The Jewel of the East. | β« The youngest of the Volerailes children and known famously for her uniqueness of golden eyes, reminiscent of her favored bird's grace; a bay of secrets therein that glimmer in resplendent hues of an aged wisdom, a chasm of clandestine charm that bears the utter adoration of her family. Spoiled of life and love, Liliane has been delicately sheltered most of her life, having never left the Lustre keep, eternally swarmed under her mother's protection and penchant for superstition and tutored in the Old Ways and worship of the Old Gods. Liliane possesses the endearment and curse of a 'song bird': bound within a gilded cage and woefully ignorant of what lies beyond the keep's spires and mountains yonder Anatol's lands. Beauty and grace, untouched and unspoiled by life, never knowing hardship and revered for her purity of heart. Liliane adores her family, and her faithful companion, an Argentavis named Bella, as all Volerailes keep a bird of prey as their trusted vessels of worship and connection to The Lord of the Air. |

Known once as The Silver Lady, Nicola is a mysterious figure through history, carrying with her an avid worship of the Old Gods and various superstitions that have followed her from the North, to which she has passed on to her children. She hails from an ancient family known as Shardae, said to be among the first to occupy the snowy peaks and valleys, a vast land dotted with ruins of castles and homes, taken over by eternal snow. The Shardae family is a curious sort, being the rulers of the North, but happily permitting the likes of Emmerich to scour through their lands when he first crossed over into their territory. From then on, Nicola followed his path carefully. Such mutterings and worries were later answered in the bargain of matrimony, where whispers tell of Nicola choosing Emmerich for herself rather than settling for any other lord yearning for her hand. In trade for land and riches, Nicola happily took it upon herself to combine their families, effectively binding the North and East as one. Nicola possesses no bird as a companion, but rather a large, white female lion that shadows her every step. |

Nikon, being the second oldest, but also a twin, has earned a rather infamous reputation for himself among Tenebre and all Vieran royalty. A bit of a rake with a rather crude disposition, acting often upon his wants and whims with little reservation for his family name. Per the suggestion of his parents, he inducted himself into the Tenebre military to prevent himself from becoming too unhinged. He was knighted at a young age and sworn into the Falconae order, a unique branch in the Tenebre army that specializes in guerrilla tactics with shock and awe warfare, indicated by their specialized armor made entirely of Obscurm, allowing them to blend in seamlessly with their surroundings. The Falconae also brandish spears and lances rather than swords, all made from Obscurm. Nikon favors the Lord of Fire, known as Bruleto, told to be found in the deepest reaches of the earth, where a core of magma writhes as his domain. Nikon's companion of choice is a Peregrine Falcon named Baldon. |
