti-war carebear into a relentless, unstoppable killing machine with zero emotions and unable to understand even the very concept of ´surrender´; and all in the matter of hours!

"The name is Vella by the way!" Vella suddenly said, suddenly nodding her head at Sicaria with a coy smile that did not match with her aggressive war tattoos at all!
"Or you can just call me Vel, heh."

@Deos Morran

Ssshh! It's a trap!

Tiberius is going to have hell with all sorts of low ceilings or doors! Don't make your character suffer the same fate! xD
@rivaan!

You're here too!?! :D
<Snipped quote by Mega Birb>

Hey, there's always Vella! XD

And Phalanx if you count it

Vella is bestest friend ^^

She's always up for a party!
*CURSE YOUUUU DOUBLE POST!*
"Yes sir!" "Yes Sir!"

Vella replied automatically to Aegon's reprimands, as if she had done so a million times before. Which; answering to angry officers with a stick up their rears; was something she had indeed done a million times before! There was a slight grin on her face, her yellow eyes narrowing.

Aegon's hard-ass act made her just more excited for the mission. The spectres were; even if only in appearance; acting serious about this mission. And it was Cerberus on top of it all. This was like a dream come through for any dedicated linebreaker in the Lance of Light!

"I do not mind if the cerberus human takes the front." Vella added at Ellis's request.

Indeed, she did not mind. But not because she was afraid any of her defences would fail her. Rather, because she was not any particularly worried about Ellis's safety.

Should it it turn out that Ellis ended up knocking on the door and should it turn out that Cerberus just happened to have a big anti-vehicle(and anti-traitor) laser tactically positioned directly on the other side of said door, Vella wouldn't be too much traumatised if Ellis were to be instantaneously vaporised in an awesome laser show!

Vella simply turned and dragged her plastic duffle bag closer as she threw an offbeat smirk at Phalanx and the Infiltration team.

"You guys give Cerberus a good one in the rear for me, okies?" She giggled as she pulled out a stashed belt of X-rated stun grenades.
