I try to find text that I [personally] think matches with what I have read on them thus far and what goes well with the provided quote stuff. Music helps a lot too to get the image I need in my head.

I bet she's adorable!No, it's not one liners, but it's definitely a short post in which what your character has to say and his or her thoughts and movement/expressions are central. I suppose it could be difficult to drive a conversation like that unless there is a strong subject matter to lead it, but there will be. I've also been thinking about including tiny notes that state what new timelines that I introduce are for, their purpose, so that there is no confusion about that. For example, 'character interaction', 'private character development', 'story progression', 'reaction', and so on.Anyway, as an example, you could easily post short dialog posts by including a reaction from your character, a statement or reflection, and then a specific or open-ended question to someone else or everyone. It's a lot of take and give. When it comes to things like this, which is quite important and perhaps the cornerstone of what we're doing, I can see how some people are extremely allergic to when every character in the play is an emo or whatever, a loner, and doesn't want to say anything. Dialog is, after all, one of the primary ways of showing your character's personality.There will be an opportunity for this at the end of my next post, when Anima's character is introduced and who the main antagonist is/will be. There will be plenty of things to talk about as a group, and that's the key thing to remember here — 'as a group'. Collaborations are still the best way to do lots of dialog between two or three people.

I get what you're referring to and it'll probably be easier to do with situations that require the dialogue sorts. I'm sure the upcoming reveal will be a good test run for it.

@Rockette: Congrats for your niece! I had that feeling when my older brother and his wife had their first born. It's quite weird at first since I was just 17 years old back then and haven't been realizing that I'm already an uncle. I'm sure she's absolutely adorable as what Prisk said ;)

I have a nephew as well, but I don't see him often, unfortunately. I'm not as close with his parents as I am with my niece's.
It just makes me feel incredibly old. These are my younger siblings and they're getting married and having children already.

D'aw. Speaking of little ones, I gained a niece yesterday. Another reason why I've been away. She was borne a month and a half early, so I've been up at the hospital.
But I'll post for Kylmi soon once I finish some other revisions and graphics.

Sorry I've been away! I don't air out personal matters [or try not to] but emergencies came up! I now have a niece [!] and I've been up at the hospital, she was borne a month and a half early [complications on my brother's fiance of carrying to term] so she's in NICU for a little while.

On the current subject manner: I'm sure it'll be required for quick exchanges of conversation rather. It won't bother me to do so, it'll be a first though on my part.
Give us an example of what you're thinking about, Prisk?

Okay, so this is great. JJ is officially more involved in this than I am, which makes me feel terrible. Thanks JJ, darling, I love you. But it has inspired me to to a decision that I'm happy with, which is that I've split the story into three parts instead of two. I'm all about revising my projects and starting out fresh when the majority of the ground work has been established. So, what was previously 'part 2' is now 'part 3' instead, just to make it clear. I'll make new thread for part two with lots of improvements and re-written codex stuff and other such things, perhaps even a new character sheet thread. I think renewal and revision is crucial to keeping interest.Most of my next post is written, I'm just waiting for Anima's part of it.Edit: Oh, also, I found this short flashback that I wrote some time ago but never included in the IC for some reason I can't remember. It probably wasn't good enough or it didn't really add anything. Anyway, thought I'd post it here instead, as it's slightly humorous and stupid. It's just a tiny scene with Olivia and Britney. Also comes with appropriate portrait pictures and music. Take that JJ!!

JJ is a pro at finding pictures, believe me. I've felt the same you have!
Whatever you decide with 'part 2' - I'll be right there with ya'.
On another note, it's six in the morning and I just got home and it is absolutely freezing in my apartment. This is madness.

I've been reading some of your posts but still, not a single decent idea was formed into my mind or maybe my long absence is just keeping me away from formulating ideas to write. But I'll get through it somehow.And Prisk, I've been thinking about the flashback I've promised you. Well, I have some few ideas. I'll pm you whenever I've fleshed them out and we'll decide whether to choose the best one or maybe we could just combine them all into one. Also, Happy 1000th OOC post!
