Meirin Kurenai

Meirin has been at big parties before, the College hosts them from time to time. But here at Djarkel, everything just felt so much more... Different. Not friendly at least. Having spent all her life in Djarkel, she has seen it's good and bad side, and she knows it's unfair for her to judge Djarkel's nobility. But see has seen the poor, ruined husks of villages she had to escort travelers through, the ragged and deranged bandits who were once just townsfolk trying to get anything to stave off hunger, and here she was, dressed in clothing that could buy her land, eating food that could feed a whole village for months. She was always aware of the difference between the upper, middle, and lower class, but this would be the first time that Meirin realized just how prosperous Djarkel can be, considering how poor she usually saw it.

And it made her a bit angry too. These people had all this luxuries, and who benefits the most from it? Certainly not the ones who fight and die for it. She didn't even see any guardsmen here. And Meirin wondered if this was normal for all nobility. Taking deep breaths, Meirin had to calm herself. This was a diplomatic mission. She had handled diplomats before. And she knew about Djarkel culture, at least a little bit. It was a good thing that Ssarak wasn't here, because Meirin was going to have to show a side of her that she seldom liked to show; her haughty side.

While the other girls had dressed quite fancily, with some like Lyn using actual magic, Meirin's dress was both well crafted, made of top quality materials, and emphasized her figure. Namely, her dress showed off a generous amount of bust, hugging her curves so tightly that one could almost see the muscles through her dress. Her shoulders were exposed and it looked like that any strenuous movement would cause her dress to fall, though thanks to the craftsmen at the college, that would never happen. There was a slit on the side of her dress that went all the way up to her waist, showing off her leg and stocking, as well as allowing her silken shoes to be more predominately displayed. But while her dress may look more appropriate for a courtesan then nobility, she also wore a silken body suit underneath, thus showing no skin, with golden embroideries of the college's emblem placed where her skin would have been seen. A combination of modesty with sexual appeal, just as Meirin liked.

Among the accessories she carried, she also had a parasol. This was not a hidden weapon, though the canopy was made of harden silk layers, good enough to catch blades without allowing a clean cut. But this parasol had a different purpose, and that was the intricate runes carefully carved onto the cloth. These runes simply glowed in a multitude of colors, but if need be, Meirin could control the color and image the rune showed if she had to incorporate her skills into a performance. As far as Meirin was aware of, rune magic usually is done on solid things like metal or stones. To see that the college could inscribe such things onto cloth would certainly interest many Djarkel barons.

As such she approached Sighard of the Wyvern Hills. She could smell the alcohol off of him, but he was neither drunk or pleased. It seemed that he hasn't quite found the poison he was looking for yet. Looking at the collection of chalices, Meirin could recognized a few of the scents from her time in alchemy class. Getting a good idea of what he has tried, she approached the old baron. "Greet's my lord. I am Meirin Kurenai of the Twilight College. May I entertain your company?" Meirin said with an air of arrogance, as if she was implying that Sighard was bored or even boring.

Myrn Vaan'Atisha

Myrn had been quiet the entire time they arrived in Yarosmere. It was just all so... Horrible. Scenes of death and destruction everywhere, and though Myrn has seen first hand what sort of power a maliced Naga can unleash, she was more sad than scared looking at them. Myrn's relationship with the naga was little, and Mar was hardly the most pleasant woman she's ever had to interact with, but even they don't deserve this. The torture they were suffering at the hands of the Yarosmere were better fit for demons, not human beings. But maybe now they're nothing more than monsters, pretending to be humans.

Things didn't get any better when they arrived to the market for a meal. Suddenly they were attacked, and Myrn had her weapon drawn to fight. E'nasha was taken into a portal, followed by Baulder. Baulder, for some reason, sicked John on Aramir. Myrn and Mar quickly cut off John's path, and in Myrn's instances, intended to cut off John's head. "Mar you aren't safe here! Go to the portal and beat the shit out of Baulder, we'll figure out what's going on here!" AS Myrn slashed at John, she tried to also give Mar a path straight towards the portal. She knew that Mar wasn't very good at walking still, and would need as much of a clear path as she could get.
The backstory of some inane side character from what I've gleamed.
Hibiki & Shizuka

Soon everyone arrived to the meeting point including Bastion. Hibiki didn't really have the chance to tell her but she was glad that Bastion was coming along. She wanted to tell her that she won't fail her this time, but before Hibiki could get that chance Bastion already left. However it seemed like Bastion wasn't here to assist Hibiki with her operation but was one a separate mission herself. Admittedly Hibiki was rather intimidated by Bastion, knowing first hand what she's capable of as well as being the Queen's Treasure. But leaving Bastion along deep in enemy territory didn't seem like a very good idea to Hibiki. Turning to her sister, Shizuka's concerned look shared the same thoughts.

But now wasn't the time to worry about that. Marquis was providing covering fire from above which meant that for now Hibiki had Tatiana to help her and Shizuka. Fortunately Queen Eos also came through with some information, namely a more detailed map of the fortress. "Thank you!" She said to herself as she gave the information a quick scan. With this map offering a better detail of the area as well as the most up-to-date information about the battle Hibiki could get a good idea of what's going on. Grafdakka and Endian were doing their job distracting the demon and angelic forces, however it seemed that practically all the demons have already been destroyed. This would prove problem some since now the angels can focus their attacks on Grafdakka, depriving them of a much needed distraction. Even more worrisome a very powerful enemy has arrived, some sort of purple clad warrior, perhaps a Valkyrie. From what the reports showed not only was she quite agile she was capable of creating miniature black holes and teleportation. It reminded Hibiki of Victoire, and she didn't want anything to do with that.

