Current I just came out from watching The Last Act at my local cinema. It was something. It was really something.

27 years old today. Only three years of my 20s left. Where did all that time go?

So apparently, if you use a tooth with a filling in it to chew toffee, the toffee can become sicky enough to pull the filling out.

The instant he noticed the huntress's expression turn cold at his explanation, Sir Shane knew he had chosen his words poorly. When the woman proceeded to express her anger through words of her own, the knight took a step back from the table and shook his head at the accusation that all he cared for were the imports. "Of course the people matter to me." Sir Shane replied when Elaine was done speaking. "I am a Knight of Stormhelm. Bound by oath, honor, and duty to give aid and protection to those who need it. Wherever I find them. And even if I wasn't so sworn, I would do so regardless simply because it is the right thing to do."

He had thought that such things went without saying. But now that he was thinking about it, hindsight reminded him that the Knights of Stormhelm and their code of chivalry didn't have as much of a presence in the Dales as they did elsewhere. The Red Marshals were usually more than enough to keep peace in the Dales, so Sir Shane's order often turned their attention to other lands when questing. With that in mind, it started to make sense that some things might not have been as obvious to those who knew less about them.

How goes the moving?
I'll certainly take the experience point from Socially Inept. Also I'd like to make a case for Devotion: Knight of Stormhelm to be of use here.

As a Knight of Stormhelm, Sir Shane commonly has dealings with the nobility. With quite a few nobles tending to be the duplicitous sort who rarely say what they mean, Sir Shane would have a fair amount of practice in matters of insight from having to read them for their true intentions.

Should you find that an acceptable justification, the result of my roll is a 7.

Now that I think about it, perhaps a Tie between Luka and Mister MegaTen is in order. What do you think of...

Since you haven't called for any kind of Move to be made in the nine days since my last post, would I be correct in guessing that Luka automatically succeeds in getting Mister MegaTen to follow him?
Sir Shane returned the smile as best he could. But despite his best efforts, it was a shaky, unstable think that looked ready to tumble back into complete nervousness at any moment. Sir Shane tried to hold the huntress's gaze as he listened intently to what she had to say about the rumors, but he could never meet her eyes for more than a few seconds before his gaze began to rapidly flick between various different spots on her face, glance off to his left or right for a moment, then return back to her eyes for a few seconds before repeating the cycle all over again.

"Would you tell me why you're asking?"

The question jolted Sir Shane out of the loop he'd worked himself into. He stammered incoherently for a brief moment before regaining his mental footing enough to give a reply. "I umm... I'm on a quest." Sir Shane explained. "I have come south from Stormhelm to investigate these rumors after the Shiverwash carried them to the city. The rivermen are acting a lot more... superstitious than usual because of the rumors, and the nobles are worried about how that might affect the imports that flow from the Dales. My quest is to learn the truth of these rumors and solve whatever is happening here before the rivermen stop bringing goods to Stormhelm for fear of whatever it is that is going on."
