I appear to have shown up at a good time. Thanks to the suggestions by Rtron and Loki I have decided upon my demigod having the domain of War and the portfolio of Strategy. And apparently the father will be Vestec from what I gathered.

Edit: Unless there is someone who would be better suited.

It's a joke. If you want someone else you can. :p
Why bother? It'll just be Vestec as usual. :P

....I mean you're not wrong.

Vestec practically has dibs on it.
My name is Malchivo, as I am sure you noticed. You can call me Mal or anything you desire so long as I can tell you are speaking to me. To make a long story short I was speaking with Kho and asked him if there were any domains/portfolios that he would recommend I pursue. This was to ensure that I pick one that will benefit the RP at large and not be something just to make me a special snowflake. He recommended that I bring the question to the group as a whole, since I will get more options that way. So I suppose that is the crux of the matter, what recommendations for Domain and portfolio would all of you recommend for a new demigod?

Well Mal, we don't have a god of war anymore. Nor have we a god of seas, deceit, or darkness

We could use justice or vengeance too.

DAMN IT REATHOS YOU THOUGHT OF EVERYTHING

Except for an actual afterlife yeah. But don't worry! Vestec has that covered for a quarter of the dead souls.

For real though Jvan doesn't want to steal something that's already showing an interesting development. When she realises that Vestec had a cultural plan for the undead army deeper than 'let's make one' she's going to be REALLY pissed, because even though she'll never admit it to anyone, it's actually too good an idea to spoil.

She'll probably do something petty instead.

Ed: Also, by resurrection I mean 'clone DNA harvested from frozen and fossilized remains of the last war'. In terms of souls and reincarnation and all that jazz, these are an entirely new batch of ice people, fresh out of the oven.

...Or fridge, rather.

Oooooh. I thought you meant that Jvan was going to stop by The Wraith Stone and return all of Vestec's army to life.

On a side note, when Pronobii die they turn into piles of ice. I'm sure Jvan can just magic the DNA she needs though.
@BBeast I'm still behind, but I just want to congratulate you on an A+ representation of Sculptors. A little freaky, a little lighthearted, inquisitive, now chatty now solemn. Teknall judged them well.

noW FOR SOME DABBLECHEMY

(or I might develop Three Rosettes or Margos they seem nice)

Speaking of! All this talk of Pronobii got me thinking about how I'm going to eventually resurrect them and let me tell you, cryomancy and biochemistry are a real interesting combination.

Jvan needs those bastards, there are all kinds of [ c o l d p l a c e s ] she wants to spread her influence into. I'm going to have her start sneakily re-activating before her allotted resurrection time so that I can get to the ideas I keep having.

Hmm that'll annoy Vestec. He wants everyone to fight over the undead army damn it! He'll probably retaliate, causing a whole other mess.

I would suggest Jvan just make a deal with him, but we know that's not going to happen.
@BBeast

I thought that the Avatar of Reathos and the Pronobi were dead and gone at some point after their creator died, what with the Wraith Stone being moved and everything. Granted I think there are some dwarves in the general area of the mountain the Stone is kept now, but Farxus hasn't really talked with them personally yet.

Either way, I think Farxus smells enough like their old master to not be bothered.

And you are correct in that I was inspired by Terry Pratchett.

The Guardians of Death follow the Avatar. Which is insane and has an intense desire to kill, well, everything. Vestec wants people to start going after the artifacts of death, so he spread the legend that if you collect all of them and bring them to the vault, an undead army of super killers will be yours. The only catch is that you have to kill the Avatar first.

I'm sure Farxus could just hide from the Avatar with magic. Make it think he's dead or something. It's not terribly bright. But 'You smell like my dead master' bit won't work for the bloodlust insane mechanical monstrosity.
“Everyone. Get your asses to the Bridge..”

Serena looked up from the Kite's (now known as Nimble Nancy) operating systems and frowned. There was an uncharacteristic degree of seriousness in Drono's tone which couldn't mean anything but trouble. Shooting a questioning look at Tanya, she climbed out of the ship and quickly headed towards the bridge. Whatever it was, it wasn't going to be good.

She stood next to Vellios, smiling briefly at the sight of the detonator Drono was fiddling with. Her smile quickly disappeared as Drono began talking, elaborating on just how he had gotten shot in the back and just how bad his situation was. She didn't move as a spasm went through him, watching Vellios react faster than she could hope to. She continued to listen mostly to Drono, mind moving a mile a minute. Eclipse. That'll mean mechs. Possibly biotics, though given the fact that it's two men the chances are slim. Even if they do my damping should be more than sufficient for them. Local thugs won't be a problem, provided they're the usual kind. Tanya, Dex, and I are all have ways to disable the mechs without too much trouble.

She glanced at Vellios as he began rattling off his questions, already intent upon the mission. Or as intent as he allowed himself to be. Aww, he really does care. She stepped forward, holding up four fingers. "So, those four things," She looked at Vellios and smirked at him, holding out her thumb to make a five. "And five is how soon do you want to deal with Yestin. After you get fixed, and we will get you fixed, he's going to know who you're running with. That means he's going to start gunning for us to get to you. I'd rather deal with him before we get weekly attacks by the Eclipse or other mercs. But that's more pressing after we get you in and out of Layfayette." She paused for a moment, thinking.

"Since it's Eclipse we can assume there'll be mechs and possibly biotics. Dex, Tanya, and I can take care of the mechs pretty easily. If they're low end Eclipse we'll even be able to take their mechs from them. I can suppress their biotics too, if they even have them. After that it'll be the usual job of shooting them before they can shoot us. Though that's assuming the local thugs they hired are the usual kind and they didn't hire a metric crap ton of them." Serena smiled at Drono, trying to reassure him. "You're not going to die. I promise."

This underlined section screams otherwise! :P Everyone who wasn't them had earplugs so if any of them jumped in, they are immune to her scream! XD

WHich is disabled anyways, but that's not the point. If anyone jumps in again maeve and kiara's already outnumbered selves they wouldn't have been affected by the scream in the first place.
<Snipped quote by Rtron>

*doesn't point out that it would make Maeve's scream in combat useless if everyone had earplugs too*

Only direct PVP. Kiara didn't give them to their enemies. :p