Calling over the command communications Hibiki gave the air support quick orders. "Do not engage near Grafdakka's position. That is an enemy you cannot defeat. Focus on maintaining disruption and covering fire over the angel's fortress. Marquis keep an eye on that fight and tell update me on anything that happens." Unlike the other commander Hibiki couldn't afford to lose air superiority. It was her only backup plan if for some reason the teleporters don't work. The bomber jets did as commanded, quickly retreating the front lines to do strafing and bombing runs on the fortress itself. They mainly focused around areas where the Killa Kans were active, dropping gas bombs there to deal with the angel defender, or carefully shooting the angels with their guns. They didn't risk firing missiles less they hit their own troops.

With that out of the way now it was time for the infiltrators to be off. Using the information and map that Eos had provided her Hibiki sent similar data to everyone else so they could see what she saw. Hibiki was keeping track of enemy movements while being fed data by the recon plans flying in the distance, as well as whatever else Queen Eos would provide her. In the map that she sent everyone Hibiki highlighted a location. "Queen Eos mentioned that this area has a high concentration of power which would be the best place for us to put our explosives. For now we must continue to search for the storage hold but be wary of enemies as well as Bastion. I believe she's on her own mission here and we must do our best not to directly interfere." Hibiki released a few of her repair drones, small ball like robots who she doesn't actually need to repair anything right now. What she actually wanted them to do was scout, utilizing their small size and the chaos around them to search the area for the supplies they're looking for. Once they were gone Hibiki led the others into the Angel's fortress.

It wasn't long before the machina infiltrators were deep into the base. Sure enough most of the angels were concerned about the front lines, and with the bomber jets causing destruction elsewhere they divided up the angel's forces away from Hibiki and the others. It was also now that Hibiki's drones found the teleporter room so surely the supplies were nearby as well. But now Hibiki could also head in the direction of that power source Queen Eos had mentioned and during this chaos it may be the best time to plant the bombs. Hibiki made a quick decision and chose to head towards the teleporter room. If this fortress was being powered by something that strong then she was almost certain that it would be well protected. The teleporter room should be less guarded since normally only angel's have access to it, but with Shizuka on their side they could sabotage it. "Mark this location on your map. This way leads to the power source Queen Eos mentioned, but we'll come back for that later. Let's secure the teleporter first and then we can prepare the demolition later."

Following the path the drones had taken the team eventually arrived to their destination. There was a large, runic circle on the ground and surrounding it was various containers, no doubt supplies from Ruthria. However it wasn't as unguarded as Hibiki had hoped and there were at least five guards here. Nothing they couldn't handle, but they had to be quick and quiet. Who knows if they could trigger some sort of an alarm that would blow their entire cover. Two guards were flying in the air in decent cover, watching the only entrance into the room. Another two stood guard next to the runic circle on the ground and the last one was patrolling the area. Hibiki told Shizuka and Titania as much using hand signals, as well as how she intended to take them out: Hibiki would stealth inside and take out the patrolling angel when he was out of sight. Then she would take out one of the flying angels, as would Titania. Then they would need to deal with the two on the ground quickly, ideally before the other two bodies hit the ground. They'll have to move fast but this sort of operation is what Hibiki specilized in. Once they were ready Hibiki and Shizuka attacked.

Cool, thank you. My character will hopefully be rather dexterous, as she relies on these critical hits or her spells to do damage. She lacks the sheer brawn to slug it out with other warriors or knights, what with being an assassin and all. The best armor is to not get hit.

One final question, how will our characters be obtaining misc items and equipment? I imagine that we'll have merchants to buy things from, though I was hoping that my character could be a sort of herbalism who could grow/make her own consumables, such as Green Blossom, Bug Pellets, and Resins? Not that she'll have an infinite amount mind you, but just something she could trade with others or use for herself.
Hmm. That's a shame, I love using Chameleon to sneak up on my enemies. How about items like the Silver Talisman, Bright Bugs, or Rogue Waters? Also while I know we shouldn't be using game mechanics to limit everything we can do in this RP, I am curious how we're going to manage spells. Will we have a focus bar, or will we only be allowed to use a certain amount of spells before needing to rest at a bonfire? And speaking of mechanics, while in-game it's not possible, could I use my estoc to parry? In Dark Souls 2 I used a rapier over an estoc for my caster character since she can still parry even with it as a right-handed weapon.
Thank you, I do have a few more question though.

I know you don't want armor from Dark Souls 3, but what about spells? Because my character is actually based off the assassin class but with different starter armor, but I was hoping to have Spook, Farron Dart, and Chameleon. Her fighting style involves hiding from the enemy until she can get the drop on them.
I'm interested in joining, though I have a question about the attributes. Do we have 20 skill points to add to each of our stats, or can we lower certain stats to get more points to use? I've noticed a few character sheets do both where they either only add 20 points to their ten, or lower the default ten and assign the rest of the points to other skills.
