Current I'm a pretty good writer and former site staff; I still deal with imposter syndrome every time I log on. You're definitely not alone. And t's worth trying anyway.

I just finished The Secret History, a very Gen X book. Never Let Me Go before that, which I'd recommend to any writer outside the MFA atmosphere who wants to know emotonal restraint.

I'll be looking to see if I can join. What's the airport like? Are the Zombies your standard zombies?

The airport is a small municipal airport with a runway large enough for smaller craft. It has several hangars, including one large hangar, a terminal building with tower, as well as a fuel farm.

Standard zombies, yes.
A bit more interest and we'll start putting together the OOC.

Thanks!
Those are both a tad tame.
Closer.
We weren't fighting! ^_^

I'm much too violent for THAT to be considered fighting.

As the third party looking in, I really don't see why this discussion is still going on. You two either have bad blood between the two of you or are going to constantly be in disagreement. I frankly don't see how having Ruby apply for a character now is going to be advantageous. That's not to be discouraging, I mean Ruby if you're going to put forth a character I really do hope you'll be staying with us.But this constant bickering isn't productive for the RP, and it can't continue. So Ruby if you're going to put a character forth please do, but if you are just going to leave for another RP then I must ask you to leave.

This is downright intrusive. Seriously, in all my years on the Guild I've NEVER ran into an issue of "don't join because you MIGHT leave."

The snarky tone is completely unnecessary and creates an uncivil environment, stop it. I understand life issues or such; but if you prioritize another game I can't really trust a player who has trouble discerning what role-play they want to be a part of.

You want something written I won't drop the game or that I'll make this one my top priority?

You're joking, right?

Cough. My plan. Cough.

Whatever.

The point of picking a character is to have short or long term goals set with them, to have at least 1 arc setup that the player will try to see through to the end. As GM I should have faith in the player that they will not abandon their character choices (or at least not until one arc is finished). A guideline assuredly, but it's one to ensure the game is healthy. I'm sorry you see that as something you can't agree to, I hope your other role-playing pastures are greener and more palpable to what you want out of them.

No kidding. Really? Wow, I didn't know that.

I can't give anyone a special promise I won't drop a game if something comes up. Asking otherwise is, frankly, unreasonable.

Technically, this was me doing the giving. Just Sayin.

Yeah, 'cause you're the GM that had to postpone their IC opener, right?
