There's a fine line between 'Yells a lot and then wrecks house for no apparent reason' Vestec, and this one.

Namely, that line is the 'Thou shalt not Godmod' and 'Fair warning' rule. :P Vestec can only be so chaotic when I make sure I'm not godmodding and what not. :p

Why hinder their plans, the Cimex to be Exact. They plan to go to war with human, now that I see that the Dyun have wiped out. I have plans that will end up forcing the Uri onto the cusp os Civil war, with the help with of some subliminal Chaos, and an alliance with the Uri and Humans to fight a bloody war to kill the Cimex King. Corrupting the Uri leaders is a help to the story, but hindering the plans of the Cimex, I don't understand.

Well you see, Vestec doesn't know any of this. All he sees is a perfectly orderly race that he's largely ignored so far. He doesn't want them to cause Chaos on their own! He wants them to be under his control.

Now if Arguis was to ask Vestec to not mess with the Cimex so all this might happen, he MIGHT listen and not interfere. Maybe. If Arguis is a smooth talker and offers a very good deal. Even then it's iffy.

TBH it's not going to be that much of a fight. The Dyun are largely wiped out. Between the Endless Winter, the Endless Darkness(and the monsters that came with it), and their basic intelligence, most of the Dyun died.
