It was very similar to most multiversial travels, except this one had key differences that made it particularly attractive to the overlord and its crew. A portal in a Multiverse Hub leading to a parallel hub, it was exactly what they were looking for all this time. Reacting quickly, it sent a message to that specific agent it contacted earlier via telepathy.

With that communicated to the spy in the Goa'uld's base of operations, the Ethereal could now handle Ruiko's case. It didn't have too much time to waste and leaving everything up to Saber would be a terrible idea given he wasn't even recruited. But the alien could maybe make profit of this situations and have both of them expose their reasoning behind their confidence. They were, after all, quite courageous for people just discovering a psychic alien and the multiverse. Especially the young Esper who manifested a form of animosity toward Misaka for reasons personal to her and that the Ethereal wouldn't care too much about. What intrigued it was the idea that she was convinced she could take on a Level 5 Esper when she barely seemed to fit the criteria of that category of humans. Raising more questions than it answered, the overlord would have an easy solution to getting concise conclusions.

The alien backed up a bit, dedicating a small portion of its time to observe this battle in person before departing to what it detected earlier. It had the plan of going alone with that unknown spy to avoid too much conspicuous activity, but they'd eventually have to find a way to get all their special specimens in there in order to get their operations done swiftly.
