You don't have to change your character for the boys' sake. It's part of the drama.
I can see a love triangle between Gigi, Darian, and Lena, and Melanie ending up with the person that (finally) is comparable with her. Boys have no one :D
Beryl is probably going to end up all alone... So sad...
